My grandson Teddy has been going to little tigers for 3 years since he was 4. He loves it and looks forward to class every week. Master Featherstone clearly loves what he does and all of the kids adore him and Diane. The class helps guide them on the right path in life learning politeness and discipline among other things. The classes are educational as well as great fun and keeping them fit. Anyone new to the class is welcomed by everyone and soon becomes one of the family.
Brought my quiet fidgety little boy to meet Master Featherstone and Diane nearly 7 years ago. The best decision we ever made. A wonderful place for both children and adults to learn an amazing art. Friendly, warm, caring, fun, hard work and so rewarding.
It's not just a club our son attends it's a place he goes grow in ability, strength and confidence.
I'd recommend any parent not to hesitate sending your children to Netsda Marshall Arts.
I brought my shy , getting bullied at school and with no confidence daughter to meet Master Featherstone three years ago. Within minutes we knew this was the place to be. Master Featherstone and his lovely wife Diane immediately made us feel welcome and reassured us that everyone is treated with respect and that everyone is treated like family and he wasn’t wrong. My daughter is now a confident young lady. We are always made to feel welcome. The room has a wonderful atmosphere with lovely people. Master Featherstone and Diane always have a smile and a warm welcome for you. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to join. This is the club ❤️

My daughter, Mia, has been attending Little Tigers for the last 2 years, since she was 4. It is a fantastic place, Master Featherstone and his wife Diane run a wonderful Academy that is very clean, welcoming and friendly. The classes for the little ones are energetic and fun but also teach them life skills and behaviours such as stranger danger and looking out for each other. Its accurate to say the kids adore Master Featherstone and the feeling is mutual! Every Little Tiger is encouraged to try hard and do their best and Mia loves it. Highly recommended.
I've been at Netsda for almost 11 years. I joined when I was an anxious and shy 8 year old, and the academy has helped me get so much more confidence in myself and grow as a person. Its not just a place to train, its a place where you can feel welcome and be a part of a community. Every black belt is supportive and kind. Both Master Featherstone and Master Wilkinson care for each and every one of their students. If you ever needed help, they would be glad to give it. Joining Netsda was the best decision I've made and I would highly recommend signing up, no matter your age.
I'm a Tang Soo Do instructor from the Midlands and NETSDA is one of only a handful of clubs that I regularly visit. Master Featherstone and his wife, Diane, run a fabulous, professional club with students I'd be proud to see on our mats. The building is spotless, the facilities excellent and the first thing that strikes you is the level of respect and discipline within the people there. They train hard, they train well and the club has a great family atmosphere. You won't find better than NETSDA in the north of England!

The change in my son when he started little tigers was amazing. He became so much better at listening, More respectful and just generally better behaved. Little tigers teaches children how be disciplined and how to listen to instruction. The classes also gave my son so much more confidence than he once had. My daughter is now a member too, and both of them absolutely love their weekly classes here. There’s a real sense of camaraderie between the class, master Charlie, Diane and us parents. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend little tigers to anyone!
I started Tang Soo Do back in 2009 as a very shy, unconfident 21 year old. I planned on just trying it out knowing in my head that I wouldn't stick to it, I would lose interest and I just wouldn't be able to do it being overweight and lacking any fitness whatsoever. Fast forward to 12 years later- I'm still here, still loving it and not only have I achieved what I thought I couldn't- I'm much more confident in myself. This not only shows in Tang Soo Do but also in my career and my life outside of Tang Soo Do. It has given me so much more than I ever thought it would. We have a great academy where everyone is like family. We build each other up and we support each other through difficulties. I'm so proud to now be able to say that my little boy has become a Little Tiger in the past year and his development and increase in confidence has been amazing, he loves his class and looks forward to this every week! I know he is going to have the most amazing journey in Tang Soo, just like his Mummy has!
I’ve been training at the academy for almost 4 years and it is the best decision that I made.
I joined while on maternity leave wanting to get fit and to learn how to defend my self if necessary. I’ve achieved both of these goals and I still have a long way to go on my journey.
Master Featherstone and the Dans are amazing instructors and everyone is so supportive. We have all had a ‘day 1’ when we didn’t know what to expect or thought that we couldn’t do it. But we did do it (and still are doing it) and so can you!
My daughter and I started at the academy over two years ago. We wanted a physical activity we could do together in a safe environment and this has been perfect. The training sessions and gradings teach you respect and discipline and are great fun too. The academy has a welcoming, family friendly atmosphere. Master Featherstone is a brilliant instructor and the Dans are always happy to help too. Highly recommended for kids and grown ups!

My son Charlie has been attending for over four years, he started out as a Little Tiger and has moved into the Family Class. This is an excellent school which my son really enjoys. Everyone is made to feel so welcome. The teachers are top class too! My son has learnt so much respect
and discipline from them and hopes one day to earn his black belt.
My son Jay has been a member of the academy for 6 years. He has progressed to second Dan and really enjoys classes and training. The academy teaches so much more than Tang Soo Do. It teaches respect, discipline, time keeping and loyalty, all whilst having fun and making friends. It has really helped with his confidence too. I would highly recommend the academy to anyone.
NOT JUST A HOBBY!- after 5 years of training in many skills , including how to fall correctly, I have no doubt that following my daughter being hit by a car last night- her training , in how to fall and protecting her head saved her from very serious injury. Her Dad has taken her to Netsda 2 or 3 nights for last 5 years, I cannot recommend this training, discipline and skill more. Thank you ??
