I hired Nextgen initially to replace my roof and gutters , Elijah and Emma came to my house on 4/22/24 do the initial inspection of the roof , when we were done they have me sign the contract which they never explained to us , Emma just pulled the document on her iPad and that was it . On top of that Elijah said they wouldn’t charge us anything if we decided to go with another company ( their contract states client has three days to cancel without any fees ) . Unfortunately we started having issues with them after the three days , it was very hard to communicate with them , Emma was new to the position , and not very knowledgeable on the field , because of that , I decided to move on and hire another company . I emailed Emma on May 7 , I informed her I was cancelling their services and that I hired Another company . She acknowledged my email and apologize for her lack of experience. I never heard about them , until June 26 , 2024 when Joshua Steinberger emailed me saying my roof was approved and they were ready to replace my roof , I was shock! Three months later , and after telling Emma I didn’t want any services from them . I emailed Joshua back and I informed him I already have my roof replaced . He started threatening me saying I breached a contract and because of that I owe them 20% of their roof estimate which was around 13,000 dollars , an estimate that I NEVER received neither the claim adjuster . He had the nerves to say my insurance email me a check for 13,000 dollars and I had THEIR FUNDS and how come I couldnt pay the 20%?I contacted my insurance company and they said they never sent me that check , the only check I received was the one I used to pay the other contractor that I hired . Joshua lied to me and made false accusations about me , and all of that is on email traffic . I'm in the process of receiving legal consultation to handle this situation as it has affected me and my husband in so many ways. Stay away from this company . Look at the answer from NEXT GEN and how unprofessional is - according to him I got a 14k dollars award , I thought it was 13k? It went up ?What kind of work they did in three months ? Three months without hearing from them ? No communication with my adjuster / already verified that with my insurance company. Definitely a con artist Update - initial response to my comment was deleted and changed to an apology from the owner . An apology doesn’t change the fact your company put me in an emotional distress for being accused of keeping a money I never received ! Not one time but twice , in a public forum too . What kind of company is this ? Poor management , poor leadership . Definitely an awful company Update - their response was changed again , three different answers to my review . Just looking for the one that makes them look like a great company . What a clown ! Update as of July 16- I want everyone to know that I contacted my insurance company just to double check what kind of “work” NextGeN did in relation with my claim . My insurance stated they haven’t had any communication with this company since the beginning of May . So my question is , what kind of work Joshua is referring in his answer to my review ? He said his team did “three months worth of work “ What work ? There was never nothing done according to my insurance . This company is the worst ever , they are big liars , con artists !

Please accept our deepest apologies. Our staff do not work for free nor should they. 3 months of work to achieve a win for a customer, to then be made out like our work product should go un paid. This is the very reason we have to utilize contracts.

We would strongly recommend NextGen Restoration, Inc for roofing and gutter work. We had a wonderful experience with this company and they were very easy to work with. Would like to shout out to our salesman, Mike Melendez. He made this process very easy for us. Also Jeff Coughlin who did amazing gutter work.

I worked with Justin and I have to say he went above and beyond. Justin is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the process thoroughly and answer all of my questions. I had a few hurdles to jump through with my insurance company and I must say my roof would have never gotten done if it wasn't for Justin's help. Because of the size of my roof I expected the work to take several day but they amazingly knocked it out in one day and left no mess behind. I would highly recommend. Justin is the man.

Mike Zinamon was so helpful even though was denied claim he came to clean my gutters for free such great customer service and a great person overall. Would recommend Next Gen to anyone looking to to file a claim the best!

I want to thank the crew that came to my house and did such a beautiful job on my roof and my garage. The men were on time and they cleaned up after themselves as they worked I couldn't ask for a better crew. I want to thank NextGen and all the people that made this a very easy transition ❤️

When a tree fell on my home in September, I contacted NextGen. Their initial representative was knowledgeable, professional and invested in getting the job done. Unfortunately, I was assigned to another rep who has been a complete and total disappointment. And guess what? I still don’t have repairs done. I had to go with another company. Needless to say 10 MONTHS later and no repairs done is completely unacceptable. You shouldn’t have to keep reaching out to find out what's going on with your claim - only to have either no response or an excuse from this company. Keep all your correspondence with this company as they threaten to charge a “fee” for their lack of work. As an edit to my review: Since I’m unable to respond to your response: Your company did NOT tarp my roof. The State Farm inspector did. I breached no contract as it is not legally binding and the communication was nil. You did NOT get the roof approved. The company that I went with did. Please don’t skew the work that you did not do.

