They Deserve All This Praise Seriously, know what you're signing up for and if you want eco-conscious, peace and quiet, then book this place. If you want access to a vibrant city, or have high demands on what a room offers you, then go somewhere else. Pros: My god these rooms are private. We stayed in Laja, and wow. I've done bungalow stays at other places in other countries but no one has it laid out better than this resort. The stone in the rooms everywhere is stunning, the high thatched roofs are beautiful, we had working AC, and the hot water button was a nice eco-friendly touch. I had a good sized mini fridge for my groceries, and even though I was the farthest bungalow from the beach, we could get there in 2 minutes. The beach was great! Lots of beach chairs, rocky areas are really neat to explore too! It felt like I was never sharing the resort with more than 3 other groups at a time given how well spaced out everything is! The pool has maybe 33% shaded and I'm not a good swimmer so I loved going for a swim in here to break the heat mid-day rather than try my luck in the ocean. No idea why there's so many deck chairs, but I was thrilled to normally be the only person sitting out there when hiding from peak sun. The breakfasts were all delicious, and it was so fun to try something new each day all included. The one night we decided to have supper here was with fantastic food and I loved every bit of it and worth the price. Finally the support from everyone serving was fantastic. Front desk, email support, restaurant support.... I know zero spanish besides "gracias" and I never had a problem here. Personal dislikes (not enough to knock a star off my review) - The bed is a bit creaky/rickety - I had a moderately sized pitcher for water (1.5L perhaps?) so I had to make frequent trips to the front desk. - WiFi kept dropping, but I only used it for emails and checking sports scores so it wasn't a big inconvenience - Breakfast has music playing through the speakers. I'm trying to be considerate of the workers that aren't there for the relaxation, but my preference is just let the birds and waves be your soundboard over breakfast. - I really wanted a hammock on my balcony, haha

Perfection Natura Cabana is such a beautiful place to stay .The color of the ocean is incredible , love the big waves . Walking on this beach was just perfect for us , we enjoyed every minutes and we took so many pictures .People working there are amazing, great service , nice staff. We will be back for sure , we loved our room , so romantic . We also enjoyed a lot the two delicious restaurants , nice free breakfast « ocean front « . Thank you for your hospitality . Wish I could have stayed longer! Travelled with a friend and spent a week at Natura cabana. Ideally situated in Perla Marina between Sosua and Cabarete, it offers tranquility and great walking paths while offering close proximity to the towns and walking to the mercado for beers and snacks. The two bdrm bungalow near the pool was very clean and comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. The ocean there is a bit rough but great if you enjoy playing in the waves. Only 12 bungalows nestled in a private residential area meant you could easily carve out a quiet place for yourself on the beach at the hotel or on nearby almost deserted beaches. Did a few excursions: hired Max, taxi driver, who took us to Puerto Plata for the day, did SUP with Rugama Tours on the quiet river and ate a sumptuous lunch there and went into Cabarete for an afternoon to watch the kite surfers and partake in happy hour! We did one morning yoga class which we totally enjoyed. Breakfast and lunch were both really good, the coffee delicious. We also enjoyed the pizza at the Ceiba Cafe, a short walk away. The staff are amazing and dedicated and will go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your vacation. Highly recommend this place! :)
