It's an Indian
Popped in to see the pink elephants. Lots of space to eat. Live band on last weekend of the month.
The food was teribble ,it took forever for the food to arrive and the food was not even up for the standards or the wait . Terrible service as well

Hi Ajimol,
We're sorry to hear you had a negative experience with us. However, you failed to mention to any member of staff that there was any issues with your meal. Unfortunately without any acknowledgement of any issues we can't help to fix these issues.
Your meal came out as it would for any of our customers and you ate your full meal with no complaints whilst you were here. In future we suggest you tell a member of staff if you have any issues.
Thanks

* LIVE MUSIC NIGHTS*
is always a great vibe! Look forward to seeing what's coming over.
Very large restaurant we ordered from the main menu and was plenty of good choices. Starters and mains came quickly and was hot and fresh. May be a little wait at busier times though. Enjoyable meal and nice surroundings, staff are really very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic meal with the family! The staff were friendly, efficient, and really on the ball even though it was incredibly busy with it being New Year’s Eve. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and everything felt great value for money. The overall experience was excellent. Definitely worth a visit.
Great and overall good.
The Indian buffet selection was very nice however the Chinese/Thai wasn't as good
Something for everyone, a meal for two or a group of people.
Not the best Indian I have tasted, we had the sunday buffet so you could have as much as you wanted. But I wasn't impressed.
All you can eat buffet plus two hours if free drinks. £28 per head on a Friday night. Great value. Very relaxed. Toilets could be better kept. Dirty. No toilet roll in first cubicle in ladies. Also dangerous tap on second sink. Food choice is mostly chicken. Other half says men's toilet is dirty too. Cheap and cheerful.
Three of us popped down for a Mid-week meal on a Tuesday. We have two of their Seat Meat Menus and one Standard Set Meal. The mixed starters were great, the portion size very generous. The mains were lovely, we had the Beef Khari and Chicken Tikka and Chicken Korma. All very nice and again a good portion size. The pilau rice was lovely with a hint of cardamon and some actual flavor, not just color. The Naans were also great and a good size.
I hadn't been in since before Covid. The staff were were pleasant and didn't hover or pester you and it was great to get on with our meal and natter. None of us were drinking Alcohol so cannot comment on that, but our soft drinks were fine.
I have had far lower quality curry with smaller portions and in worse atmospheres for far more on too many occasions. So it was lovely for a change.
I cannot comment on the buffet. That is Thursday to Sunday.
Though we have some nice take away curry houses nearby, I enjoy tonight that much I would rather drive to the Amantola and sit in. The experience was very nice.
Now before I get accused to being paid for a review, the above is the good stuff.
So I have genuinely struggled to find some cons, which are. The slight down side our table was in a tiny bit of dark spot that made reading the menu (which is pretty vast with meat, fish and vegetarian options etc) a bit tricky. Some other areas are far better illuminated. So if you have vision issues just ask them, for a slightly brighter spot.
Seating wise, I was walking on crutches, so they kindly put us at a table with chairs which was greatly appreciated as I would have struggled with the booth seating they have on one side. So you have a choice.
If you are disabled the entrance does have a (think) three shallow-ish steps. Though they might have a ramp for wheel chair. I didn't make note if they did or ask so best to ring ahead and confirm if you or party member uses one. But inside would have plenty of room to get a wheel chair through and up to a table where we were sat. I didn't however make use of the facilities so cannot comment on their suitability or cleanliness. But dining area was find.
The only tiny other con, but really wasn't a big one was just some television noise from the area by the bar but frankly it was not bad and we got there just as they opened and mid weak so probably never notice it when you have a few more people in chatting and eating away. This could also be a pro for anyone waiting by the bar I guess. For me it certainly didn't detract from my experience, and my ADHD might have been the reason for picking it up.
The young lady serving our food was very nice and smiled and must say hats off to the cook. The dishes were very tasty. I left very full and happy and under £25 a head.. with two pints of soft drink. All three of us agreed it was a lovely meal and we would definitely be back again.
If you haven't been. Give it try for your self.
Lovely food. Great buffet over the weekend and great offers in the week
Went as a family of 6 for birthday celebrations. Was given complimentary bottle of prosecco, lovely gesture.
We all ordered the meat banquet which was delicious, so much food we all took remaining meals home to enjoy. Manager was a brilliant host. Can't wait to return.