Justin Messner got my roof paid for by my insurance. He got on my roof and found a problem that was worth making a claim for, advocated for me with my insurance company, and when I was approved for a complete roof replacement, he had a team out here quickly. Thanks Justin!

Today we signed a contract with NextGen Restoration for replacement of our roofing and siding. We are pleased with the selections for color and style from the many choices that were available, but far more than that, we are happy with the high level of expertise, knowledge and availability from the NextGen representatives who got us to this point. Because the replacements were needed due to damage sustained in a wind and hail storm last summer it was necessary to coordinate efforts with our insurance company. Both Justin Messner and Trenton Cooper put in many hours helping us through the claim procedure and traveled to and from our home many times to meet with us and help us through the process. Both gentlemen were available any time we needed them for answers to questions, advice, reassurance and an impromptu temporary repair to some of our siding that was detaching. They even met our insurance adjuster here at our house on New Year’s Day! We would highly recommend either Jason or Trenton as representatives of NextGen. They have our full confidence and appreciation.

Brad was definitely the BEST! He was professional and courteous and so very helpful all the while searching for the leak in my roof and giving me a clear explanation of what might be the cause. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Mike Melendez was amazing to work with and kept me informed on every step. He even showed up the day the insurance adjuster came out to point out storm damage. We had several other companies out to look at our roof but none of them put in the time and effort Mike did to help us! They got me on the schedule quick and the crew that showed up worked hard all day and finished the roof in one day. I would recommend working with Mike and this company to anyone looking for home improvements.

My wife and I just purchased a new home in February. During our initial inspection we discovered we had a missing ridge cap. The previous owner did have it fixed, but we wanted to confirm this and the quality of work. I thought Brandon would come out within the next few weeks and use a drone, snap a photo and advise us on next steps, but he actually showed up the very same day we reached out. In addition, he did a very thorough inspection! He climbed up physically, took photos, documented any problem areas on the roof and gave recommendations based on their severities. Following our meeting, he provided my wife and I with the detailed inspection report via email. Very professional and great communication with us. We plan on working with him.

Used Nextgen to replace our roof through our insurance company after a bad hail storm in our area. It was a smooth and easy process- Brett was more then helpful, easy to communicate, and very accommodating to my husbands busy work schedule. It was a stress free process they handled everything every step of the way- which made my life easy! Thanks again Brett! Side note in response to other reviews: we had minor damage from the roofers- I think when having such an extensive job done on your house you should have reasonable expectations of things that can occur. Nextgen had NO ISSUE rectifying the small problems we had and were more then happy to take care of us and make sure we were happy from start to finish. Customer service was top notch

I hired NextGen to replace my roof and siding. The sales process was excellent, and they were polite. Look at how they respond to complaints in Google and understand they struggle to take responsibility for their mistakes. Think about what happens when you've hired them if something happens... The roof replacement was done first - They were approximately 3 weeks later than they had initially told me, but that wasn't the end of the world. During the roof replacement, some damage was done by a piece of flashing that a roofer dropped, NextGen said they would repair the damages, but 2 weeks and 4 followups later, nothing happened, I was instead compensated in cash. Additionally the roofers reused some old flashing, which was badly damaged - NextGen fixed this the next day. The siding was quite a bit worse. In tearing off the siding, a bunch of drip edge was damaged. After the job was done, it took 4 visits, and probably 10 phone calls to get them to resolve this. Furthermore, there was rotted sheathing which the siding crew said they replaced, but didn't - Despite this being necessary as a code upgrade. NextGen did fix this, but had I not been vigilant enough, I would never have known. Finally they were paid to remove and reuse my expense gutter covers. They couldn't do it and offered to replace it with "the same", instead they put on the cheap gutter covers you can get from Home Depot. They consistently lie. NextGen is an expensive contractor, so you expect a high level of service. This is not what I recieved, and beyond this, they very intentionally hid some of the lackluster work they did. If you are willing to argue with contractors, and know enough what to look for, you may wind up getting what you paid for, otherwise, I'd avoid NextGen.

We had a hail storm that damaged the roof and siding on our home. NextGen replaced the roof on our colonial plus the roof on our attached garage, front door overhang and sun room addition in one day. They also removed our old aluminum siding that had been dented by the hail and installed new vinyl siding in 3 days. Mike was especially helpful in leading us through the the process and working with our insurance. They did a great job. The house looks beautiful! I would highly recommend them.
