There were amazing . I had other movers who didn’t show up so I called nyc great movers and they showed up right away saved my move . I also had to be in my storage at a certain time before they closed . The movers worked so hard and fast and made it the storage just in time . Super professional and quick and hard workers . Really nice guys i recommend them to everyone. Do reliable

The entire setup and move went smoothly. Everything went as planned. Everyone I dealt with was fantastic. The movers were amazing and worked quick and relentlessly. Just wished it would have been 3 guys instead of 2. But they were awesome.

Really great experience with this company. Very responsive coordinating staff; really friendly moving crew; they arrived early to check out the items and then came back promptly at the assigned time; dismantled and handled items with care; reasonable pricing. Would definitely recommend.

🚫 DO NOT HIRE GREAT MOVERS — UNPROFESSIONAL, CARELESS, AND DISHONEST On October 30, 2025, I hired Great Movers to remove and store heavy items from my property. Three movers arrived, led by a foreman named Steve. They were instructed to place the sofa and love seat in a designated dumpster area. During the move, the team used our bathroom while working in the bedroom. Shortly after they left, my daughter arrived home and immediately realized that her gold, diamond, and pink sapphire necklace — a deeply sentimental graduation gift she’d worn almost daily for three years — was missing. It had been safely in the bathroom that morning, and she hadn’t worn it that day due to her outfit choice. We searched thoroughly. It was gone. I texted Steve immediately and asked for his manager’s contact information. When he called back, I explained what happened. His first response was dismissive: “Great Movers isn’t responsible for stolen items.” No empathy, no concern, no sense of accountability. Over the next three days, I called the company multiple times and left messages for management (Saad or anyone in charge) — not a single call was returned. Zero acknowledgment. As if that wasn’t enough, I then received a call from building management saying the movers had dumped my furniture next to a pizza shop’s dumpster, upsetting the business owner. I had clearly told them to place the items inside the designated dumpster area. When I called again, the dispatcher promised to contact Steve. Steve later claimed I “never said anything” about a designated area — an outright lie. He finally returned to move the furniture to the proper spot, but even then, he set it next to the dumpster until I told him to put it inside. When I again brought up the stolen necklace, he was cold, sarcastic, and emotionless. I told him I would be filing a police report and that if the necklace was returned, there would be no questions asked. His only reply was to ask “where it was located.” It is now November 5, and I have still received no response from Great Movers management. This experience has been deeply upsetting, not only because of the stolen jewelry and unprofessional conduct, but also because of the company’s complete lack of integrity, accountability, and compassion. ⚠️ My advice: DO NOT USE GREAT MOVERS. If you value your belongings — and basic human decency — find another moving company. Great Movers = Great Disappointment.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. The customer service was terrible. I had to call them 5 times because they would never call me back, they promised the driver would call me multiple times and never did. When the movers finally did come they were hours late, wanted to move late into the night, extremely rude dispatcher and movers who blamed me for their terrible behavior, then demanded payment upfront before they even started the service! Never hire these people, they will leave you in a bind and blame you for their mistakes. I would give them zero out of five stars if I could. Again, DO NOT HIRE THEM. You are making a mistake if you do and you will absolutely regret it. Go with any other company, they will be much more professional than these disrespectful amateurs.

Update September: still nothing. Tried to call them and nobody reach back. Update 07 July: I sent two emails and left a voice mail and nobody ever responded. Our move was estimated at 4 hours with one stop, but ended up taking 7.5 hours due to multiple issues, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior. The problems began when the movers struggled unexpectedly to disassemble our sofa, causing delays. We are not sure to say if it was objectively hard to disassemble or they might have caused damage it prior to it. When we met them at the second location, it became clear that only one of the three movers was experienced. The others didn't seem to know how to properly wrap or carry items and were careless with our furniture—bumping into doorways and dragging pieces across the floor. We took the subway to the final apartment and arrived 20 minutes later, only to wait another 40 minutes for the movers, who didn’t answer our calls. We later found out they had gone on a lunch break without informing us. One of the movers also made comments that made me uncomfortable. The unloading process was painfully slow and inefficient. Due to the delay and their extended break, we exceeded the estimated time by 3.5 hours and ended up paying 60% more than quoted. Despite our dissatisfaction, we still gave the gratuity we had planned, only to be told by the mover that he expected a 20% tip and had done us a “favor” by not charging us more. After the move, we discovered that our wooden dining table had been cracked. This experience was frustrating, stressful, and unprofessional from start to finish.

The worst, if I could give no stars I would. Three pieces of furniture were damaged when discussed with the individuals that were moving them. the response was "what do you want me to do about it?" Called numerous times to get resolution and correction on billing. It's been over two weeks and billing has not been corrected. Several pieces did not fit the truck.So needed to do them by car. Stay away from the team out of the Linden facility.
