What a fabulous shop! I was walking past one day on my way to a large department store in search of a few new dresses to refresh my wardrobe as I was just about to start a new role at a new firm. I saw the shop and remembered Nora had spoken at an event I attended last year so I thought I would stop in and check it out. As luck would have it, Nora was there and she helped me pick out several new dresses and suits that complemented my shape and were appropriate for my new role. If you need the perfect dress, this is the place! They are all classic, comfortable, they wear well and the colors are bright and cheery. Most importantly, all of the dresses are cut to accentuate the right curves. When someone compliments my dress, it's usually a Nora.
This is the holy Grail of women's wear! I honestly felt like Indiana Jones discovering a precious artifact when I stumbled upon Nora Gardner. Everything is made in New York with extraordinary attention to detail. Nora is often in the flagship location which makes the experience of shopping here particularly special in this faceless, nameless, fast-fashion world. Nora's collection is ambitious: she doesn't sacrifice form or function, style or quality. I practically own one of everything at this point (why shop anywhere else) and I have traveled with her suits and dresses to multiple countries -- everything looks amazing right out of the suitcase: polished, elegant, and put together. I cannot express more enthusiasm for what Nora is doing. I love that she hosts evening events for her clients as well -- always a fascinating group of women. Also, Janice is the BEST!
