They collected my FSSAI license and Aadhaar details, raising serious data privacy concerns. They placed a free “testing” order and later falsely complained about the food. They also pressured me to order from another kitchen, which I refused. Their behavior was unprofessional and against fair business practices. Food businesses should be cautious while dealing with them.

On Dec 31, I made a food order. You guys cancelled it without even any intimation. When I called your team, they kept lying that they will check and they will give me refund. After multiple followups the money is refunded to your app's wallet which is basically useless anymore because you don't have service in my area .

We have ordered from mealawe and the food is horrible. We have opted for less oily, less salty and less spicy. The food is exact opposite. And whenever we complain about the food they just get some stupid clause from the terms and conditions and slap it on our face. Such a useless subscription i have never seen. There is a customer representative Elton who has fake promised about the food. But doesnt bother even after we complain. We asked for the refund since we are not able to tolerate the quality of the food now they are saying they will refund to the wallet. If we dont want to associate with mealwae what would we do with the money in wallet. Such a stupid subscription. Plead do not fall for their sweet talk because after that everything is going to be bitter. WORST WORST meal subscription.

Terrible service, I had subscribed for Special Thali Monthly and today they deliver some 5 rotis with some liquid gravy. That's it nothing more in meal. Order Number is 65636010. Today being Sunday at time of delivery they won't even take calls or complaints. They are consistently late at delivering the food, my slot is 7-8 pm but they sometimes have delivered my food after 10:20 pm and today it's the worst. They packaged some random gravy with some rotis and sent. Last meal had live insect.

It’s great initiative and good idea also. I think there can be a little more improvement in UI and UX part. Otherwise service is awesome. It’s a new app but much better than my expectations. I thought I was the only one with a bad review but I can see a lot of other people here with similar issues. Looks like they have a lot of paid reviews. I took a 3 day trial since they don't have a single day trial. I've attached a photo of my non-veg "deluxe" thali. I never thought someone can screw up a trial meal but these guys managed to do that. I cancelled the remaining 2 days and asked for a refund for the 2 days but they refused and after I threatened to go to consumer court they sent the money to my mealawe wallet!!! Basically forcing me to order from them even if I don't want to. How can a company tell me what I should do with my money? Now that's what I call a scam!
