I grateful that my aunt is in the facilities. Meadowbrook has become a home away from home. The staff are excellent, and always accommodating. My aunt is making so many progress. Thank Meadowbrook Care Center!

We cannot express enough how grateful we are for the outstanding care our mom receives at the Meadowbrook Care Center. From the moment she first arrived, we knew we had found a place where she would be treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and compassion. The staff at MCC are exceptional. The nurses and caregivers consistently go above and beyond to ensure our mom is comfortable, happy, and well-cared-for. Their dedication and genuine concern for her well-being give our family immense peace of mind. The facilities are always spotless and welcoming. The rooms are cozy and the communal areas provide a warm and friendly atmosphere. There are many social events provided which help keep the residents active and engaged. We know our mom is receiving the care she needs at MCC. When our mom first arrived at the Meadowbrook she was on the rehab unit. The nurses and aides were so attentive and kind regarding any concerns we had for our mom’s care. Now, our mom is a resident on 3-A. Ms. McCormack and each and every staff member on 3-A have made such a positive impact on our mom’s life. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism are truly remarkable. Choosing MCC for our mom’s care was the best decision we could have made. We highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be treated like family. My father recently had a short-term stay at Meadowbrook for rehab after hospital discharge, he needed both medical care and PT/OT. We found the Meadowbrook staff to be attentive and communicative, which has not been the case at other facilities. The place is fresh and updated and pleasant for patients and visitors. I'm very grateful for the good care my dad got while there. Also, prior to discharging him, the staff included family on a conference call with the doctor, nurse, PT and care manager to give the overview -- that was invaluable to have that overview consult and the first time I've had that experience over several facility stays in my dad's history. So thanks again -- I hope this helps someone who has to just choose a rehab from a list, just hoping for the best. I know how difficult that is! Thanks B Bedell

Highly recommended!!! Everyone in this facility is very friendly and always with a smile on their face, My mom was in the respiratory unit for almost 10 months, she loved this place so much she was actually having mixed feelings about leaving and going back home, they all treated her with such care. When she was feeling a little depressed the aide’s and nurses would come into her room and sing and dance and uplift her spirits. They have a lot of fun activities for the patients. The rehabilitation unit has an awesome crew. The Building is newly renovated and does not look like a rehab/nursing home. My mom, my sister and I want to thank the entire staff on 1A for taking such good care of my mom, you will all be missed!!!

Immaculate (Maggie) tells me her PT persons, Cookie, Arnold, Roger & Elicia are the best.. And also is very appreciative of the accommodating kitchen staff. Maggie has been here several times for various issues & one person in particular has made her visits very comfortable & pleasent, Winny, has been a real sweetheart.. Also someone tht has really showed up for her support is Ashley @ switchboard who has a very pleasent demeanor…..

Kill center. If this patient (2023) below (not pictured due to privacy) wasn’t taken home, she would have died, like 3 other patients did in a 90 day span due to negligence. In this photo, we found her with fever and vomiting for 6/7 weeks never taken to the hospital in a clear, egregious effort to maximize her Medicare coverage $$$ (120 Days). Furthermore, this facility is FALSELY rated 4.6 stars on Google, FALSELY. The one star reviews are removed somehow. And employees are posting reviews (conflict of interest). Reference the reviews yourself to validate this information. Do NOT send your loved ones here. Medicare/Medicaid mill. I will repost this review if it’s removed. This patient is comfortable clean and well in a new facility without one call home. I have reported this facility to the State. They need to be shut down. Meadowbrook is GROSSLY MISMANAGED, dangerously understaffed, and an overall danger to public health. Most particularly in Unit A, where more due diligence is needed and care is more critical for residents. I hope they get shut-down.

I visit my mother daily and it would help if there was food , sandwiches at the Cafe. The Cafe does not have anything but literly junk food.

