Work is mediocre, service is horrific and prices are exorbitant! I worked in the interior design business in Chicago for decades, needed a few things done up here so reached out to a friend who works for a designer up here. Seriously, run don't walk Away from Nicola furniture!
Nothing was done on time, no communication initiated on their end, it was ridiculous! Going back to Chicago next time
Niola furniture reupholstered our Stickley arm chair using Red Wing shoe leather--a custom ask and difficult material to work with. They made our vision come true; it's the nicest chair in our house! They give quality furniture the attention and detail it deserves. I would highly recommend this business.
Out of all the upholstery shops in the Twin Cities, I chose Niola based on the number of 5 star reviews. I'm so glad I did! Manuel did excellent work on our chair and ottoman. The pickup and delivery service provided by Henry (Manuel's son) added to the overall ease of the process. Most importantly, the finished product is beautiful and expertly done. Thank you, Manuel (and Henry).

PSA A Niola Upholstery van just blew through a pedestrian crosswalk on Vernon with a 2nd grader and me in the crosswalk. The driver -- whom I had eye contact with -- was laughing as I pointed to the crosswalk sign as he approached. If you have upholstery business, I would not advise employing a lawbreaking, inconsiderate, mean-spirited person / company like that. And yes, I called the company. They just said "jeez". No apology. No nothing

I cannot say enough about Niola furniture upholstery. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I recently purchased a new to us, Prevost coach. Niola and his son came out and reupholstered everything I asked for perfectly within a few days. I highly recommend this company without a second thought. I look forward to having more work done by Niola in the future.
