Stay away if you value your money. This is the one and only attorney office that wanted to charge us 100 euros for a consult. I paid and expected to get premium consultation, but instead we got a lot confusing, unclear claims (half of them were wrong), no responses on follow ups. Even worse, once we started asking questions, the person who was doing the consultation - Carmen, became very confrontational and instead of answering our questions, she started ridiculing those questions. She also cancelled the first meeting 2 minutes before the meeting, claiming her internet was not working, and when we finally met, she didn't even apologize. The price was at least 50% more than what others quoted us. The cherry on the cake was when once she became irritated by our "audacity" of asking questions, she just hang up 45 minutes into the call, even though technically we paid for the full hour. To sum up, this was the most outrageous experience of any legal consultation, and that's not even considering that it was paid. For a paid consult this was outrageous. I think their core service offering is not helping with visas, it is giving useless consultations and cutting the people off after they paid 100 euros. Stay away. You have been warned.
P.S. Carmen is a very unprofessional and nasty person. I wouldn't exaggerate if I'd say that she is one of the most unprofessional and toxic person I've ever met. If that's how she treats new potential paying customers, I can't even imagine how she would treat customers once they pay her the full inflated visa processing fees.

Dear Sergey,
We take feedback seriously, especially when it helps us improve. However, we must respectfully clarify and respond to several inaccuracies and the personal tone of your review.
Firstly, our consultations are designed to provide clear, case-specific legal advice, based on the documentation provided and in accordance with current Spanish immigration law. In your case, our lawyer explained that certain essential documents—such as the marriage certificate and company incorporation certificate—must be recently issued and apostilled, as explicitly required by law. This is not a subjective recommendation, but a legal necessity. Choosing not to follow that advice is your decision, but dismissing it as incorrect is misleading.
Regarding the consultation fee, we are transparent about our pricing. The €100 fee reflects the time and expertise invested in a personalized assessment. Many reputable firms in Spain also charge for consultations—some even significantly more. If a free initial consultation was your priority, you were of course free to choose a different firm.
We regret that you perceived the lawyer’s communication style as confrontational. From our side, the consultation was conducted with professionalism, even as the conversation became increasingly combative due to the persistent rejection of the legal advice provided. Carmen also communicated the cancellation of the first meeting due to a sudden internet outage, which was entirely out of her control and not taken lightly.
We contacted you after your review to apologize, offer a free follow-up, and clarify any doubts—none of which you accepted. We also take issue with the personal attacks made against our lawyer. Criticizing service is one thing; insulting a professional with terms like “toxic” and “nasty” crosses a line, and we reject such language entirely.
At NIM Immigration Lawyers, we remain committed to professionalism, transparency, and integrity in all client interactions.
