We contracted with Mister Window Holding Corp. for the purchase and installation of 11 flood barriers. After an initial consultation on July 14, 2025, I signed a contract on August 1, 2025 and paid $14,000 via credit card on August 4, 2025. Final measurements were completed on August 21, and a final scope of work was provided on August 25. Installation began on September 17, 2025. The crew arrived late and took three days (September 17–19). I paid an additional $2,700 by check for installation. Critically, I have never received the flood barriers that I paid for. Only partial preparatory work (concrete balusters) was performed, and the actual flood barrier products were never delivered or installed. Since that time, the company has become completely unresponsive. Calls and emails have gone unanswered, and their offices appear closed.
I paid Mister Window a 50% deposit of $15,722.50 in Aug. 22, 2025. They followed up with measurements and filed permits. They have not done the installation, and now they have shut off their phones, and it looks like they are out of business. Also, I paid a 50% deposit for a *** Easy Front Door Flood Barrier, also no installation. This is fraud on the customer.
FYI: the wife opened an LLC in her name cool life coatings - because Michael Cvetetic has trashed this company and it’s reputation For a company that markets itself as professional and reliable, the experience felt disorganized and frustrating. If you’re considering Mister Window, I would strongly suggest getting everything in writing, asking detailed questions, and exploring other options before making a decision.
They took a deposit from us in October 2025 - never heard from them again. Just found out that they may no longer be in business. Several people are calling another company called Mr. window that is not affiliated with this company and he’s being the bearer of bad news and having to tell everyone that they’ve gone out of business, took our money and ran.
This company took my money and didn't give me the product that I paid for. I paid for 8 windows, a front door, and 2 sliding doors. I paid them in May 2025 and I still have yet to receive my front door. Beware! This company will take your money and not give you the product. Now the lift company is threatening to put liens on the properties in my complex that used Mister Window because they didn't pay their bill. Check out the new stories for this company.
I guess I had to click one star or I couldn’t post my review. This company was crooks. I say was because they went out of business and kept everyone’s deposits without delivering and installing the products. The owner and his short little Napoleon want to be, have opened a new business in St Pete named Cool Life Coatings. Please stay away and warn others.
Signed a contract for installation of windows in July, but they kept giving excuses as to why they were not being installed. Project Manager said he dropped the ball, then they scheduled (then cancelled), then scheduled again, then never heard from them. It was not until I heard from another person that they had been scamming people and had no intent to arrive at my house the next day (in January) to start the scheduled installation.
Poor communication, no resolution
I’ve been waiting for over three months to have my defective door replaced, as it has warped panels. Despite calling 16 times and leaving repeated messages, I have received no response or updates. The lack of communication and resolution is extremely frustrating and disappointing. I’ve also sent emails which go unanswered.

This company should be ashamed of how they conduct business. They took our deposit for new windows in September and never installed them. Despite our attempts to resolve the issue, the work was never completed and our deposit was not returned.
What comes around goes around. The law has a way of catching up to companies that operate like this, and accountability will follow.
Avoid Mr. Window at all costs
I paid Mr. Window a $29,000 deposit in December of 2024 (post Helene) and waited over a year (13 months) with no product delivered and no service performed. Despite repeated requests, they refused to return my money, leaving me with no choice but to take them to court just to recover funds that should never have been withheld in the first place.
This was not a delay issue — this was a complete failure to perform paired with an unacceptable refusal to refund a substantial deposit. Holding onto a customer’s money for over a year without delivering anything is inexcusable and, frankly, alarming.
The stress, time, and legal costs required to resolve something that should have been handled professionally were entirely unnecessary. This experience demonstrated a total lack of accountability and customer service.
If you value your money, your time, and your sanity, do not do business with Mr. Window.

Update 1/9/26: Mister Window took a deposit of over $4k from us on September 5th with a lead time of 8 weeks. Install was scheduled for 11/13. We removed all the window coverings and scheduled PTO from our jobs. I started calling that morning at 8:30. Left messages with no response. Finally after 10 AM and multiple phone calls, I was able to get someone on the phone who said that our windows never got delivered. They asked to reschedule for the first week of December. I said I could not take time off again that quickly so I asked for the week of Christmas. We rescheduled for 12/26. I received an email a week before saying that our windows still have not come in and the ETA is now February. I have since called and emailed numerous times and many different people with no response. Even our salesman Mike will not respond. It has been weeks of being ignored. Their main number says they are closed for seasonal inventory and happy holidays. I now have lost all faith in this company and just hope that we will be able to get our deposit back.
Dealt with Mike and he was very professional and detailed with his info. Signed our contract and looking forward to our install in a couple of months. Great experience so far!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad Mike provided professional and detailed service. We look forward to your upcoming installation and are here if you need anything.
Sooooo update…..we paid $20,000 for two custom doors. Michael is no longer with the company, and when we call this business a recorded message tells us they are closed for “inventory” we sure hope they are looking for our doors we paid for! Anyway, we are hoping a downgrade in this review will have them return our calls since November….we posted the review initially after a great meeting and several measurement appointments, but it seems after they took our money they don’t seem to return calls to let us know when install will be. Please Mister Wjndow….please install our doors! Or simply give us our money back! Thank you!!!! It’s pretty easy.
Michael from Mister Window was great to work with! He gave a clear, professional presentation and helped us pick 2 perfect doors and 1 window. Michael is very knowledgeable and personable. We really liked the computer model and catalog to look through - it really helped us visualize the design. The whole process was easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!
Company is out of business, we went to a location in Port Charlotte, the door had an eviction notice since December , we try to email them and all the emails bounce back, all locations are saying they are close for seasonal inventory!!!! If you have a contract call your lawyer. You are not going to get your work done !!!!!
Worst company to work, we been waiting for our windows to be corrected the window was made wrong they still installed it, but no updates on when are we getting it corrected, my husband has been calling them they told him they ware gonna give him a called and nothing is been 4 weeks, they don't give us updates on anything. WORST COMPANY EVER .
