thomas is an excellent night watchman... someone who knows his 'life' very well.... what he is allowed to do and what not! story telling and expression were on point! most important, of special worth mentioning, is that he remembered all 12 people in his group by name! ask for thomas as your night watchman!

We did this experience with our 2 daughters (18 and 20). I think we were expecting more of a general historical tour of old town, whereas this was quite was focused on a specific period of it’s history (around 1633) through the lens of a nightwatchman. We should probably have read the tour description more closely, so be aware that this is not your typical tour! Our guide, Thomas, did a great job playing the part and making the tour interesting.

The plague doctor was the best start to our time in Prague! We have been traveling for a month and our kids (ages 6, 9 and 11) said this was their favorite tour so far. We booked a private tour since we had a group of 7 including children, and I think this worked great. I believe Oscar was our plague doctor, and he was engaging and patiently answered our questions (even if off-topic!). We all loved this experience and it is both fun and extremely well-researched and planned out.

David provided an historical account of the plague during the Middle Ages as he guided us throughout the city during the 90 minute tour and connected many facts with science, art and other topics with sincerity and humor. We walked through beautiful sections of Prague and viewed many buildings that had a historical connection to this era. I recommend his tour highly if you are interested in learning more about this time period.

I have been on several of this style tour with my family and this was among the best - the host was engaging and clearly an enthusiastic expert on his subject matter. He was extremely patient with all of my kids questions - while keeping the tour on track - and helped them engage with the history as well. We learned and got to see it a bit of Prague. I would absolutely recommend this tour!

David was very knowledgeable; the fact that it was not just storytelling, but a well informed tour based on extensive research, made this a great and very informative experience.
