Owners were quite brusque and unwelcoming, but check in was efficient and easy, so that's only a minor concern in my opinion. We stayed in a luxury cabin and it was the nicest caravan park cabin I've stayed in. Lovely loungeroom area, clean and well appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds and air conditioning coped well with the cold evenings. Because it was winter, it was pretty quiet and the lake was closed, but this meant it was a peaceful stay, not even any traffic noise. Grounds were clean and well maintained. The two resident cats (one that greeted us on our doorstep each morning) were just a bonus.

We’re staying here for 5 nights, it’s currently the middle of autumn so the park is quiet and peaceful. A plus for us is that this is a pet friendly park, we have a gorgeous Labrador, Lucy, who is with us so this was just perfect. The cabin is lovely, very clean and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small but ok for 2 people. We will be back in a month or so this time for 2 weeks or more and will definitely book here again.

The perfect location for our family reunion over Easter , 5 families coming together . The Adults loving the quiet , relaxed environment while the children were safe and entertained riding bikes , playing endless games of footy and cricket on the well manicured laws and also enjoying the very welcomed fire pit in the evening that bought the whole park together. Management providing an endless supply of fantastic dry wood . An added bonus of being right next to the swim lake and playground perfect for warmer weather. The hard working owners were only too happy to accomodate our needs and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we required . It was so great that management took into consideration we would all like to camp near each other and provided the perfect location for us. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay

Unusually bad Our room was comfy enough, except for feeling icky with the bedding not being very nice. No duvet covers is weird, especially when the duvet isn't clean like you'd expect. We stayed for 5 nights too many- at least that's how we were made to feel from our first, to last interaction with park owners- they could definately benefit from learning some people skills. We did ask for fresh towels after a couple of nights stay. There hadn't been anywhere to hang the ones we'd used. We were told towels weren't replaced until guests have stayed a WEEK!! Well I can tell you I felt sorry for the next guests in the cabin when drying the dishes with a tea towel that had been used for 6 days! In our many years travelling this is the first time we were made to feel like a burden. We paid no less than we would elsewhere, but the service was nowhere near up to par. It was also unusual not to have WIFI, something we have come to take for granted obviously.

What's disappointing is this review. Yes, we had apologised several times for cabins not being ready. Unfortunately, when you linen supplier has issues, so do we. We apologised several times and had them ready as soon as possible.
We weren't unfriendly at all! If it's because of 1 cabin wanting fresh towels after 1 night, thats just ridiculous. If it was me, id have made them pay for them.
If uts because of the missing shower curtain. We at no point we aggressive, argumentative or anything of the sort. We asked what happened and 1 guest got extremely aggressive. I however kept calm and directed my questions to the calm man who was very understanding. The issue was resolved quickly.

We run a business, not a charity. We can't afford to give linen out daily nor can we afford to lose linen.

Personnel is extremely rude and unpleasant, clearly lacking any basic sense of customer service. The kitchen is filthy, which is honestly unacceptable and raises serious hygiene concerns. The whole campsite feels like it’s on the verge of going bankrupt—poorly maintained, neglected, and just falling apart. And the lake? Absolutely disgusting. Dirty, uninviting, and nothing like what you’d expect. Overall, a terrible experience from start to finish.

Disappointing campsite. The kitchen was very dirty, which is really problematic in a shared space. There was also no hot water, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. In addition, the staff were very cold and unfriendly, which did not make the experience welcoming. A shame.

Really??? The 3 of you were asked to leave because you couldn't clean up after yourselves in the camp kitchen. Don't make this crap up because you got dealt with. We have plenty of reviews about our cleanliness and the hot water was NEVER an issue. Trying to shame us wont work here guys, but nice try!

Nous nous sommes sentis tellement agressés en tant que clients et touristes français ! Nous somme partis le lendemain sans même oser repasser par "l'accueil" si on peut appeler cela un accueil. Sinon la cabine était propre mais le matelas épouvantable et trop petit pour nous en 140 cm. My god. You win the Oscar for exaggeration!
1st, your in Australia and dont have a phone that can make calls in Australia. No fault of ours and how we're we supposed to know?
2nd, you were seconds from knocking on my residence door. The office hours are 9am to 5pm. I got your email stating your ETA at 6pm. So, when I spotted someone outside at 5:30, I asked, "can I help you?". Not aggressive, just inquisitive. Once you said you had a booking, I simply replied with please dont knock on my door. Call the number for service. How was I meant to know you dont have a phone that works here? I was simply stating that knocking on our door is extremely intrusive considering we provide a number to call.

You booked the double bed cabin online. I'm not sure if a double is bigger in France but here, a double is a double. Its smaller than a queen but bigger than a single. Its the cabin you booked, it has photos of the cabin on the website, the website you booked through!

As I explained, we dont provide wifi (and dont advertise it either) as the previous owners cut it off at Christmas and were yet to get it back! We literally run the office from a dongle until we can get a decent connection ourselves! A situation that is completely out of our control. We sincerely apologise if old posts state we have wifi, that is also no fault of ours and we can't possibly rectify it as, I apologised for!

You were definitely not in fear of me as your tone and disgust over us not having wifi was blatantly obvious and you were the one who got aggressive, when I wasn't the submissive person you clearly expected and thought you were entitled to. We do not monitor emails out of business hours as we have a young family. That's why we use sms during the day to communicate with guests.

Yes, we have been extremely busy, cleaning up the park as well as running the shop, not in anyway on you at all!
We do have more spacious cabins, please mention it next time and we can see whats available. And please, if there is an issue like no hot water, it's a simple fix! The gas had run out. We would have fixed it there and then.

A nice enough park with drive through sites with ample room, located next to the swimming lake and short walk into the town. Unfortunately we didnt get the " welcome to our park, hope you enjoy your stay" feels from one of the owners, and any interaction felt like an inconvenience. Dog friendly park, but clearly not dog lovers.

Hi Beryl, we ARE actually dog lovers. We have a rottie. What we aren't lovers of, is people who think their dog can go wherever they go. And actually, that was never an issue with you. It was another gentleman who thought he could walk into the office with his dog when we have signs asking people not to bring their dogs in as we also have cats.
Not sure why you have a bee in your bonnet when the issue was with a different guest.

This was the best caravan park we stayed at during our road trip from Sydney to Perth. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and being able to have a campfire on Christmas Eve made our stay truly special. Highly recommended!
