When my fur baby Reese, pulled out a front toenail on a Sunday morning I was totally wigged out. Thankfully, these folks were open and they were so incredible,compassionate and took good care of my boy. Id definitely go back,but honestly I pray for no more EMERGENCIES.!!!

We had a wonderful experience with the cardio team at MedVet. Our appointment started on time, the staff was welcoming and answered all our questions. They treated my cat with respect and spent a lot of time discussing her condition with us. I highly recommend!

Wonderful veterinarians and support staff! Caring, knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate. Dr Agrawal (cardiologist) saved our dachshunds life, and she continues to provide wonderful care.

Left feeling like a crappy pet owner for no reason. Our dog mini had cluster seizures randomly. We were told by Dr.Mason that she either has a brain tumor or a seizure disorder despite the fact that we suspected it was pesticide poisoning. Was also told that we need to come to terms with that fact that it's more then likely not environmental and that there's something wrong on the inside and that bringing her home without seizure medication would be "frying her brain". Overall extremely pushy on a medication that she could never stop taking. Brought her home and she saw her normal vet, no more seizures and two other dogs were brought in with the same issues so yes it was pesticide poisoning. We even got CT scans just to make sure. We've had dogs on seizure medication and it destroys their kidneys overtime so being pushed towards a medication she didn't need was extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend unless you aren't easily pushed in one direction. I'm ashamed to have brought my fur baby to a place that's so pushy. The lack of empathy was sickening. I understand that more times then not it's an internal problem but to be told there 100% no way possible that it's a poison just to find out 24 hours later that YES IT WAS. Very upsetting. I'd like for you to review who works there. I would hate for this to happen to someone who doesn't stand there ground.

My blind dog died there when his heart stopped they waited over an hour to treat him waiting for my$4500 deposit. They called me just after midnight to say your animal has died his heart stopped.they charged me $1200 for duplicating the tests that were done the day before. Would not let me see my Remmi. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy there! Caution Caution

We were a complete mess when we found out Rizzo had torn her CCL and would need to have TPLO surgery. We had never went through anything like this with any of our dogs and it was so overwhelming. The staff at MedVet are very well trained at educating people pre-surgery, post-surgery, and following up to check on the fur baby. Everybody in the office is super friendly, nice, and patient. I never felt rushed no matter how many questions I had. Dr Ball did an amazing job on her surgery, and Rizzo seemed to feel so much better by day five. We have been following discharge instructions 100%, and we are so happy that we opted to have this procedure done. I recommend anybody to come here because I know for a fact that their baby will be taken care of like they were one of their own!

TLDR: Run far away from this place. Go to Fishers emergency vet instead! It’s hard to list just one reason why this place is awful. I write this to the staff and enterprise of MedVet. Your environment preys on guilt. You have no privacy for some of the hardest convos. Your team talks loudly in a waiting room that lacks privacy. Those convos relate to life and death decisions and thousands of dollars of investment for families. It’s completely unprofessional and lacks empathy. You don’t provide ANY itemized insight into what’s being paid for with thousands of dollars of investment (sometimes 10’s of thousands). After all we invested in the care of our pet, we have never seen an itemized statement - even after requesting one. Can you imagine spending $5K+ on care and never seeing the details? NONE of your doctors or staff talked about the reality of us needing to consider the option of putting our pet to sleep. You were happy to keep taking our money without providing any long-term path to us bringing our pet home. No one sat down or reviewed the test results we spent thousands to have run. Your nursing staff attacked us when we challenged back about yet another payment amount that was over $1k more than what we were told only 3 hours prior. We were accused of lying and we were gaslit with what we heard and were told. The nursing staff we were supposed to trust with our pet's care couldn't even handle a 3-minute conversation without verbally attacking us, losing her cool and walking away. We are supposed to trust someone like that with life-and-death choices regarding our pet????? The only reason this isn’t a lower score is that a nurse supervisor spent time with us reviewing our pet's record and speaking the TRUTH about her condition. That enabled us to finally make a decision about our pet. She said that the clear sign to nearly all vet staff that we needed to let her go was when she couldn't ween off oxygen. It was 24 hrs prior that she couldn't ween and NO ONE said a word to us about the depth of that sign!!!! In that 24 hr period, we interacted with no less than 5 different staff members and clinicians and NO ONE said a word to us about the importance of that element of her condition. As I’ve told our story to family and friends, no less than 10 other families have had the same experience as we did. This is an epidemic in your culture. It’s despicable how you use grief, fear, and guilt to squeeze every penny you can out of families that come to you for help in the most extreme moments of their pets’ lives. I'm very willing to bet that many employees at this vet work on commission. Can you image your vet working on commission? Maybe that explains why even after our pet couldn't ween off oxygen, your staff still almost giddily said "we hear you are open to diagnostic tests with internal medicine!" It's sickening. They should be ashamed of this behavior and treatment of others.

We visited MedVet to get a second orthopedic opinion for my dog’s torn CCL. The staff was very nice, welcoming and went above and beyond to make us comfortable and well taken care of. LeAnn and Dr. Essig were absolutely amazing and took the time to go over the pros and cons of different surgical procedures. She made sure we had all the information we needed to make the best decision for our dog. We were extremely impressed with every part of our consultation. Needless to say, we are going with her recommendations and having Dr. Essig do the surgery. We are so glad we made the decision to go to MedVet for a second opinion.

Very long waiting times, dirty waiting room, rude front desk staff and very high fees for basic care. Honestly, I could get over most of my complaints if the placed was staffed properly. We didn't even get scene for nearly six hours. Would not recommend

Called for a treatment/surgery consultation and received an appointment for just a few days later. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They took their time to evaluate my dog and explained everything in detail and very thoroughly.

The staff was very efficient and knowledgeable during our appointments with our beloved Magnum. When we made the decision to have Magnum euthanized, they were wonderful with us and Magnum. We received a beautiful home for Magnums ashes, and a nice card signed by the staff.
