I’m very happy with the way Mitchells handled my move. Both the office staff and the guys doing the actual move were helpful, good natured and extremely efficient. I was amazed how quickly they got everything packed up, and would recommend them to anyone moving home.

I used Mitchells to clear my parents' house prior to sale. They are a very easy company to communicate with; very efficient. The team they sent worked like Trojans and were also easy to get on with. Would definitely recommend.

They turned up when they said they would and did the job efficiently and cheerfully.

Recently used Mitchells Moving Company for a local house move. Visited at home by one of their staff who surveyed our home, took details of our requirements and then provided a quote. Quote very reasonable so we chose them. Three guys turned up promptly on the day of our move. They were very friendly, helpful and took a lot of the strain out of the process. Met us at destination and unloaded quickly and put all boxes and furniture where we initially wanted them. Plumbed in washing machine for us which was a worry for us. Staff very respectful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mitchells if you are planning a move.

Furniture came back scratched and sofa was a little damaged

Great service from Mitchells from the initial quote through to packing, removal and move to storage. All of the team were professional, helpful and communicated with me at key points in the move to keep me informed of progress and next steps. I was so impressed with the packing and moving part from Mitchells that I signed up for carpet cleaning. Great team. Highly recommend.

Good and efficient service. Would have been 5 stars if they had brought the packing materials for the mirrors and pictures that we had to pack ourselves last minute.

What can I say a great service. Exchange was left to the last minute and Jeff and the girls in the office did there best to fit us in 24 hours before moving day. On the big day the boys turned up nice and prompt and got the job done, what more can I say

I recently used Mitchell’s for house clearance, removals & storage. It was a seamless process! The guys were very helpful & found no fault with the service they offered. In what is generally known as one of the most stressful days…I was able to laugh! Thank you!

Best piece of moving process. Both patient and flexible in the buildup, and friendly and efficient on the day of the move. Always supportive and one of the few that offer a comprehensive service, although you can chose which components you want to use. Can't recommend highly enough.

Don't use. Rude, aggresive and abusive towards the property management company on site who politely asked them to not park on a communal garden.

Driver of a Mitchells van just seen in Balham, navigating corners with one hand on the wheel, his phone in his other hand. Cyclists pedestrians and other vehicles on the road. Not good enough!

Worth their weight in gold!

Removal men on the day were great, however, the management team were extremely poor. They misquoted the amount of space needed on the lorry and for storage by half. I was expected to pay the extra (£400+) during the stressful time of putting my belongings into storage. During a telephone call, I asked for another quote to remove my goods from the storage into a flat, I was told that they would e-mail me the quote, however, it's been over 2 weeks, and I've not received anything. Extremely poor service!
