Really wish I could’ve posted a positive experience here, but I was informed about 5-10 minutes before the consult that Megan does not take insurance here. I don’t necessarily beseech her for it, though I wish I had been told sooner so I didn’t wait 2 weeks for nothing, so I’m writing this review to let others know that she told me she takes no insurance whatsoever. She quoted me at $250 for an intake and $150 per session afterward. This info isn’t listed on the website and it could be helpful. She was kind and respectful in her email.

Megan is truly an angel and her sessions have been very therapeutic for me. I recommend Megan for everyone who is out there looking to heal and is ready for the change. I was searching for a therapist who would not only listen to me and provide solutions but also someone who will work me to untangle the webs of my past that are connected to my present and future. Our very first session made me feel like I am meeting an old friend after a really long time. She listened patiently and after the session, I felt like someone lifted the heavy weight of emotions off my chest. She touches the core topic, without offending you or making you feel like something is wrong with you at a personal level. I am truly lucky to have stumbled on her profile and I am proud of my decision for going ahead with Megan.

Favoring clients and made me pay for other clients consequences. Don’t recommend! Was referred by psychiatrist Linda Akudo to seek therapy with Meghan and they can share my progress with my psychiatrist. I thought good idea! Meghan told me she has a 11:00AM appointment available on 09/05/24. I agreed to it. On 09/05 the day of my appointment I get a text 2 hours before the appointment saying her client isn’t reinstating her appointment and had to cancel the 11:00AM appointment with me. Sounds like her other client cancelled their 11:00AM appointment and then I got the slot. But the client wants her 11:00AM back. I don’t understand how that is fair to me when Meghan and I agreed to this time. The right thing that should have been done by Meghan is tell the other client “unfortunately your cancelled appointment has already been filled and we can reschedule another day”. But nope I’m the one that had to deal with the consequences due to other client being difficult and indecisive. I don’t recommend this therapist if that’s where her morals are and favoring other clients. I will be sharing this feedback with Linda Akudo she needs to find a new partnership for her clients.
