From start to finish, David came out and went over best options gave suggestions which turned out better than I imagined, went with me to pick out my slabs, the the install crew were so courteous and neat. Purchased a home in Mizner country club in June 2020 hired Eli and his partner Tony to remodel the home . I was a Detroit the whole summer and when I got back I discovered a few things they billed me.I paid them $15,000 for permits that they were never pulled from the county, when I started digging a little further, I found out that the flooring they charge me for 4000 ft.² I called the salesman and happy floor is the wholesaler and he looked up the purchase order and all they ever bought was 3000 square feet of that item I had a man come in with the laser and remeasure the home found out the master bathroom floor, and the square footage was doubled from what it is they demolished a few bathrooms that were not under a contract or change order and apply the $15,000 that I was charged for the permits to the two bathrooms even though there was a mistake they made. In all fairness another contractor estimated approximately 3000$ each to redo the two bathrooms We had a nice relationship until I found out there were not my friends. When I confronted him about the square footage, he said I had told him what it was. I was in Detroit the whole summer and that’s really their responsibility. They of course didn’t offer a refund.
In response to Eli statement the last time I asked him for anything was three years ago in their office when I pointed this out to them and they thought I was joking I have not asked for any money during a few conversations this year nor do I plan that. I want to point out that Eli admitted to me three years ago that he was remodeling without a contractors license, which can be a felony in West Palm Beach county All I did and all I intend to do is write a review and nothing more. I haven’t tried to force money or extort it. It’s a blatant lie. Please note and in his statement, he has not denied anything concerning our contract or the facts that I pointed out
This project was completed over 3 years ago, and this client just recently posted this review about the issue 2 days ago. This is the first we are hearing about this. We called him over the phone to discuss the issue, (We take every review seriously) but he was not complying at all. Not only that, but he also then began to ask for money for the review to be deleted and continued by saying that he was holding us hostage over this. As of right now we are contacting google about this issue as we believe this man is trying to extort money from us from a job that was over 3 years ago about an issue that is completely fabricated. We at New York Quartz pride ourselves on being honest and doing straight work, we take every client seriously and try to finish our work hard and with passion, and that is the reason our clients love us.
