Wow. What an unhappy staff!
After waiting and waiting. The counter lady walked away and started sorting packages.
When she came back and I asked for a sheet of postcard stamps she rang me up and said she couldn’t make change for a 50.
They don’t keep more than $20 in cash on hand.
Heading over to Michigan Ave USPS. They are always nice and customer focused.
Hoping they have $37 onsite to make change.
I went to this location because the USPS website said biometric services were available here.
When I arrived, the staff told me they don’t actually provide that service.
I also tried calling several times beforehand, but no one answered the phone.
It would really help if the website information were updated correctly.
It’s frustrating to waste time and gas visiting a location that doesn’t offer what’s listed online.
Stopped at this location for a money order and staff was not friendly. The staff member I worked with told me I needed to “hurry up before the transaction disappears” as if it times out after a short amount of time.
My debit card was not working, so I stepped aside to call my bank and then got back in line. The credit card reader told me to remove my card because it could not read the chip. The employee told me I am doing it wrong because I was taking my card out. I explained that the screen said “remove card” and he responded with, “I just saw you with my own eyes.”
Very poor customer service. I went to another location and still had the same issue with my debit card; however, at least the staff was great and friendly at the other location.
I will avoid this location in the future.
Best experience at a USPS facility. I’ve been having issues with my change of address and the employees went above and beyond to rectify the issue
Management even called the next day to help me understand what they’ll be doing to successfully forward my mail to my new address.
Thank you so much! I think if you’re just nice they’ll be nice back 🥶
Hit or miss here. One clerk handled my UK shipment well, but for the same shipment weeks later, two others gave me the runaround about packaging, and one quoted me wildly different prices (4× and 2× what I paid weeks earlier). It felt like a wild roller coaster ride, so I left both times. I tried out USPS Ravenswood Station at 2011 W Montrose Ave and they handled the same shipment quickly, easily, and with kindness. The extra hike out there was worth it.
