DO NOT SELL YOUR CAR TO THESE PEOPLE ITS A SCAM. I was told they hold £500 back until they receive your V5 they received this a week ago and I was called to take details for payment which was never received. I called back to advise I've not received it Damon on the phone told me I should've received this took my details again and will be with me by 6pm Friday. 5 days later I still do not have the payment now no one is answering my calls. They also offer you a price and then bargain you down. They told me because there's 'not many cars like yours with low mileage' they can't offer the initial price it's a complete scam so DO NOT sell your car with these cowboys.
Jamie and this company have totally unscrupulous behaviour of making a deal, getting the paperwork in still agreeing the same price, then going silent for a couple of days and then reducing the offer is the ultimate is lack of integrity and decency. I sold 718 HVD / HR21 WKT to TCBG who were super easy, honest and gave me the 5 figure sum i hoped for. Classless crowd.
Super easy, fast and great service with car collected within 24 hours. Spoke with Sam and Tony over the phone who made the process easy to complete through sending a few photos and documents. They even managed to offer over the valuation price I’d been offered from another company.
Dean collected the vehicle the next day explained everything he needed to do and ensured I was happy and had received funds before leaving.
Sam Tony and Dean were all really friendly and helpful would recommend this company!
Please do not use this company, I have no idea where these other reviews have come from but they can’t be from real people! I contacted motordough about selling my car, initially I spoke to one person and he asked me to send documents and pictures over of the car, which I did. He then called me back and said they need my v5c and a video of the engine, by this point I was away for the weekend so thought I’d do it on my return. They hounded me on the phone, at one point I looked at my phone and I had had 4 missed calls from them. When I got home I sent the documents over and videos and they offered me a price which I was happy with. Collection date was given and as I work I arranged with a family member for them to be there for the collection. As soon as the guy turned up he made a comment to him about how the car had had a paint job to the front bumper. He called me and I said no, it’s never been touched. I then get a call from the company saying that the workshop had said it looked like it had been in an accident and there had been paint work, therefore they could not offer me the amount agreed. I have had the car since it was brand new from the factory and it has never been in an accident where the bonnet needed spraying. It’s a scam, please do not waste your time!

Brilliant from start to finish
Really clear and quick over the phone. Got an initial quote. Then sent pictures and history etc and got a an improved quote. Next day, the 2 lads came and collected the car - couple or great blokes. Cash was in my account within 20 minutes of them arriving. Definitely recommend

Great communication throughout.
Ask for pictures and a short video of the car running literally takes 10 minutes to complete after they give you a price. When coming to collect they investigate more also use a diagnostic machine. After there checks you have a phone call about the final price then payment, Unfortunately for me i had some hidden issues so ended up getting less then what originally was qouted, a bit disappointed but apart from that it was straight forward.
After receiving my quote I sent a message via WhatsApp asking to deal with everything over text as I have quite bad anxiety on the phone which they were more than happy to do. Super super friendly. Congratulated me on my pregnancy, quoted me over WhatsApp and on collection did a quick inspection with no haggling and money was paid before they drove away. 10/10 experience and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you so much!
I didn’t end up selling my car to Motordough in the end but I had a great experience nonetheless!
I spoke to Sam who gave me a really good price after seeing photos and videos of my car, much better than most of the part ex quotes I was given and WBAC.
The valuation was guaranteed, valid for a week and pick up would be within 24 hours. I just needed to find a new car.
I was ready to sell but at the last minute I received a great deal at the dealership I was buying my new car from to hit targets on the last day of the month. So this was through no fault of Motordough’s - I would definitely get a quote next time I’m looking to sell/part ex.
I have just completed a sale to Motordough,and I can honestly say I have never experienced such a smooth, honest and reliable service in all my years of motoring and selling cars, i have sold cars to we buy any car and motorway, they are not a patch on motordough.I was dealing with Damon all the way through, who was courteous, friendly and professional from start to finish, and guided me through every step. After the car was inspected, and before it was driven away, Damon was on the phone making sure I was paid before he allowed the car to be taken.
