I bought my dress from Midnight elegance for our wedding in April 24, and I am so glad I went local to a wonderful shop with a huge selection of styles. I had very little idea of what I wanted in a dress and Emma was such a pro, listening to ideas and pulling a selection of dresses to try. As I started to narrow down what I loved and didn’t want in my dress, she would come with dresses that somehow suited exactly what I had said. There was zero pressure to buy on the day, and after taking a week or 2 to make sure I’d found the one, I went back to try the dress on again and was so in love with the dress I chose. It was a dress designed for midnight elegance and fitted our boho outdoorsy-feel wedding perfectly. The shop is beautiful and really added to the whole dress trying experience. I couldn’t recommend Emma and the team at midnight elegance more. Thank for your everything!

I was so nervous coming into your store today to try wedding dresses on. I'm a curvy girl and was scared I didn't find anything that fitted, or anything that suited me. I found my dress. I had the BEST experience getting my wedding dress from Midnight Elegance. Kathy is an absolute pro, listened to what I wanted and made suggestions based on that, but she also listened to what I wasn’t saying, she was so tuned in to my responses to dresses she knew exactly what to try next without being at all pushy. The third dress I tried was the one! The whole experience was fun and I felt really comfortable from the start. Collecting the dress was also so exciting, Emma was so helpful with getting my notes for my seamstress, taking pictures and generally just making me feel like the most beautiful bride there ever was, and I haven’t even got married yet! The selection of gowns and accessories are fantastic and being in the town centre of Inverurie is really convenient. I had slightly tighter timescales and my dress was ready in 5 months which was ideal! Communication was great too and Kathy made sure that the little additions I wanted for my dress would be perfect. If you’re not based in Aberdeenshire, taking the trip to Midnight Elegance is so worth it! And if you are, you’re not just supporting local but you are getting a 5 star experience. Midnight elegance is the most beautiful bridal shop you could ever visit. Filled with the most gorgeous gowns, almost too many to choose from. Emma made me feel extremely important from the first minute we met and ensured that I was comfortable and happy in every dress that I tried on. I can't thank Kathy, Emma and the rest of the team adequately for all their care and support throughout every step of this process, even after we had purchased and collected my dress, every query has been met with enthusiasm and diligence. I would highly recommend Midnight Elegance to anyone looking for their dream dress.

I didn't imagine how special shopping with my daughter for her wedding dress would be until I stepped foot into Midnight Elegance, the 2nd bridal shop we'd visited that day. The experience can only be described as magical from start to finish, my daughter felt like the most important person in the world during her appointment and tried on so many dresses until she found "the one". Prior to this appointment my daughter hadn't believed that she would know which dress was her dress, but Emma at Midnight Elegance, with her enthusiasm and warm personality was so easy to be around that Zarah soon relaxed and loved every second until she tried on a dress that changed every preconception of wedding dress shopping. Since the day Zarah said "yes to the dress" Kathy and her team have been nothing but exceptional with their aftercare, even the smallest request is dealt with in the same caring, professional and enthusiastic manner. I cannot sing Kathy, Emma and the rest of the Midnight Elegance's praises enough, the most perfect experience during the most memorable time of our lives. Thank you xx

When shopping for a wedding dress I visited several stores, and my experience here was just very strange. The salesperson was absolutely lovely, and the shop is beautiful. However a few things that you may want to know before an appointment here: 1. Everyone (not just those trying on dresses) will be asked to remove their shoes. Not an issue for me, I make people do that in my home, but my mother was a bit taken aback. I also totally understand why they ask this to keep all their gorgeous dresses clean. 2. You will not be allowed to take any photographs of yourself in the dresses you try on. This meant that we weren't allowed to take any photos to go home and look back at before making a decision. For such an expensive purchase, I wanted to be sure - especially for the fear of being rushed into a decision and waiting for months for a dress that could arrive and realise it wasn't right and regret it. As the bride, I relied on photos to get an idea of what wedding photos might look like, and for me to be able to see what I couldn't see while wearing it. My bridesmaids couldn't be there as they live from 150-1250 miles away, and I relied on their opinion after each appointment as I knew they'd be honest with me on what suited me or what I might not have considered. Although I found a dress that I really liked in there, I ended up not going back to get it as I found the paranoia that everyone visiting may get photos to get someone to copy the dress very off-putting. This is not typical practice, and as you can get photos of all the dresses on designers websites (and lots of dresses are so similar in design anyway) it does seem really silly. Also typically getting a professional dressmaker to make an equivalent dresses from scratch would be far more expensive. When I told other boutiques of this experience they were all really shocked too.

