Did not hesitate with my dog struggling to breathe. Brought him back immediately and helped get the care needed, even calling other vet hospitals to see if room was available in their oxygen cages.

Wonderful doctors and nurses. They took amazing care of my Great Dane and would even talk to me on the phone when I called to check on him. I totally recommend this emergency vet care over any others. He’s home and doing wonderful now.

I never leave reviews but had to after my most recent experience with medvet. This facility was not only completely unsanitary (there was a giant wolf spider in the waiting area and they are under construction) but the interactions I had with staff was completely disappointing! This was my second experience with medvet and both have been entirely appalling. When you and your pet are in distress you need support and care. It’s important to communicated with throughout the experience to feel there is adequate trust. This did not happen and the staff was very rude. When I received terrible news about my dogs condition and my phone was dead, I asked to use the phone to call someone and was told no. When I communicated my concerns and my declining trust with the staff they responded by saying “if you don’t like the service you’re getting here you can go elsewhere” so I did. I will never use them again. I went to Indy Vet and they were amazing!! The exact opposite experience. While I was there I even spoke to another client as we waited to pick up our pets and she mentioned that she had a terrible experience at medvet as well and we both bonded over how wonderful Indy Vet had been. I will never use medvet again and I recommend no one else does.

My family and I will always be grateful to Dr. Nicole Dockrey and her entire staff for the care they provided for our little dog, Lucy. The kindness and professionalism each team member showed during her critical illness has given us comfort in the days since her passing. We have no doubt they did everything medically possible to save her. Each staff member treated myself, my wife and our little dog with respect and tenderness. From the moment we arrived through the time we left, the team was there when we needed them and for that we will always be grateful.

I took my dog in because he swallowed one of my daughters pills and unfortunately, this was the second time this occurred. Instead of just treating my dog emergently, they have this ridiculous protocol using an offsite toxicologist. You have to pay $85 to a toxicologist offsite for advice even though you’re already in the emergency department. You can’t have your dog seen until you get a case number from this offsite vet. So in this somewhat stressful situation while I am holding my dog, I am being asked to get out a credit card and pay $85 and try to write down a case number just so my dog can be seen by the emergency vet. This is an unnecessary and unethical protocol. The emergency room vet should have enough basic training and toxicology and can look up online protocols themselves. Emergency that charges are high enough as it is without being gouged for $85 unnecessarily.

I had to visit this clinic to have my cat euthanized after hours due to a terminal diagnosis. She declined quickly and her regular vet was closed for the night. They made everything easy and were so helpful and caring. They give you all the time you need and truly were so compassionate. They were the biggest help on such a difficult night.

The clinic is nice staff are friendly, but the fact that you are unaware of the fees for services is outright ridiculous and a scam in my opinion! Prices should be posted and you also should be offered payment options should your bill exceed $1000.

Our 11-yr old kitty has been receiving care for a chronic GI condition since she was 2 and we’ve never had less than a totally positive experience at MedVet. The process of bringing my pet to MedVet was very smooth, and I trusted that my pet was in good hands. My Doberman was taken to the back immediately, as the staff noticed his condition was urgent. I was very glad we didn't have to wait a long time for him to be seen. MedVet made our next steps very easy by sending all of my pets paperwork straight to our primary vet! I also loved the private waiting areas, which would be especially ideal for those dealing with the loss of a pet.

About a month back I saw my cat was limping around the house and this was the only place open where I could take him. The staff here are incredibly kind but after waiting for a while one of vets came out to inform why my cat was limping. He somehow got into some small rubber band (the kind used to do hair) he showed me some pictures he took and told me that it was extremely deep and made a cut that got infected and they will need to perform surgery to amputate his foot. The procedure would cost around $1,500 and we would have to put a down payment on it that day. At the time my family was struggling so we had to leave. The next day we took him to our usual clinic where we take our other cat, the vet there told us amputation was NOT needed at all. He gave us some oral medicine and cream to put on his foot and a cone so he wouldn’t lick the area. After about a week or so our cat was back to normal. I don’t know if this is a normal thing for this clinic it seems others have had better experiences here and again all of the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. But suggesting amputation when it’s was not needed is extremely concerning and worrisome.
