1-star review in order to make it count. Shocked to be charged a 2 percent "surcharge" for the privilege of using my credit card to pay. $30 just to pay my $1,400.00 bill? Really? C'mon MtD - get real. You just lost about $10K in business, I had about 10 more boxes at the same amount, but I'm not paying you an extra 2 %...just to pay you. In the words of Bart Simpson: Get Bent.

Hi Josh, I appreciate your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding the fees associated with using credit cards. This fee is simply to cover the costs of processing credit card payments, and is common practice across many businesses in accordance with a 2021 Colorado law. We have been reluctant to raise our prices more to cover credit card fees when they only apply to some of our clients. We do not receive the surcharge, it is paid directly to the credit card processing company. We accept payment via debit, cash, or check to give our clients the option to avoid that surcharge. I am willing to work with you to switch your payment method so you can recoup the fee. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your business.

I'm giving a neutral rating because I wasn't the direct customer and didn't observe what happened. My mother was the customer for a VHS-to-DVD recording that belonged to both of us. When she tried to play the DVD she had purchased, she discovered that it was blank. She did this some time after she picked it up, because she had assumed all was well and didn't get around to watching it for a while. Because of the delay, she was told by the store that she had waited too long to report the problem, so she was denied any refund or correction. While the store's policy is understandable from their point of view, she still got nothing for her money. Potential customers should be careful. Check all recordings as soon as possible, as mistakes can happen.

Hi Cheri - I am so glad you posted. Even though the issue with the DVD was discovered after our 30-day 100% guarantee window, we almost always will work with a client to rectify problems, even years later. Sometimes, depending on the situation and circumstances, there are new charges associated with redoing a project. But, if the DVD was blank (which is easy to determine) and therefore she never received the product for which she paid, we would of course make a new DVD for no charge. From beginning to end, courteous and professional service. When dropping off my old VHS tapes, I was offered several options and prices. We discussed my needs and wants, and was provided a quote. The work was done in a timely manner with good communication when some adjustments were needed. I had mainly old band tapes from the early 2000s which some needed audio adjustments due to high volume. I received all tapes back and everything was on one flash drive. I so happy and excited to be able to share there’s memories with my old band mates, friends and fans. A few of the tapes were of family, some of who have passed, and these videos I will cherish. Having transferred these memories to a digital format gives me peace knowing I’ll have them forever! Thanks for your help, you did a great job and you have a very happy customer! I took seven old family photo albums to Memories to Digital for scanning, some with photos dating back to the early 1900's. They did a wonderful job scanning everything carefully and gently. Everyone that I worked with during the process was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. They have incredible customer service. I found out that my mom has four more albums, and I am going to pack them up and haul them across country to have them scanned here as I was so impressed. They are very trustworthy with treasured family photos. Now I can share them with all of my siblings so that everyone can have access to these wonderful memories and photos.
