I worked with Kevin to get a house inspection in September 2024. The inspection was to include general home inspection, termite, and radon testing. I also had to prepay for all of the services. I was told the radon inspection was to be set up the day before the general home inspection and would be completed the day after. After receiving confirmation that the radon test was set up, I arrived at the general home inspection and realized that no radon test had been started. Kevin confirmed that there must have been some sort of mixup and offered to refund the cost of the radon test. This is where the problems started. After 2 months of contacting the company and Kevin directly, I have not received my refund. They have stopped responding to texts, calls, voicemails, and anytime I do manage to get them to pickup a call, they tell me that they will look into it and get back to me. At this point, I have no faith that I will receive my money back. Save a headache and go with a different company to get your home inspection

This was my first time buying a home so I didn’t quite know what to expect. Chris and two others showed up for my inspection right on time, took the time to inspect everything but also stayed after and answered questions I had about various things around the house. I recommend everyone to use NPI, I certainly will for future purchases. 10/10!!

We used this company based on the recommendation of our realtor and really regret it. This company stated that the age of the furnace was 2015 in their inspection report, however when the furnace died two months into owning the home, the company installing the new furnace told us that it was a 2011 model. When I reached out to National Home Inspection, they told me the furnace age they gave us was based on their best "guesstimate". It takes two seconds to see what year the furnace was manufactured by looking at the manufacturer label. What's worse...this company even included a picture of that label in their report. Had we known the furnace was 12 years old, we likely would not have offered on the home. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for an inspector who will do the due diligence required for a proper inspection.

My girlfriend and I have now had the pleasure of working with NHISOhio twice within the last month while looking at condos. Kevin and Mike Metzger are the epitome of professional, and straight out of the gait their extensive knowledge and experience is apparent. The first place we looked at, Mike sat us down--as first time home buyers--to explain exactly what a home inspection is, what it's for, the kind of things they are looking for, as well as explicitly stating things that they don't check; he gave us a concise and helpful summary of his experience and time in the industry, all while Kevin was working outside getting the *drone* pictures of the unit, as well as the rest of the complex. We did a complete and thorough walk-through with him, while he pointed out things that were good, things that could be a problem--big or small, and possible timelines of the problem occurring--and things that were a problem *now*. Kevin joined us when the drone photos were complete and walked us through his findings, and then finished off the walk-through with us, sharing his detailed analysis as well as answering all of our questions. We opted not to go for that condo based on the facts presented, and I'm not sure I could even ballpark how much money, and how many headaches Kevin and Mike may have saved us. The second inspection with Kevin was exactly the same: pure professionalism, and stellar customer service. With an NHISOhio inspection you get expert analysis, unbiased facts, an incredibly detailed report with access to high resolution images of the various findings--including drone images--and access to the absolutely invaluable experience of Kevin and Mike. I can't even begin to imagine how much money they may have saved not only us, but all of their clients. Worth every penny, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing! The service level is off the charts. Kevin is a true professional. He was patient and not rushed. He took the time to answer all of my many questions. Everything was checked thoroughly and I walked away with a great deal of confidence in the property I just purchased! I would highly recommend their services. Just one small note, some of the vendors they recommended for various services for the home appear to no longer be in business.

I called them on a Monday and they were able to fit my home inspection in on a Friday. They came out and did an AMAZING job! They spent a ton of time walking me through everything!!! As a first time home buyer I felt they were very detail oriented and called out different maintenance things on the house that I didn't even know I would have to do yearly. They had a super detailed report that helped us negotiate with the sellers. I would call them time and time again for any inspection needs. I had the radon, full home inspection, drone inspection of the roof, and so much more! They spent tons of time making sure I understood everything and provided great detail. The team was very knowledgeable on houses and the different regulations and codes. They were very kind, good people! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!
