Awesome hotel. Very unique

We have just returned from a two day getaway in the charming town of Stratford. This was our first time staying at this charming & historic guestroom. The inn's location is within walking distance to all locations in downtown Stratford. Apparently, Thomas Edison lived in this location in 1832. The inn pays homage to Edisons with various murals and the suite has Edison bulbs in various light fixtures. This has been our best hotel experience ever!

We were so happy with our stay at Edison's Inn. Unique, most comfortable and very clean. The room we booked was the music room. Spacious and relaxing!! Great location also. We walked everywhere. Highly recommend.

We loved it. We stayed in the Celebration Room in the Perth County Inn building and it was lovely. My friends were in the Courtside Room. You know how some places simply "have that thing". Well, this is one of those places. And the Town of Stratford is an absolute gem - especially if you are a drinkie & a foodie. We will be back! In fact, I'm am skipping over to my calendar right now to plan our next visit.

This is a wonderful, unique, and great place to stay! It is in a great location, between downtown and the park. Bruce and the staff were amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

This was by far the most delightful hotel stay I’ve ever had! Not only is the inn itself absolutely stunning, clean, warm, and inviting, but the staff if absolutely phenomenal. On several different occasions I was delighted by the friendly, positive, and generous attitude of the Edison inn Staff. Bruce was a delight to talk to, and when we had a small misunderstanding with the room we were staying in, he offered us a discount, and two complimentary cocktails at their lovely upscale cocktail bar. So looking forward to staying again. We will be coming here for our second honey moon for sure! Love, Rachel & Ryan

We have been staying here for a few years now for birthday celebrations and absolutely love it here! So warm and cozy, feels like home ❤ The service and communication is wonderful and they make you feel special! Thank you for beautiful memories here!

We stayed at the Edison Inn in early June when everything was still closed. To start with this Inn felt more like an AirBnB than a hotel. No need to wait in a line…the owner sends a text the morning of check-in with everything you would need such as a door code to get into the building and the room, as well as parking and other info. Something important to note is that there is no elevator and there are a good amount of stairs; just to keep in mind if attending with anyone with a physical disability! It was very wam outside but the room was nice and cool, even with it being on the upper level. We stayed in the Music Room (I think that’s what it was called), The decor was well thought out and very unique. There was a large TV mounted on the wall, wifi, a mini fridge that they stocked with chilled water in a glass jar. Then there were small touches such as wine glasses, umbrellas, blankets, shampoo/soap, etc. The only things I felt were missing was shelving to put clothing on, there is a boudoir where you can hang a few items but the shelving all had extra linens on it so there wasn’t any space for clothing. And secondly….coffee! However, directly under the Inn is Edison’s Coffee Shop but since this was during the lockdown, it was closed (we were also there mid-week). To sort of make up for this I think, the owner gave us coffee on him at the VERY nearby Cafe Bouffon (which I also recommend…specifically the cinnamon roll-looking danish - tastes better than it looks even!). I have no actually complaints - it was a wonderful getaway and I look forward to returning now that the city is returning to normal.

We stayed at Edison's Perth County Inn. Tastefully decorated, stunningly gorgeous views, and perfectly situated! That's just the start ... You'll sleep like a baby on Edison's magnificent beds and pillows. I've NEVER rested so well! 💤 The chairs in our room were comfortable and chillaxing. SO cozy and relaxing. Clean and simple with Wi-Fi and a smart TV to kick back in the eves. Stratford, even in Stage I, didn't disappoint. The lake activities, the food (Bentley's is a MUST!), the strolls, the gardens ... I wish we had more time. The owner and staff at the downstairs cocktail bar were great and accommodating. Thank you, Brendan and Bruce! You have a Gem in a Gem. Perfection and Five STARS! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Was overall a great stay. Rooms are super cute and well decorated. Had a little hiccup with the tv, but communication was great, and he sent someone out to check on tv quickly. Location is amazing. Right downtown near all the restaurants and theatres. Walking distance to the lake and Shakespeare garden. Only thing to improve: cleanliness, some spots of room were a bit dusty, and towels had a little stain on them. Overall great stay. If ever in Stratford, I’d go back and check out another room here.

I can't say enough good about this hotel. Found it to be very clean and reasonable priced. Location is perfect right in the heart of Stratford. We stayed in the "Music Room", which was a conversation piece of its own. The owner Bruce was unbelievable with answering questions and providing suggestions. This didn't bother us at all, but there is no elevator, so be cautious if injured or carrying something heavy, as the stairs may be daunting. I will definitely be returning to this hotel when coming back to Stratford. Thanks again Bruce for your wonderful hospitality!!

Very nifty place to stay right alone the river in Stratford. The high ceilings and unique decor really give the place some personality. The room could have been a little cleaner but otherwise the stay way awesome.

Great host and funky rooms. Need to find something to do? Ask Bruce. So many things to see and do, or just hang around the river watching the swans.

Absolutely wonderful environment,,large modern rooms,clean inexpensive with waterfront views and wonderful shops , walking paths all around,,really a hidden gem in downtown Stratford !!

Gorgeous room, impeccably clean, quiet, convenient and close to everything great view, comfortable sleeping.

Immaculate, chic and spacious with plenty of nice touches that makes Edison's Inn a must-stay. Easy access with great customer service right in the heart of Stratford. Stayed in the Music Room. As an added bonus, being a history nut, pretty damn cool staying where Edison lived. Will absolutely stay at Edison's Inn every time I visit Stratford.

We stayed at Edison room. A historic and beautifully designed area. Bruce, the owner was kind to leave a box of chocolates in the room upon our arrival. Check-in and out procedures are convenient. Password entrance makes it a lot easier.
