I personally wouldn't recommend this company. From the beginning it was a little mess. I wasn't sure what was going on. The pannels are working and they were installed quick...too quick I would say. When they finished i didn't know when everyone was gone. Nobody asked are we happy with the job or even the word there was more space on the roof to fit more pannels. I had to ring the office and ask to fit in more even we did asked before to fit as many as they can. Then I've heard over the phone how is it possible to have space left maybe the boys didn't fit them properly? That's the last thing I wanna hear. Anyway extra pannels went up quick as well but finishing touches are not great you can see on the pictures. Cables not hidden outside properly just hanging and inside covering it's a joke. See the pictures... overall there is so many companies out there I wish we picked someone else especially they weren't the cheapest out there.
After a year it's a huge disappointment.
It started with dishonest sales techniques and concealment of various information. The installation itself was clean and tidy, but there was no explanation of the system, operation, or settings.
When questions or problems arose, they either didn't answer the phone, didn't return calls, or didn't even promise they would call back and the problem would be resolved.
I hugely regret not choosing a different company.
I had a heatpump installed 3 years ago, service was great. Most recently, the heatmiser hub has stopped working. Despite multiple calls and emails over the past 2–3 months, I have yet to receive any support. This level of service is simply unacceptable.

I had panels fitted by NRG in 2022 through Electric Ireland. At the time I was advised that I could fit a battery at a later date with the inverter that was fitted at initial installation . Earlier this week I contacted NRG about fitting a battery. I was shocked and frankly disgusted when I was told the inverter that is currently fitted is not compatible and that a hybrid inverter needs to be fitted with a cost of almost €7,000. I was lied to by the sales man and completely mis sold on their offering. Take this into consideration folks when getting quotes from NRG / OHK Energy
Had our PV system for over a year and very pleased with it. Had a few small technical problems and was talked through them over the phone by a very helpful gent named Kevin. Very good service.

I booked the heat pump service for 6 house in my estate and I received the service report after 2 weeks.
Service engineers just clean the outdoor unit and nothing much during the service. They mentioned multiple point checks when I asked for the set but engineers did not check anything. Worst experience not recommending to anyone.

Beyond disappointed with this company, paid a €3k deposit after roof was surveyed for solar panels, then the day after I paid the deposit, I got a phone call to say they don't do the tiles on my house as they are too old. House was viewed by sales rep and €3k deposit taken which I still haven't gotten back from them 4 working days later. Very unprofessional and inexperienced. Time wasters. Getting panels fitted by another company who have no problem with the tiles on the roof.

My dad had his 12 panels installed and fully hooked up in one morning. From first enquiry via Electric Ireland to installation it took a total of one month. A much better experience than I had having mine installed by another provider in 2020. I would highly recommend this service. The app is great that you can see how the power is allocated and the water is hot. The solar panels work when overcast and generate enough to run the house. Optimum is of course in full direct sunlight, but you will definitely notice a difference in your electricity bill if you start using appliances during the day.

I got solar panels & Eddi & Zappi & Battery & Heat Pump & Smart Thermostats installed by the NRG Panel team, I’m delighted with them. They had the best price after I shopped around, great customer service, they have been very fast to respond and always very helpful with any minor questions that I’ve had. I have a plug in hybrid car and it’s been great being able to drive around on free energy. Plenty of hot water during the longer summer days and we have been even supplying energy back to the grid which I hear energy companies will have to pay us for soon. All in all I’m confident that I chose the right people to fit my system and I’m confident that they won’t let me down if there’s any issues down the line.

It’s a few months now since we got 14 PV panels installed and 4.8 battery.
From the first call to NRG to being referred to the sales guy Sean for my area to his call and then zoom call to site survey. Found them excellent and explained everything. Sean recommend 10 panels but l decided on 14 and battery to get full grant as l may invest in electric car in the future. Now it’s just waiting for smart meter. It’s supposed to be quicker when you have the panels. Time will tell. Three months later we’re still waiting.
I have plenty of hot water and l can use back up battery in evening when we’re home from work for are electrical needs. Would Highly recommend NRG
We got the smart meter early April and have a new plan with my energy provider. Electric bills our way less. In the pasted few weeks l have had several days when l am only using backed up power/ regenerated. Happy out. I already see my investment paying for its self

Just had additional four panels added to my system in the last few days. Best investment l ever made. Now 18
Also invested in Electric car. The best decision l ever made

Great job well done. Arrived on time and left place clean afterwards. After sales when i had a problem was excellent and fixed in a couple of days. all working perfectly and my electricity costs have plummeted, definitely recommended.
