I couldn't get done what I needed online. Took a week to get a call in. A couple of days the customer service lines were "down" then it was 20 minute hold times. Finally got a person. I asked to cancel Home Smart, thought it would take ages, took two minutes, prompt and knowledgeable service, it just took ages and frustrations to get there.

Called on a Friday for an issue with my dishwasher. Representative couldn’t find our account and was very rude. Told me I would receive a call next business day. Monday has come and gone with no call back. Not the first time this unresponsiveness has happened.

I didn't know if I would ever use this, but I did. My furnace stopped working on a thursday. Called right away at 7am. Dude that helped me on the phone wasn't the nicest. But KB service called me back about an hour and a half later and got someone over later that afternoon. Sean came. He was awesome. Figured out what was wrong with it. They needed to order part and told me Monday. I went and got some space heaters and waited the 3 days. On Monday kb service called me back, and said they were sending ado out. Again. He was super awesome as well and got my furnace up and running! Not sure if I should be leaving review for homesmart or kb.

Edit-They can reply to a negative review, but cannot contact me? They also give out your information to other companies to call you for quotes. They are a Scam as you can see. No notes were left that anyone could read and they still haven’t called back to explain anything. Save the money you would put into this to have someone that does honest work! KB services who is working for Homesmart red tagged me without telling me information needed. They told me to call Xcel. Xcel then tells me they should've given me info on what to do from there. They then setup several more tickets and day without showing up or calling. Xcel or homesmart could’ve cared less if we froze. I’ll be dropping them. No need to pay them if they won’t do what they say. Had someone else do the work with no problem. They are a scam

Thank you for notifying us of your concerns. We understand how important heating is in the winter. When a customer’s unit is red tagged, additional information is typically noted on the tag. We deeply apologize if the reasoning as to why it was red tagged was not properly communicated. Our service provider found a high CO reading from the 32-year-old unit. As a standard procedure, the furnace was red tagged. In addition, when a heat exchanger goes out, it is automatically recommended that the entire unit be replaced. We’re happy to hear your unit is now running, but our processes are followed with your safety in mind. Feel free to reach out if you have additional questions on this matter.

Im still waiting for my “48 hour call back to schedule” 9 days later and it’s -7 degrees outside. I requested service for my boiler and got ghosted.

While some people have had negative experiences, I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Homesmart in the 2 years i’ve been enrolled in the program. I had two instances where I had to contact Homesmart regarding my furnace. Each time, I was reached out the next day and able to get a technician out in either same day or next day. The technicians were either able to fix the issue same day or order the part needed for replacement to fix it in under a week. Definitely recommend this to protect your home applicanes

This is the FIRST time I am hearing the screen shots of the order were not enough proof. This customer service is a JOKE. Looking back we do see that you previously mailed a physical copy of the needed info, but unfortunately never received it. We appreciate you following up via emails, but in order to process Replacement Assistance claims we do need a copy of the paid receipt along with the model and serial number. What we’ve received is an order summary with delivery info, but not an actual proof of purchase. We’re also missing the model and serial number.
