National General is so horrible it makes me want to cry. If I could go back and kick myself before getting involved with them I would... kick myself in the face. They created a policy under my name, I had no idea and now that I want to cancel the make it impossible. I wish this company could seize to exist because they do not help anyone. I am so frustrated with their customer service. I have repeatedly sent them documents to cancel this policy and they are dragging it out. They keep asking for a valid Policy number and I provide them with the policy number they provivded me and they keep saying it is not valid. I have even provided them with their own document containing a policy number and they keep just asking for a valid one. Makes no sense. I HATE THEM SO SO MUCH.

Complete ********. I sign over to national general leaving my old insurance provider for lower cost only for them to raise it 100$ kore the next month! So I cancelled my insurance, I have the cancellation papers and still they are trying to charge me 300+ for insurance I do not have through them! Please be aware do not use these guys complete scam and waste of time and raised stress through the rough hope this helps someone ???

Toxic Environment Pros:Remote Opportunity Pays for Licensing which helped me change my life Great benefits - health dental pto etc. Company backed by Allstate Cons:Constant threats of termination Terrible compensation on commission- I would use this position to get your license and maybe get some experience and then jump ship to find better opportunities that pay better because THEY ARE OUT THERE!!!! The management will constantly belittle you and threaten you because you are just a number to them. Also don't have kids in your house because even if you have a baby sitter or a husband at home to watch them, they will still threaten your job! Advice to Management:Treat your employees like actual humans.... instead of numbers. Out of a class of 60 in total, only 10 employees still remain? What does that tell you.... If you worked with your employees on training and trained them properly you would probably keep them and they would work HARDER for you.......

I had an accident. I didn't called the police, I called a towing service. Weather was bad. I took the car home. When I made my claim to them, I told them I hadn't called police. They asked, how was the accident? I told them to avoid hitting another car I hit a tree. They asked a lot of questions since I didn't had a police report. They asked if I had underage people living in my household. I have two. A 8 year old and a 15 year old. The Accident happened in September 28th. My son had turned 15 at the beginning of September. They without my consent, they added him to the policy insurance. He doesn't drive because he doesn't have permit or age to drive. The policy change they did without my permission went from $1,100 to $1,700. When I called to ask why they did that, they told me, they were going to transfer me to someone else. And what they did was to hang up on me. They paid me my car, but they took way too long about 2 months to be exact. That's why I canceled my policy with them. They didn't had to put my kid in the policy without my consent because he is under my care and I won't let him drive without him having a permit. To this day he hasn't gotten a permit. I would've been paying $600 extra for nothing.

National General is an absolutely terrible insurance company. Under no circumstance to they ever actually insure you. Only if theyre forced to work, will they help you with your claim. On every accident Ive had with them, I had to argue it myself. In some cases they tried to make me pay sums of money I didnt have to pay and when I escalated the dispute they ruled in my favor. They are nearly impossible to reach via phone line and they are rude with customer service. This is the worst ********************** Ive ever had to deal with and they should be investigated.

National general has been the worst insurance related company I have ever dealt with. My rates were pushed to double the competitions prices. By the time I finally switched to ********** I was paying upwards of $350/month for a single vehicle. The process of canceling the coverage was awful, due to the less than lovely service from *****. She was impatient, short fused, and mumbled during the whole conversation. Overall disappointing experience !!!AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Find Something Else Pros:Good insurance- amazing team- PTO time Cons:Management could care less about you, the pay is HORRIBLE, Overworked to the max- no work/ life balance at all Advice to Management:When you have someone that is out on a short term leave for 5 months- please do not expect them to come back and jump right back into the swing of things.

This company would not give us what our car was actually worth. *****, the agent we had to work with was rude and argued with us about our car. We had a 2012 Camry SE and he would only agree to give us the price he quoted for a BASE MODEL CAMRY!! Our car had more features but ***** wouldnt listen. Nobody ever came out to look at the car in person, so how does anyone know what we had. This accident was in a PARKING LOT! The client totaled our car in a parking lot while we were in the car. We are also having medical issues created by this accident. COMPLETELY 100% the clients fault. ***** argued over giving us a rental car also. We had to turn in the rental car before we could replace our totaled car. We can definitely see why this company is not BBB accredited. BEWARE IF YOU HAVE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! You WILL get screwed over.
