If you live in the Jacksonville area, please give Maxi Auto Repair in Hodges your business. This is a review for work that they did NOT perform on my car. I was in town for one day, and I needed some work done. I took it to Maxi because of their high rating. When I described my problem and the mechanic took a look, he couldn't guarantee same-day service. He suggested that, for what I needed, I would be more likely to get same-day service at another shop just down the road. You simply cannot put a price on that kind of integrity. Unfortunately, it is very unlikely that I would ever need auto service in Hodges again. So please do me a favor and give Maxi's some business. If your experience is anything like mine, you will not be disappointed!

Wife’s car broke down and wouldn’t start. A few people in my neighborhood recommended Maxi so I had the car towed to the facility. When they opened on Monday they diagnosed the problem. They text me a link with the repair recommendation details and were able to order the parts and finish the repair Tuesday afternoon. Price was fair and repairs were quick. Thank you.

Taking wife to MAYO, five hour drive. Tire separated and Max Auto on Hodges Rd got my vehicle back on road the next day. Thanks to Brad and the guys at Max Auto. Good place to go for service. Thanks.

Maxi’s Auto did a comprehensive inspection of my 2014 Honda CRV. After being told by a local Honda dealership that I needed over 4k in services Maxi advised me that the only thing my car needed was a new battery. Brad was polite and professional. Absolutely amazing service. These guys go above and beyond to get you back on the road and are incredibly knowledgeable. I called several shops trying to get a feel on customer service and if I felt they were going to take advantage of a female not knowing I have a mechanical background. They even gave me a discount on the diagnostic because I was correct on what the problem was. And when I wasn't comfortable with the Uber driver, they canceled it and called me a new one. Best prices and overall service by far!!!!

The staff at Maxi Auto Repair are nice, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I always feel that they are being completely honest and fair with the repairs, and they always get me in and out very quickly! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

My drivers door actuator broke. They explained everything that need to be done. Everything was done on time and the price they quoted. Staff was great and waiting area was very nice. So glad they added this location. I still continue to use them for car repairs and oil changes.

Wonderful customer service. My car was shaking when braking and needed an overall inspection. Maxi’s has a lockbox for overnight drop off and security cams in their parking lot. They called with their findings and texted me a full report with pictures. Able to get rotors and brakes replaced same day. Once the work was done and test drive completed I got a call and was able to pay electronically with a text link. They made arrangements for me to pick up my car after hours which was super helpful with my work schedule. Will be going back for future auto needs.

Transparency and fair pricing. They show you photos of what’s going on with your car during the inspection. Prices openly discussed before you make your decision. Professional with no pressure environment. All very experienced employees. Friendly and informative. Will be going back and referring to others.
