We are a easygoing family, but our experience was disappointing. We paid a high price and found no essentials at all (not even shampoo, soap, salt, coffee, oil or vinegar). The house was not ready at 4 PM, cleaning was rushed, and the place is old, worn and not as in the photos.We had cockroaches throughout the stay, found in drawers, corridors and near the beds. We know tropical areas, but at these prices proper prevention is expected.The pool and jacuzzi were never heated (24°C for the jacuzzi; pool 19–20°C confirmed by a technician), making them unusable. We also received excessive cleaning instructions, repeated constantly, yet no towel change was offered during our 10-day stay.Doors and frames are very old and noisy with wind, and the house is under the airport departure path.We reported everything, but the host took no responsibility. Airbnb refunded 10%, while the host refused their part.For the same price or less, better options exist. We do not recommend this host or stay

We’d like to clarify a few points for future guests: At no point in the listing description is it mentioned that essentials such as shampoo, oil, coffee, or similar items are provided, so this seems to have been an assumption. The check-in was actually completed at 15:30. Regarding cockroaches, please keep in mind that we are in the Canary Islands, where occasional sightings can happen despite regular fumigation, the last one was done six months ago. We even offered to send a pest control company during your stay, but you declined the offer. No “excessive cleaning” is required , only that guests wash their dishes and dispose of rubbish before checkout, which we believe is basic courtesy. Towel changes are not included, as this is a self-catering apartment, not a hotel. Each property has a washing machine for guests’ use. Finally, the house is located in La Pelada, and airplane noise can indeed be heard at times — this is clearly stated in the listing description, in capital letters.

Logement identique aux photos, très propre. Idéalement situé à 20min des zones touristiques. Très belle vue sur le toit à 360 degrés. On s’habitue rapidement au bruit des avions. Cuisine très bien équipée (prévoir pastille lave vaisselle). Jacuzzi très spacieux. Climatisation appréciable. Je recommande !

Вилла сама по себе хорошая — тихая, уединённая, можно гулять в горах рядом и дойти до океана. Но на этом плюсы заканчиваются. Бассейн не подогревается, что было нашим главным критерием при выборе, но сам бассейн и территория требуют ухода. Мы специально уточняли до аренды, так как теплый бассейн был для нас очень важен, а по итогу мы не смогли пользоваться им из-за холодной температуры воды в нем. Самое абсурдное — перед выездом нас обязали убирать виллу, мыть за собой посуду, выносить мусор и накрывать бассейн брезентом. Никогда не встречали такого в других виллах. Но худшее случилось позже: хозяин начал присылать фото сломанных вещей, требуя с нас деньги за старый тостер, шатающиеся ножки у стола и прочее, хотя мы к ним даже не прикасались. Ощущение, что просто пытаются нажиться на гостях. Очень неприятный опыт, не рекомендуем.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend these guests. They were disrespectful in their communication and even threatened us with a negative review. During their stay, damages were caused to the property, and when we addressed the issue, they denied any responsibility. Their review falsely claims we requested payment without reason, which is simply not true. We expect guests to treat the space with care and communicate respectfully — unfortunately, this was not the case with them.

The overall stay was nice but the house definitely needs improving for a more comfortable stay. ☺ The house was clean(ish). Nice jacuzzi and pool. (We actually didn't usw the pool).Lots of towels provided. Also lots of hangers in the clothes closet. Nice play room with books and games. Kitchen is well fitted. ☹ Everything around the house was creaking: beds,dors, wardrobe. Rooms are very simple.wardrobes very noisy and oldish. Front door and the one to the upstairs terrace were not clothing properly and therefore were always making a slamming noise at any wind breeze. The airport is close by and you can hear the airplanes from 5 o'clock in the morning until 11 ish in the evening. Bathrooms need a deep cleaning.

Great place! Our family loved it! The hot tub, darts, ping pong, lounge chairs, and upper deck were fantastic!The location is in a residential neighborhood but it’s a quick drive into town to get groceries. There is a beach within a five minute walk that was almost empty both times we went there. If you have a rental car and want to be away from the main tourist areas, this is great. If you want to go to the busy touristy towns, you can drive there in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend this property.Good water pressure in the showers and plenty of towels provided.

A good villa and great location. ☺ We felt very much at home straight away. The villa was clean and comfortable. The villa is well equipped, beds are comfortable, air con works really well and the hot tub was perfect. The property is approximately 25 minute walk into town but there are a couple of restaurants/bars about 10 minute walk and they are very good. Also the nearby hotel has an excellent restaurant. If you like hiking there are a lot of great trails nearby. ☹ Although the pool is advertised as heated it was quite cold. Returning the key to the office was inconvenient, especially as we did not hire a car.

Great. ☹ Lovely house and a well- equiped kitchen. The place was very clean and quiet apart from the planes as the airport is nearby. The nearest supermarket is small and doesnt have many products. The other supermarkets are 2 kilometers away, so a car is needed if you need to stock up on your supplies. The same problem when collecting / handing in the keys. The office is located 2 km away from the house. At the end of the street is a great beach.

Nice and quiet place to be. ☺ Location. It's quiet at night. It's also has parking inside the property but is very small to get in. The air-conditioning is very good. ☹ The living room table was too big and hard to move around it once sit in the most inner corner. The pool was unuseable at night since it used solapower. The bed is too hard.

What a lovely experience for our first time in Tenerife.The location is perfect if you want to get away from the more touristy parts of Tenerife. The beach is around a 5-10 minute walk from the villa, with a small shop for your essentials at the Arenas Del Mar Hotel. If you don't want to drive then there is a local taxi number that speak English and if you want to do it cheaper then there is a bus stop within a five minute walk from the villa.The locals are very friendly and within a short paved walk (about 20 mins) you can be in the centre of El Medano, you'll find lots of local restaurants and bars and essential shops.Close to airport, expect a little plaane noise, don't let this put you off.The area gives off a relaxed and peaceful vibe. The villa is fantastic, very clean, Netflix and Amazon on the TV, games rooms, air con in most rooms, jacuzzi and pool clean and lots of sun spots throughout the villa. The hosts are vert friendly and helpful and made the stay more pleasant.

An excellent house for a large family to work and play in, with great facilities. ☺ The house is very well appointed, with top quality facilities throughout - in the kitchen, the sports equipment, the hot tub etc. The house was an excellent size for taking away 4 teenagers as there is plenty of room to be together or find personal space. The location is away from the crowds and apart from the airplanes going over, was very quiet and it was easy to park directly outside the house. The dining / seating space on the roof of the house is a wonderful area where we had breakfast every morning. The local town of El Medano has free parking, plenty of excellent restaurants and a fab farmer's market every Wednesday morning. ☹ There was nothing we specifically did not like as we had a great week here. It is important to note that the airport is very close and so many planes fly over from approximately 8 am till 11pm every day - however it is not a very busy airport and you soon don't notice the planes at all. The kitchen is small relative to the size of the house with little worktop space - but not difficult to get used to. There is little lighting in the dining room over the table and so it became a little challenging to play board games around the table in the evenings.

wonderful relaxing holiday with adult family ☺ Plenty of room for 7 adults. Sports facilities were good fun. Good quiet location and easy to reach the town, beaches and shops. All clean and useable. ☹ The layout was not always practical as you had to walk through the main bedroom to reach the hot tub. The sand blows into the pool when very windy probably needs glass screens. The electricity went off about five times each evening. We quickly found the panel and just re set it ourselves.
