The food is good but they waited until we ordered to tell us there is no dine-in, even though they weren’t closed yet (40 minutes from closing time). It’s fine if you want to leave early, but don’t wait until people spend their money to try and kick them out in the dead of winter - where would we eat the food we just bought? We would’ve spent our money elsewhere. They already packed away the sauces and didn’t bring any with our items
This place is a NYC hole in the wall hidden gem. The food is so good and truly a delicacy of China’s finest cuisine. The bokchoy, beef noodle soups, and wontons are amazing!
I was on my way to a different food spot when I saw this on the way. Decided to give it a try. I got the sesame chicken and the wonton in sauce. But I would have to say that I was disappointed as the reviews looked promising. The food seemed too salty and did not seem to have a good balance to it. and the chicken seemed to be rather basic and chunky. The atmosphere was great, so was the service. They were very kind.

My absolute favorite dumplings in New York. I visit the one in the East village all the time but today I was trying to stay in Brooklyn. Website and door says they are open til 10, but when I got there at just before 9, they told me they could only do take out. Wish I could've stayed and enjoyed my dumplings hot.

I guess it depends on the time of day that you go there to eat.. if you're taking out, you have to order by kiosks and wait for your food, and the same goes for eating in.. it depends.. sometimes you can order at the counter, and sometimes they will ask you to order at the kiosks.. Depends..

As a local who has ordered from this place before, I’m beyond disappointed by the experience I had with a staff member named Ricky yesterday morning 11/2/2025. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a side-eye instead of a greeting. I came into this restaurant expecting decent service and all I received was the feeling that I’m not welcomed. When I asked a simple question about my order—because it was taking forever—his response was dismissive & unprofessional like he had no interest in servicing me. Meanwhile, a group of customers who happened to be of the same descent as him came in and were met with warmth, smiles, and full customer service energy. The difference in energy was undeniable. No one should walk into a restaurant and feel unwelcome or experience treatment that carries clear tones of racism. It completely ruined my appetite and left a terrible impression. I’m tired of seeing this type of behavior in my own community & don’t plan to spend another dollar at this restaurant.

Extremely disappointed. The food was awful — the udon was overcooked, the chicken barely existed, and everything was drowned in a terrible-tasting sauce. The soup smelled bad, had just a few bok choy stems, and the beef was fatty and impossible to chew. Way too expensive for such poor quality. I even felt stomach discomfort afterward. Never coming back.
