We sat for five hours and sent us home without washing our my cats wound for me and sent me on with the medication I’m supposed to give him, the staff is very nice I just don’t understand why five hours for a little wound

As an emergency and specialty hospital, our team must triage all patients so the most medically urgent pets are seen first, which can result in longer waits even for concerns that seem straightforward. My 9 year old male cat presented with lethargy, anorexia (their words not mine), and had stopped urinating. The second I walked in the day before Thanksgiving, they immediately called the ER team to check for a blockage and once they felt he was clear, they brought me back to a room. They had clear communication with me and despite my cat having to be hospitalized for 2 nights, the doctors made sure to keep clear notes and communicate with me and each other as their shifts ended. While my sweet boy is still not quite out of the woods, he is back home with me and that’s something I truly didn’t think would happen. No matter how much time I have left with my Boo Radley, I can’t thank the staff at MedVet enough for giving me more time with him.

MedVet Was very attentive to my dog’s needs. She was critically ill when I took her in. They recognized her status and she was moved through the process appropriately. I had answers the next day after rehydration and imaging. Although her diagnosis was not a happy one; they thoroughly discussed her options openly and honestly. They were very good at helping me to prepare to take care of her at home for her remaining time.

I know that when it comes to your pets, you’re very stressed as we were with our cat Mr Bojangles. Once we got him into Med vet per referral from our veterinarian. They did everything they could to take care of him. He had a fractured Jaw and did have to have surgery .I was very impressed with the staff to the vet Dr Lemons all for keeping us updated and letting us know what was going on every step of the way .Detailed instructions on home care after the surgery. Following up to see how he was doing once he was home . We still have to go back to have a check up and to have wires removed .Over all our experience Was top-notch. Thank You MedVet

I was referred here for an abdominal ultrasound for my boy Louis who had been having GI issues. The building and staff are incredibly kind. When you arrive, they let the staff know and they come out and speak to you about the process before taking them back. After observing others in the lobby and from my experience, they are very personable and great listeners to every pet and owner. Unfortunately, I was given some bad news about my boy having (very possible) GI lymphoma. The radiology tech gave the news very gently and answered all the questions she could. After assessing the situation, I made an appointment to put my boy to sleep two days later at his vet. At that time, I had no plan to return to MedVet. Louis quickly began to deteriorate so I called the MedVet two days after the abdominal ultrasound at 2am and they were able to get him in since his appointment was not until 12:30pm at his other vet. All we had to do was show up. When we arrived, they took us back to the most relaxing, dimly lit room with seating and a white noise machine. Louis hates the vet so this was as close as we could get to an at home visit since this all happened so quickly. The tech was so personable and gentle with my boy and us in that very vulnerable and sad time. She offered water and treats and did not rush us at all. The vet was also very soft spoken and explained the process well and let us have all the time we needed during it. The $475 (includes private cremation, paw print, paw ink impressions, and fur clippings) was absolutely well spent for a comfortable send off for my boy. The staff here is absolutely amazing and I could not recommend them enough. Thank you to the team for taking good care of us and for being good people.
