I have had several recent projects done by Northern Electric and each time the crew and work is outstanding. I had fire alarms replaced and ceiling fans and recessed lights installed. The crew arrived on time, very professional, and cleaned up the job site after the work was completed. I would highly recommend them!
I recently had Northern Lights install several new canned lights and replace a few others with more modern cans. They also added a canned light at the top of the stairs to give me light at that part of the stairwell which was dark before. In addition they replaced a bathroom fan switch with a modern digital fan switch, replaced an outdoor outlet with a GFCI outlet and waterproof cover, as well as added an outlet in the garage. The crew worked with me throughout to work around any issues and be sure I was happy with the work. The price was fair and I am happy with the job the professional crew did. While they had to cut a few holes to run wires they patched the holes before finishing. I would recommend them to anyone in need of electrical work. Thanks guys!
I have worked with Northern Lights for projects at two different properties and truly can’t recommend them highly enough! At my old house, they helped me with removal of outdated wiring to get my house up to code for sale. Vin was at my house within 24 hours to look everything I and was honest about what could be repaired and what needed to be removed. In my new home, they helped me with replacing my entire system following some issues with my inspection. Nick was thorough with all of my options and helped me choose the right upgrade for my home. I appreciate that in both instances, everything was clearly communicated and there was no high pressure sales or upselling. Everything was offered as options and I was able to make the best choice for my situation. Every team member that did the work was professional, friendly, and really easy to work with. They are the only company I’ll call for my future projects!
Charged me $1000 to install a bathroom exhaust fan that I purchased to replace an old one and to install an outlet that I didn’t want (wiring was already in place). $1000 What a rip off!!!!
In addition to the fact that they initially charged me for a Panasonic Exhaust Fan when I told them I already bought the replacement fan. Then they had to reimburse me. The electrician did work without asking that was not in the estimate (installing outlet) and then told me that he couldn’t do the work I asked for despite sending photos and links the products that I purchased all to the GM in advance. Electrician even said he was never sent the info in advance from the GM. So why did the GM ask me for all the info ahead of time. I found them to be so unprofessional. Never using them again.

Installed a Tesla wall charger in my garage. They showed up on time. Made a suggestion to run the cable above the finished wall in the basement rather than a visible conduit across the wall. Installed the charger and sub-panel exactly where I asked. Cleaned up and vacuumed the carpet when done. Great job!!
they did an excellent job upgrading our electrical service and running electricity to our detached garage. These guys came out years ago to advise me and give me a quote for some work that I ultimately did not have done. Incredibly competent, professional and trustworthy. I wish all contractors were like these guys.
Quick reponse, convenient appointment and the work was completed in a timely manner. Wasn't the cheapest but we're happy with the result. The two electriciams were also very friendly.
We have used Northern Lights Electric for two jobs and both were done amazingly well and in a very timely manner. The first job was a large complete wiring of a first floor apartment (lights, outlets, bathroom fan, cable, and two new circuit breaker boxes). All the details were carefully planned, communicated and executed. Their advice on all parts of this big job was outstanding and much appreciated. Our second job was installation of recessed lighting in three large rooms. Northern Lights Electric gave us wonderful advice on how and where to place them for the most beneficial lighting. Again, they were installed beautifully. Every interaction has been polite, informative, and very positive. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful company.
