Buyer Beware Mortgage One Inc. engaged in deceptive and unethical lending practices throughout my home purchase. I was pressured into proceeding without a proper inspection, misled about loan terms, and given an appraisal that drastically misrepresented the home’s true condition. The lender failed to disclose critical property defects, mismanaged escrow funds, and left me financially vulnerable. Their negligence has caused significant financial strain, unexpected repair costs, and even foreclosure risk. I strongly urge consumers to be cautious and seek a lender with transparency and integrity.

I give this company a 1 out of 10. I currently am not the one getting a mortgage from the company. The buyer is. The buyer, both realtors and I have been trying to close on my house for 3.5 months. I simply reached out and asked where we were at in the process and was told that I am not entitled to information due to the fact I am the seller. I am shocked by this, my finances are on the line the same as a buyer and I am told I am not entitled to see what is going on with a transaction which I am involved in. Meanwhile, I have 1,000s of dollars on the line for my new house which is contingent on this one closing and they do not care. I was told my realtor would give me updates throughout the process but my realtor is not even updated. The corporate office has fumbled so many things within the file and tried to make up excuses that they were so backed up in transactions and that I should appreciate what there doing for me lol. This company is completely a joke, please save yourself the headaches and go with a reputable company when buying a home.

Tim Jacobs team at Mortgage One is thee absolute best!!!!! Kept me calm and relaxed, was very professional, efficient and caring kept in constant communication, which is very hard to come by now a days! First mortgage on my own. A couple of weeks it was a clear to close, which was such a relief. Even before my marital home was sold Mr. Jacobs was calling to see how everything was going and offered his assistance if anything was needed, personal touch was greatly appreciated, definitely goes way above and beyond for us! Absolutely the worst financial mistake I’ve ever made in my life is to go with these people, they make everything so difficult, I have a loan with them for the past 14 months, and I am living in hell, everything has to be so complicated, everything needs to be in writing, and I have to go to the post office to send letters, it looks they still live in the 18 century!
