Great job moving us yesterday. Very professional, friendly and polite. Worked hard for 5 hours (a "walk" job involving multiple stair trips), fuelled only by a couple of cold drinks and a few biscuits. Tony, Harry and Jack went above and beyond; dismantling a wardrobe to get it up the stairs and even helped connect up our washing machine. Recommended.
We recently posted on social media looking for help transporting a large donation of vivariums from Medway to our location in Sheppey. Mitchell’s Moving Company kindly reached out to us and generously offered to handle the move for just the cost of fuel, simply to support our rescue.
We are incredibly grateful for their time, kindness, and willingness to help. Their team was professional throughout and took great care in handling and transporting the vivariums safely.

They arrived at the time they were supposed to and managed to get all our furniture and bits in the van, with no damage or scratches, even a few very heavy pieces like our large fish tank! Everyone was very friendly and professional.

Had a good quote to move a hot and gazebo. Removers were good, but when we got the other end I was told that it was a bigger job than expected and the price was more. I was told that if I did not pay the extra the hot tub would be taken to the yard until the extra was paid. In a word blackmail.
Fantastic service from these guys. Polite, friendly, and careful. It was an emotional move for my mum. She had been in her property for 47 years. They were very bubbly and upbeat and complimented her new home. It’s the little things that make all the difference. Especially having the patience to put the drawers back in the chest. Hats off !! I recently used Mitchells Moving Company to move me from Kent to Surrey. Harry was brilliant, he answered all my questions and reassured me throughout the process. On moving day everything went like clockwise, and all my belongings were safely delivered. My sincere thanks to the Mitchell's team who gave me excellent service.
Mitchells miscalculated how much van space we would need for our move, which resulted in a long, cold wait for me at a storage facility while they sent another van. It also cost us an extra £450. That said, they didn't leave us in the lurch and were patient when I couldn't confirm until a few days before our move date. On the day, they arrived on time, worked hard, stayed late until the job was done and were generally competent. Also friendly, polite and pleasant.
Harry and his team are brilliant and very helpful. We got a large industrial heavy item to move and Mitchells Moving Company lifted it and moved it to our new office with no problems at all. The process is smooth and communications were great. I would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone who needs a specialised lifting job. Thank you again!
Highly recommend! From the quotation appointment, to my many panicked questions over the phone leading up to the move, staff really put my mind at ease, knowing this was one aspect of the move I didn’t have to worry about. We had a very pleasant experience when we moved with Mitchell’s on 22nd of August.
Mitchell’s sent 3 guys which I wish I could remember their names but with the hundred & one this you have to remember when moving I unfortunately can not.
The 3 guys were very helpful and patient with us, it was a hot day and they worked extremely hard, the 3 guys were friendly and funny which was helpful as moving is stressful enough so was nice to be put at ease.
I’m not planning on moving for a while but If/when I was to in the future these guys would be on first point of call. Outstanding service.
From the quote to completion, Mitchell’s were absolutely fantastic. We had a few hiccups with the sale and purchase of our new property, and very little notice for the day of completion but Leanne in the office was more than helpful and managed to get it all sorted for us.
The guys arrived early on moving day, they worked incredibly hard and everything went smoothly. They took really good care of our belongings & They were all really nice guys.
I would not hesitate to use this company again.
