365Moves took care of my move in Pinelands Cape Town and I was very impressed with the Team. They were professional , on time and in contact with me and had all my stuff moved within no time. Absolutely the best moving experience we've had so far! And we move a lot! Very professional, efficient and careful with all our belongings. Super friendly staff and we'd like to thank Craig, Mike, Tawanda, Talent and Reginald personally. YOU GUYS WERE AMAZING!! As a bonus, they even helped us move a large potted plant that wasn't even part of the deal.
Firstly my compliments to the moving team. They were very friendly and helpful. The issue was with the dent damage to my fridge which management “categorically denies” was caused by the moving team even after I sent before and after pictures. The agreement was that my fridge/freezer would be box-wrapped but it was only covered in bubble wrap and shrink-wrap, which they maintain offers better protection than box wrapping – I disagree. My husband was present with the unpacking and indicated the dent to them but said that he would confirm it with me, which I subsequently confirmed and e-mailed the photos to management. I only got a response from them 2 weeks later after I followed up the damage report. Management inspected my fridge and then denied that they damaged it stating that there were already “+ - 20 dents and multiple scratches and abrasive marks too”. I of course am aware of the other minor damage, which is not nearly as severe as the one they caused, and much lower on the fridge so that it is hidden by the counter. The minor damage is the reason I am aware that the fridges damage easily and therefore the reason I asked for additional protection for the fridges during the move. I am also not sure how existing damage indemnifies them from taking responsibility for that which they caused. I was also informed that I am the first customer to report a damaged fridge. Again, I am not sure why this is relevant, there is always a first time and this point is a little mute since they actually admitted to breaking off the bottom plastic part of the fridge (maybe this incident is when they dented it as well?). The bottom part is likely too obvious to deny and cheap and easy to fix - they indicated to us we could fix ourselves or they would order us a spare part. I am sure they will continue to “categorically deny” responsibility on the review platforms as well but as I have nothing to gain from this review apart from warning potential customers, there would be no reason for me to add a bad review, especially since the moving team was a pleasure to work with. They state that they have adequate transit insurance but this is not helpful if they “profusely deny” causing the damage in the first place. Please consider carefully before you enlist their services.
Even though I can only rate 365 moves with 5 star service, they deserve 10 stars! Justin, your team is awesome, very helpful, careful and they go the extra mile. Moving is stressful, let's not lie, but 365 Moves takes every step to the next destination with you, making every bit of moving from one place to another, the easiest, most convenient and less stressful way I could have ever imagined. I had to move my furniture out of my home in 1 hour, and guess what!? 365 Moves delivered! They arrived on time, VERY early, and his team moved my furniture in no time! Thank you for making my move the most convenient stress free ever! I can 200% recommend 365 Moves. Well done guys! You are considered super heroes!
