Missed several appointments since the beginning of the year. Had to reschedule those appointments. I schedule my rides at least 1-2 weeks in advance only to call the day before the appointment and they tell me they haven’t found a driver for my case. Today was the last straw, I had an appointment at 8:15. Was told on Tuesday I had a driver assigned. Never got a courtesy call the night before or this morning. I called the transportation number at 7:30 this morning was on hold for over 20 minutes only to tell me that there was no driver assigned!!!
I scheduled my ride to get 2cat scans and a MRI for today I informed them my daughter will be with me. Well Dee's transportation came to pick us up and refused because of my daughter. She had to come with me because my brain doctor wanted to show her the strokes I had. So now I have to reschedule my appointment. So if I have another brain bleed like the other 8 ones I have had they will be sued for failure to tell me my 16 year old could not come with me.
How am I supposed to get to my appointments if they don’t want to bring me. I make my appointment the dr accepts it now I can’t even go to my appointment because no one wants to pick me up. It’s bs how am I supposed to rely on yall to get me too and back from my appointments if yall don’t even want to bring me this is the second time I had to cancel on my appointment because no one wanted to bring me.
Phone rings but no one answers they sit on the line silent and wait for you to hang up. Rarely get anyone willing to help. Awful customer service. So sad that people in need can’t get basic help to appointments . Louisiana Medicaid should be ashamed the even do business with them. You have a better chance of getting help from an ambulance. There is literally no one to complain to about this awful service
The person that picked me up was not even MediTrans. They sent me over to someone else and I was late for my appointment today. They are unprofessional. And by the way, the driver was driving crazy I have a video I’m 32 weeks! I had to ask him to slow down , I’m 32 weeks pregnant, and that he was slanging me around the back seat. Texted the whole time. Was very uncomfortable in this situation my appointment was at 11, he came right at 11. I called MediTrans to see where driver was, the lady said he should be coming let me call him… and hung up… so I don’t even who took me for real. 0 stars! I called my insurance to report! Will call MediTrans tomorrow to follow up too.
Booked 2 trips for 2 consecutive. Was ready required 2 hours in advance. No show * No call * DID NOT CALL Promised to show up next day. NO SHOW AGAIN. They should be cancelled from medica
L transport contracts and suffEr serious legal consequences. My disgust with the complete lack of decency in how they treat homebound with medical l issues is egregious.
If I was able to rate the poor customer service, rude and unprofessional response that I received this morning from your representative, Otissicia Hill, I would give Medi Trans LLC ZERO stars. Ms. Hill contacted me last night to confirm that my son, Matt would be picked up between 8:00 and 8:30 am on 10/20/25; however, no one ever showed up this morning. After contacting Ms. Hill at approximately 8:40 am to inquire as to why a driver hadn’t shown up, Ms. Hill sounded like she had just woken up, and was extremely irritated that I called her, and placed me on hold for over five minutes so she could locate a driver. Her tone of voice was very rude and very unprofessional in her responses. She eventually disconnected my call, and then proceeded to send me the following texts:
I'm forced to have this medical transportation service through my insurance and it has been a nightmare. I have had to get trip pre-authorization from my insurance 3 times before it was finally put in my file for all future trips like they claimed they were doing the first two times.
Now after that was taken care of, I have had issues getting a driver to take trips. It took me 4 months to finally be able to see my primary care physician because they couldn't find a driver and didn't bother telling me until right before the appointment each time. As for the appointment that required the pre-authorization from the insurance, I have not been able to see that doctor in the office since May because they can't find a driver. I'll admit there is one time a trip was scheduled that I had to cancel because of a mix-up at the doctor's office, so there was one month where I didn't get seen because of that, but it's still getting to the point I'm being denied care because of transportation issues and there's the threat of having to find a new doctor if this keeps up, which I can't do because that facility is the only one in Louisiana that takes Medicaid and specializes in the conditions I have.
If you have older people who rides with Medicaid transportation , 9/10 they will not get a ride, they don’t care about these older people getting rides to there apts they have people who don’t get rides to Dialysis or Chemo! Members be calling for rides , they hang up the phone on members! Members call crying they laugh at the members! If your relative is in a wheelchair THEY WILL NOT GET A RIDE! There’s a Hippa law but nobody who works for Medi Trans follow the rules tells everybody business! That’s talks about everybody! BILLING, DISPATCH, CALL CENTER, Credentialing THE LIST GOES ON! I believe cooperate will needs to hire a whole new team! Have A Great Afternoon
I had 2 sta before bc I had ran into some problems. But come to find out MediTrans was putting a entire new system put in. Which put everyone back. After I was explained what all was going on, then things made sense.. and the employees seen about my drivers paperwork promptly and went back and fixed any kind of hiccups. All I ask for is honestly about what is going on, instead of telling me what "WE" want to hear... Business is business dont lie. Just say what is really holding up drivers reimbursements with the Gas reimbursement department. After over 60 (sixty) days of continuous BS . I waa forced to go to.the big man. And after that that's when I seen awesome customer service and things got popping and moving as it should be.
All I ask is honesty and not a run around. So I went from a 2 star to a 4 star
