I was there last Sunday after the Nora En Pure concert...the place looks descent...the coat check, drinks, sound and lighting was good...the only thing I notice was pieces of glass on the floor and even saw a broke. Bottle which definitely can ruined anybody' night..besides that...I would comeback any given day.

If youâre planning a night at Musica NYC, hereâs what to know upfront:
The rooftop is the real MVP. Itâs the one spot where you can cool off, make a call, have a quick convo, or just breathe. Trust â youâll need it.
Once youâre downstairs, it gets scorching real fast. The dance floor is tight and compact, and when the musicâs good (which it usually is), it packs out quick. Think sardine can vibes. Not much space to move, no real airflow â and if youâre sensitive to heat or need personal space to enjoy a set, this might throw you off.
The rooftop also doubles as a smoke spot, so if thatâs your thing, itâs a plus
That said, I feel like this applies to any venue in NYC: be aware of your surroundings. If youâre going out, bring people you trust. A group of friends always makes the night better and safer.
While I was here, I caught someone trying to pickpocket me. A woman was moving through the crowd at a diagonal angle, hands way too close to peopleâs pockets. My reflexes kicked in â I grabbed her arm, and she just kept walking like nothing happened. Youâve got to stay alert. If someoneâs brushing past you or acting sketchy, keep your hands on your pockets and stay on guard. Thereâs no reason anyoneâs hands should be near your body like that on a packed floor.
Unfortunately, that wasnât the only red flag.
I went to buy a water bottle near the coat check â the bar thatâs right after you climb the steep entrance stairs. Water costs $10, and I didnât have cash, so I used my card. The bartender, a woman with black hair and glasses, didnât hand me the card reader. Instead, she turned her back to me and asked me to say my PIN number out loud.
I told her, âIâll enter it myself,â and her mood shifted immediately. She slammed the water bottle back into the ice bucket and flung my card back, saying, âWell, I guess youâre not having water today.â
Thatâs not normal behavior â and definitely not safe. I can imagine someone who isnât level-headed (drunk, high, or just not paying attention) being easily manipulated into giving up sensitive card info. I wouldnât be surprised if this has happened to others. Itâs a major security concern, and I sincerely hope sheâs no longer working there.
Also, a quick note: the stairs leading into the venue are steep. If youâre dizzy, not feeling well, or intoxicated, itâs not the easiest climb. Be mindful of that before entering.

If you want room to breathe and actually enjoy the music without feeling claustrophobic, Iâd recommend Knockdown Center. It used to be a glass factory, so itâs got tons of open space, and you can actually choose where to stand and enjoy the show.
1 star doesnât do this place justice- it deserves less. The ambience is beyond terrible, nobody is dancing because everything is over priced. A regular beer is $18 so everyone is sober & bored. Not to mention the staff is so so rude & make the experience so miserable you never want to step foot into the establishment before you even get in. Fix it immediately. Yâall SAVE YOUR TIME & $$$ OMGGGG
