I submitted a request for class information about a year ago. I didn't hear back for months.
Summer of 2025 approached and I was continuously harassed via text, call, voicemail and email about my inquiry. Not just once, I'm talking weeks of constant badgering.
I was initially very interested, but the lack of professionalism I experienced makes me never want to step foot at this business. It felt as though they were desperate for business so that's when my inquiry mattered.
I'll politely give them 3 stars, simply because I did not experience their class first hand.

Hello Mohamamd. If you've trained at our facility and weren't happy with your service for any reason, please reach out and let us know what happened. We'd be happy to listen with utmost sincerity to see if we could rectify the situation to your satisfaction.
Joining this Krav Maga community has been one of the best decisions I've made--it truly provides one of the most practical life skills anyone could learn in today's world. The training is effective, realistic, and empowering. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping you improve, no matter your level of experience.
A special mention to their manager, Jezzica--she is simply the best! She goes above and beyond to make sure members are supported, and she's always willing to work with you based on your personal needs. That kind of dedication and care is rare and very much appreciated.
Overall, this gym isn't just about fitness or self-defense--it's about building confidence, discipline, and valuable life skills. I can't recommend it highly enough!
My daughter has been attending the little warrior classes for 6 months now, and she, my wife, and I love Nomad. The staff is great, Jezzica, Nadia, Melvin, and David are all great instructors and take their time to work with you one on one to improve your technique. We recently signed up for another 6 months as I have seen my daughter gain self confidence, is more assertive, and feels more confident on what to do if she encounters a negative situation. My wife and I were motivated enough that we took a two day family self-defence workshop, and we loved it. If you are looking for a family-friendly martial arts gym, Nomad is the place.
Great environment. Very friendly, helpful and encouraging staff. We felt welcome from the first visit. My wife has neurological limitations and Melvin has been Wonderful in thinking of variants on exercises so she can participate with the class. I highly recommend this studio and staff.
pricey!!!!
never saw the owner, instructor seems competent, i was in the military, and it just did not feel right

Response from Shane, Owner of Nomad Krav Maga:
William, we’re sorry you didn’t have a great experience—but I’d like to clarify a few things for anyone reading this.
We’re proud to be a Top 10 Gym in the U.S. according to Yelp in 2024 and a top-rated business on the platform for a reason. Our facility is world-class, our training is second to none, and our professionalism and customer care are what we hang our hat on every single day.
Our program is not a one-size-fits-all gym model. When you join Nomad Krav Maga, you’re not just walking into a building—you’re joining a community. We offer personalized coaching, goal-setting, accountability, nutrition consults, and most importantly, real training that prepares people for the real world.
You mentioned being in the military, and while we respect that greatly, that doesn't automatically mean our program isn't valuable. In fact, many of our members, instructors, and even law enforcement personnel have a military background—and they thrive here. You didn’t take a class, didn’t train, and were only here a short time. So with all due respect, judging the entire program off a brief walk-through isn’t fair or credible.
We also have training options for different budgets, and we always do our best to match people with what works for their goals and life situation.
To anyone else reading this: check our hundreds of 5-star reviews, our 10+ year track record in Las Vegas, and the national recognition we’ve earned. Then come try a class for yourself. You’ll see why people trust us—not just to get in shape—but to become stronger, more capable versions of themselves.
And William—if you’re ever open-minded and willing to give the program an actual shot (with a good attitude, like the rest of us here), we’d be happy to welcome you back and show you what Nomad Krav Maga is really all about.

I did Nomad's Become your Beast challenge and highly recommend trying it out. I enjoyed both the mental and physical training. The wide variety of classes was great as it kept things more fun while also teaching a wide set of skills. It can definitely be very challenging at times, but both the instructors and other members were very supportive regardless of your skill level. This is a great place to learn krav, general self-defense, or just keep in shape.
My daughter has been going here for years and I have nothing but positive things to say! Super professional and safe. Pricing is extremely affordable and they even worked with me a few times with billing which was greatly appreciated. I really can't recommend this place enough for anyone wanting to better themselves physically and mentally. Even tho my daughter is off to college now she will def be dropping in for classes when she comes home. A++++++
