I've been waiting for 8 weeks to get my boots back and have not received them. Nushoe told me last week that I should have them "in a day or two". Very disappointed with their customer service. Hopefully they do good enough work that I remove this review and give them a good one.

Resole and leather reconditioning for Birkenstocks greatly exceeded expectations - quality nearly matched a completely new pair. Pricing was favorable; coast-to-coast shipping added a premium, but still less than buying new. Timing was reasonable and the ability to check in on status was reassuring. Would definitely recommend!

Terrible communication, along with over a month delay. I ordered a restore (wash+resole) for my uggs. The resole came out great. My uggs had heavy water stains, but they can't work miracles. However, I'm sure they did their best to clean them as they have that new shoe smell, and I'm satisfied that I can at least wear them out in public now. I'm happy with my restore but I took 2 stars due to their poor communication. They did not notify me there would be a delay due to warehouse changes until after I made multiple attempts to contact them.

I sent my Uggs in for a cleaning and resole and it was a terrible experience. Not only were they very very delayed, there was absolutely zero communication. I emailed the company several times with the email provided on their website with no response. I ended up finding a phone number on Reddit and texting them there (no calling option). They said there was a delay because they were moving warehouses - this is absolutely okay, but there was zero communcation about this and my shoes ended up taking and extra month to come back. When I got them back, I realized they did not re-sole them. They smelled like they had been cleaned, but the soles were still worn and old. Clearly didn't get the service I had paid for - I reached out using the phone number again for a refund but who knows if they'll respond.

When I got an email confirming they received my boots. Email stated it would take 3-4 weeks to process the order. It took over 6. I tried multiple times for a status update after week 5 with no response until it was in transit. When I finally got them back the order was wrong! I wanted the leather sole replaced and was given a rubber one.

Excellent job of Ariat work boot repair I sent in a pair of 4 year old, very worn Ariat work boots for repair. The heel on one boot was separating and the sole was separating on the other. The liner on both boots was shredded in the heel area making it difficult to remove without a boot horn. I could not believe how good of a job NuShoe did on the repair of these boots. The soles were replaced on both boots, heel liner was repaired on both boots, and they were cleaned and polished unbelievably well. This is a great alternative to buying new boots just yet.

POOR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!! IT'S GOING ON 5 WEEKS AND 3 EMAILS WITH NO RESPONSE ABOUT MY UGGS. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! THEY STATE THAT IT ONLY TAKE 3-4 WEEKS FOR YOUR SERVICE. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH A BUSINESS. I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY UGGS CURRENTLY WITH NO INFO.FROM THIS BUSINESS!!

Send my boots in to get repaired the shittiest job I’ve ever seen. My boots were out left boot on the on the left outside in the right boot on the right outside, that’s the way they were repaired only the heels not the whole soul. My understanding was the whole soul was supposed to be replaced for $150. I could’ve got a better job done where I live at for 50 bucks. The boots were repaired and it feels like I’m walking on the sides of them instead of on the bottom it is hurting my feet I can’t wear them.

This company is completely ridiculous. I trusted Tecovas recommendation to send my boots here to get them resoled but its been several weeks and there is no communication as to where my boots are. After reading some of the other reviews im quite scared ill be out another couple hundred bucks just having to buy a new pair of boots. Living in Spokane I have access to whites, nicks, JK boots, and franks boots. If you need your shoes resoled I would recommend any of these brands specifically nicks as they take care of me and have a very fast turnaround time. Will not be visiting nu shoe again.

I was excited to find a company that could resole Uggs. I paid for the Ugg Restore option which includes shampoo and resole for 2 pairs of Ugg boots. I shipped them and they were received per the UPS tracking in August. By mid October I had not had any communication and started calling. I was told I'd receive a call back about a status update on my 2 boots. I kept calling regularly to try and get information. They finally were able to tell me by email 1 pair was lost even though my tracking showed it was delivered the same date and accepted by the same person as the other pair. I asked if I could come look for the missing pair myself (you cannot due to their insurance). I sent photos of what they looked like. These Uggs are from 2013 and no longer sold. I am still waiting to hear back if I will be reimbursed for the lost pair. I am still waiting to receive the pair that was not lost (it's now November). Wish I'd read reviews before I shipped them in. Really disappointed in the entire experience. The concept is great but I would've thought twice about sending them in if I knew I would never get them back.

I have a pair of 15 year old hiking boots that I had hoped could be repaired. I sent NuShoe an email with pictures of the damage, and they responded next-day to explain why they could not fix my boots. While I'm disappointed they couldn't repair them, I still had a great experience dealing with them because they responded very quickly and clearly.

I don’t normally write reviews like this, but my experience with NuShoe was extremely disappointing because of poor customer service and communication. I sent my Birkenstocks in for repair and was told it would take 3 to 4 weeks, but it ended up taking 6 weeks with no updates during that time. When I finally received them, they were the wrong size (39) even though I had confirmed through email that they are size 40. After reaching out, I was told I could send them back to be corrected. I did, but when they confirmed the details again, the email still listed size 39. I replied once more to clarify that they are size 40, and the response made it sound like I was asking to change the size instead of correcting their mistake. I even sent proof from my original REI order showing size 40, but I never received a response or an apology. Two months after I sent my sandals in I finally received the shoes and they are the right size with no communication from the company. The most frustrating part is that NuShoe never apologized for the original delay or the extra delay caused for their error. The repair quality itself is excellent, which makes the lack of communication even more disappointing. I’ve included screenshots of the shoes before the repair, the wrong size pair they sent, the final product, and my email exchanges with their team.

I recently used Nushoe for much needed Birkenstock restoration on a pair of sandals. I am impressed by the attention to detail of cleaning and replacing the bottom of my shoes. I will definitely recommend and procure their services again!

I have a favorite pair of Merrells that I have had for over 25 years. Nushoe put new soles on the and cleaned them so they look and feel like brand new. Thank you Nushoe!