There is no better shop for bridesmaids 😍 Kathy and Emma provide the most professional service at Midnight Elegance. Their attention to detail, love for the job and fun nature makes finding bridesmaid dresses a dream! I travelled to every shop from London to Inverurie and Midnight elegance has the best selection of well made, excellently fitted dresses for bridesmaids. A must visit for any bride who wants her girls looking and feeling fabulous on the day. Cannot thank Kathy and Emma enough! 💕

I cannot recommend Midnight Elegance highly enough. Cathy & Emma are just fantastic. I not only got my dress from them, but I returned & purchased my Bridesmaid & Flowergirl dresses also. It was a very relaxed experience & after trying on several dresses of different styles, I knew when I found "the one". I also purchased my wedding shoes "trainers" & they were the comfiest of footwear & I had them on for my whole day. Anyone looking for their wedding dress, please do visit Midnight Elegance, you will not be disappointed.

I cannot recommend midnight elegance enough! I was a very nervous bride but Kathy put me completely at ease. Kathy was so kind and helpful and knew exactly what I wanted and what would suit my body type. It made choosing my dress a fun enjoyable experience. I was so impressed with the service I received that I returned a few months later to buy my daughter a flower girl dress. My daughter was a fussy, shy 2 year old at the time and emma was so kind and patient with her and helped us find the perfect dress. We both got so many compliments on the day on how stunning our dresses were. I cannot thank you both enough!

After having my little boy I was quite body conscious, I spoke to Kathy & she reassured me we would find a dress. On our visit Emma was very helpful & knew exactly the styles I was looking for. The first dress I tried on was actually the dress I went for. The shop has so many beautiful dresses. I also bought my bridesmaids dresses from ME again a great selection of dresses. Also very accommodating with finding a dress for my pregnant bridesmaid. Excellent service & great communication throughout the process. Thanks again for all your help. Rhian Brown

Highly recommend! Beautiful bridal store who were very patient as a bride who had no clue what I wanted. The ME team let me try on lots of dresses, listened to my likes and dislikes and found my perfect dress with the most stunning veil and hair piece! I cannot thank Emma & Kathy enough for all their help with choosing my wedding dress. From the moment I walked in with my mum & sister, a very nervous & overwhelmed bride, Emma had me at ease and made the whole process seamless and enjoyable. Her advice was second to none and I am so glad I found “the one” at Midnight Elegance. I felt amazing in on our wedding day and got so many comments with everyone being surprised I’d gone for bling! The bridesmaids also looked stunning in their Midnight Elegance dresses too! The after care service & help with getting my dress cleaned and boxed up has been fantastic too.Thank you again so much ladies!

Just wanted to say when I came a couple of months ago to try on bridal gowns for the first time, it was such a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, sadly I didn’t find the dress but it will always be a fond memory and experience I got to have with my mum, thank you so much! X

Wow, what can I say about Midnight Elegance. I have always been a tall & big girl, but having lost 5 stone, I was still extremely nervous about trying on dresses....I'm not a dress person. Emma couldn't have been nicer and put me at ease as soon as I walked in. They talked me through what I liked and selected a few dresses to start with. They even put me in dresses that I didn't think I'd like and much to my surprise it was one of those I fell in love with. She knew exactly what would suit me and she even made it an enjoyable experience. There was no pressure what so ever from them to purchase from there but I am so so happy that I did. They have simply been amazing, even when I took my dress back after the wedding to clean. They were so happy to hear about the day & see pictures. If you are nervous or anxious about trying on dresses for whatever reason, book yourself in to see Midnight Elegance, you will not be disappointed.
