Flat fee agency is truly the way of the future and Melissa does it best! Pay for the full service option and get everything you would receive from a traditional real estate agent. I appreciated the support from Melissa, while still feeling in full control of the selling of my property. And my house was under contract in a week!

Best realtor I have ever worked with, and I have worked with many. Very responsive, excellent communication both with me and potential buyers. Initially, I was a little comprehensive about flat fee realtors, as I was worried about missing potential buyers without buyers agents. Melissa made the process work without a hitch and I ended up selling to a buyer without buyer's agent. Total saving 6%. I would definitely use Melissa again when the time comes.

If you are looking for "good service" or "over and above service" DO NOT USE Modern Way Realty. Even though I communicated months prior to the expiration of my timeframe (and not even thinking I was up against an expiration date at that point) I couldn't get photos due to the severe weather happening in that area (Upper Michigan) she would not budge. I can drive 6 hours for photos only at certain times of the year due to my situation. I was struggling with the home repairs due to various reasons so I couldn't get photos and now that I have the photos I have to pay all over again. Once I sent her the money the first time she was pretty much useless after that. I'm sad that people think they can take your money and do nothing for you. Contract or not. I feel I had a special situation which sometimes should be modified to make it work for both parties. Not with this agent. Beware!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I wanted to address your concerns as I feel that some of them are slightly misleading. I don't think this is intentional on your part, I just wanted to ensure that I clarify them for future clients.

Ms. DeMura signed up for a flat fee listing on 08/10/2021. The listing agreement was for one year and expired on 08/10/2022. I did a comparable market analysis for her the day she signed up and took care of all the paperwork and sent everything to her to sign electronically. She contacted me several times with questions and advice which I answered right away. The only thing left for her to do was send me the photos for her listing then it could be listed on the MLS. She told me she lived out of state and would send me the photos when she had a chance to go to the property in Michigan. On 10/14/2021 she sent me an email and said “I'm finally at the property taking the final photos. I plan to have them ready for you by Wednesday of next week. Thank you so very much!”. I didn’t hear back from her until 15 months later on 01/09/2023. I let her know that her contract had expired on 08/10/2022 and if she wanted to list her property, she would have to re-sign up and start the process from the beginning.

I strive to provide my clients with the best possible service. I do hope you are able to find an agent that is better suited to your needs and preferences and I wish you all the best.
