I recently purchased the condensed milk RTD. I first drank one from the can. As with all canned coffee, I usually shake it a couple times before opening. Which I did on this one. However, I poured the coffee into a glass and this is where the product is cause for concern in comparison to other RTDs. After poring the drink, I noticed bits of condense milk floating throughout. After sitting for a couple minutes, it was clearly separating and looking like curdled milk. A couple minutes more and it was in thirds…large chunk of milk settled on bottom, coffee in center and top third another large portion of milk. I don’t know how they conduct quality control or testing for the product but this is far from acceptable. Honestly, I don’t ever want to drink the rest of the pack I ordered knowing this is what happens after sitting. I have never come across this with any other canned coffees (La Colombe, Black Rifle, Rise, etc). Understand they don’t have a return policy but a refund should be considered. An individual email was sent to them with pictures. The response was “some subtle clumping is expected.” This is FAR from subtle…subtle is picture one where you can see little bits…not complete separation. some reason only 3-5 star reviews are showing on the site.
The owner of this coffee seems super naive and disrespectful to many coffee roasters in the U.S. with her impulsive communication. Her lack of knowledge about specifically coffee industry led her being so lousy about advertising her coffee. Be honest, we ordered some from Amazon, the coffee was old , bitter, woody, like sitting in the warehouse too long that no longer taste like coffee. We thought her coffee can be replaced for some ground coffee that being manufactured outside the country but it turned out totally disappointed. Stop spreading fake statements when you can’t keep up with quality.

Sarah Nguyen, you are among the talented young man, and I am proud of the young people growing up like you doing something to contribute to the country of Vietnam, but unfortunately your coffee is nothing special and sharp as advertised as you shoddy about it that on the internet and media. You are not even the first person to bring a Vietnamese specialty Coffee to the United States, but it's so funny when you shout out loud about this. Over the past twenty years, many American companies and businesses have been using and processing Vietnamese coffee specialties, but they are humble about it, while you are very new and young, but you do not have humility and so lack of modesty. I went to New York and tried your coffee few month ago, it was really disappointing because it was bitter, and there was no taste but like living a pile of ashes in a pot of warm water 201 F degree. Because you are also a person with Vietnamese roots, so you should be humble, sincere, and not dramatic in your product , so that Americans and the world can still respect the culture of our Vietnamese people.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Our main coffee is Robusta which has compounds that taste bitter so we understand that the blend you may have tasted is not the flavor note that you wanted. But, have you also tried our other blends? We have Arabica and Robusta + Arabica combined so you have other options to choose if you don't want your coffee bitter.
As a small business, our team is hard at work trying to continuously improve our coffee products so it saddens us to receive reviews that seem like pulling the business down instead of lifting it. It also saddens us that you commented on Sahra. Did you try to get to know her before judging her like that? She is a nice person and we hope you get to chat with her, too. Nonetheless, we sincerely thank you for trying us out and we hope you'll be able to enjoy our products in the future!

Hello Jenifer. Thank you for the feedback. Robusta coffee has compounds that taste bitter so some would not be able to appreciate it unless you're the type that likes bold and strong coffee. We also have other options for our consumers. We have Arabica and we have Robusta + Arabica combined. We suggest that you try them.

First bag each of TrueGrit & Anaerobic…impressed so far…TrueGrit has great flavor and noticeably higher caffeine content…Anaerobic is, as advertised, like no coffee I’ve had before and that’s to be taken as a compliment. I’ll be trying all of their offerings…even though I’m usually not a fan of darker roasts, maybe theirs will surprise me. TBC
Ordered four coffee and filter setups for Christmas gifts. I guess the product itself is ok, albeit a bit pricey. Three of the the orders made it to their recipients. The last one has been tracked to a post office in NJ for almost a month and never got any further. The company stopped replying to my emails once I asked for a refund.

Just got a nice advertisement but it worked so bad.. I waited more than 2 weeks for my item but nothing on the notice.. They are so good at defending this delay.. Too bad. bad
Coffee is nothing special. The brand is backed by a great marketing team though.
Disclaimer: I have still yet to try the Hanoi Blend. I ordered 2 coffee bundles one for myself and another as a gift. 2 bags of the Hanoi Coffee and 2 of the Loyalty the total was $163 CAD. I also just received a Duty Bill of $53 CAD. Although they advertise this in the fine print, this was the first time Fedex sent me a customs broker notice. For $216 CAD this is tremendously expensive. The drip filter is interesting but in my opinion takes long for the manual process and is a pain to clean up. I personally did not find the Loyalty blend pleasant to drink. I tied with the drip filter first it tasted bad. It needed a good amount of milk and sugar to taste good for 4oz of coffee. Using the lid the coffee is not that hot. I'm still excited to try the other stuff but it is does not seem that promising. Shipping costed me $37 USD or $50 CAD.
Haven’t received my coffee yet that I ordered a week ago. 5-10 days is sort of ridiculous to get coffee beans delivered in todays day of e-commerce.
*downgrading them to a 2 star until further notice. Still haven’t received after 10 days. Not sure if they sent this via pony express

The coffee with this company is mediocre at best, and yet extremely expensive, especially for what it is. This is an unfortunate situation. The company seems to be all fluff, no stuff. The marketing philosophy is one of all about marketing personality, a story of an immigrant, woman owned business and how politically correct they are, all the great things they do, and all that. I agree with all those things, and support the same. However, a company needs to focus on quality product and great customer service.. then talk of these other things. The company fails at these basics of business. The product is truly mediocre, at best, and the customer service is non existent! One can’t call the company. They literally tell you they have no phones at all. The company markets the owner and a story. Quality of product and customer service does not exist. Sad indeed . A company can do all these things. They choose not to. Quality and consistency or product is on the bottom of list of priorities. Customer service doesn’t matter at all. Telling you how fabulous and wonderful they are is the only priority. Not a recipe for success in the long term. Unfortunate. I like to support companies likes ones they purport to be. This one is all fluff, no stuff

When we first launched, our coffee prices were actually higher than what they are now and we reduced them based on our willingness to take losses in order to share our product with more people. It is always our mission to uplift everyone along the supply chain, be it the farmers, processors, shippers, and onward. Your support not only supports us as a business but the people back in Vietnam who are working hard to produce our coffee and make more money for themselves as well. But we cannot please everybody, even how hard we've worked to give you satisfaction. We are a small business and still trying to perfect our craft and coffee products. But despite that, we are still truly grateful for getting a lot of positive feedback than negative ones. Please know that we always listen and read all our customer's feedback about our product and service. And we appreciate you giving us the time to share your experience with us. Please also know that you can always rely on our customer support team if in case you need assistance. Feel free to reach us at help@nguyencoffeesupply.com

My wife and I prefer slightly different coffee (mine black, hers mostly milk!) and Nguyen Coffee Supply provides some of the best beans we've ever had. It's extremely smooth and delicious, powerful, and seems to be run by a first-gen Vietnamese woman, with actual Robusta beans. After trying each of their bean options, we're now on a monthly subscription and couldn't be happier.