My husband just finished a stay at Meadowbrook Care and I’dlike to give a review of his stay.First the center is very clean and all theAids who take care of the patients couldn’t be nicer and very helpful. The social workers Jaye Girardi in admissions made us feel at home helped us with any questions and when we were ready to be discharged Jennifer Radi made it so easy, and I really appreciate d how helpful she was setting it all up. Thanks to everyone especially Joann in nursing.

The human resources department people are the worst. Both Sarah and the new woman in the HR department are the rudest people I ever encountered. Based on my experience with them, they are very arrogant and disrespectful. They would hang up the phone while in the middle of a conversation. I also heard from a few former employees especially CNA, and LPN of color how horribly the staff treated them when they worked there.

Meadowbrook Care Center is an outstanding facility! The staff there takes their job very seriously and is willing to go out of their way to make the patients feel comfortable and welcomed. Scott Schwartz, the Director of Rehab, is extremely knowledgeable, competent, and has been incredibly patient and respectful toward my entire family. He continues to help us to the fullest extent with sensitivity and care. The facility is so lucky to have him! In addition, Ayelet Goldberg, the Director of Social Work, has been very helpful to my family and has been willing to assist us with anything we need. The head nurse on 1A, Marie Hall, is an expert in what she does. The recreation department plans activities every day to engage patients and also the concierge service is excellent! We are so glad that our dad is at Meadowbrook Care Center because it is a well-run, efficient, organized facility with excellent rehab. from Jodi and Nicole DeSantis

I love the upgrades That we’re done to the facility . The place was very clean and the nurses were very attentive to my family member’s needs. They came right away and handled her concern. I forgot the name of the young lady at the front desk. She was on staff around 2 PM with braids. She was very professional, very helpful and very respectful to us and to other residents on the floor.

I had excellent care at Meadowbrook care center. I went in for rehab and was able to go home independently. There a few minor problems that were addressed during my stay and I am forever grateful for all the staff that took care of me from Social Services, Physical Therapy, 1B nursing staff, concierge and much more. Whoever, does the hiring good job!

I was in the Meadowbrook Rehab from 6/6/2024 to 7/1/2024. I had a broken humeus bone and 5 broken ribs. I found it accessble for friends and family to visit. I must give a shout out to: Michael Colorio, Fernande Laurent, Margeurite Johnson. They were all kind and wonderfull. My biggest shout out is to two people 1) my angel Jennifer Smith, I cannot say enough on her caring, loving and giving nature anad huge heart. She is trully exceptional. She made a hard situation bearable with her positive outlook and sunny smile. 2) Roger Samuel in OT - if you are lucky enough to get him as your OT person you are blessed. He pushes you with caring and love. He brought me further than I thought I would wirth his excercises and excellent care. I learnt so much from him and will tell anyone who asks how truly special and talented he is at what he does. Good job guys!!

The security at the front desk was great. To me that is very important. I saw it first hand someone that came in behind us just tried to walk in because she didn’t want to wait in line. They were very prompt at making sure she followed protocol and checked in.

Pleasant experience /clean and friendly -can see loved one is taken care of

I wanted to say thank you to the Meadowbrook Care Center for giving my father 15-20 minutes of PT a day during his 20 day stay. Also to say thank you for not releasing him when we asked on his 16th day there (we had home care set up) after which his roommate got sick with pneumonia (you kept the roommate in the room) which he obviously passed onto my father. When you released my father on that Friday (strange coincidence that that was his 20th day max on insurance) he wasn’t feeling well. He had a horrible night and Saturday morning we brought him back to the hospital and found he now had double pneumonia w/covid and died Wednesday morning. THANKS AGAIN Meadowbrook !!!

My 93 year old aunt spent 3 months at Meadowbrook Care Center after a bad fall. The excellent care she received resulted in a complete and positive turnaround in her physical health. She went from laying in bed not speaking for a few weeks to being able to speak and be alert. Her motor functions improved greatly and I am thankful to Meadowbrook for being a big part of that.
