Great hotel, beautiful rooms, excellent location but very disappointed with the professionalism of the staff and management. We were trapped in the elevator as it malfunctioned. We pushed various floor numbers and door open button and nothing was working. We pushed the alarm button and the call button and nobody answered for almost 2 minutes. The temperature outside was over 90 degrees, the elevator was getting warm inside and my wife was starting to have an anxiety attack in the elevator. Someone finally answered the call and stated “ok, we will get someone there as quickly as possible”. They gave no other instruction. And again, even though we were pressing the alarm, nobody came to try and help from front desk. I could see some light between the doors and thought we were still on 2nd floor so I pulled hard and was able to pry open the doors and we were able to get out of elevator. As I let go of the doors, they slammed shut. Someone from front desk finally came and put a sign in front of the elevator and asked if we were ok. We weren’t hurt so I said we were ok. She did not take any other information. I did text the hotel later and said I was disappointed with their procedures related to this incident and there response was that they would discuss internally and offered two free drinks. I consider this response from the hotel management and front desk as extremely disrespectful and unprofessional! Surprised, considering the rest of the area and people in Carmel were great!

My husband and I stayed in the Carmichael as a treat from my children. But I was very disappointed it was not worth the price my kids paid, I had to buy detergent to clean the bathroom myself. We didn't complain cause the kids paid, but next time we visit the kids we'll stay at the Hilton.

Was in Indianapolis a few days and decided to spend a few more days in Carmel. We stayed at the Hotel Carmichael for 3 nights. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. Had all the needed amenities. The staff was very welcoming and kind throughout the stay. We received a small welcome gift as well as they had bottled water available in the lobby during the entire stay, which was nice because it was unseasonably warm while there in mid-June. I also received a text prior to the visit welcoming us and letting us know if we needed anything to let them know. The room was large, and the bed was very comfortable and overall, well maintained. A large bathroom with a large shower with good pressure. There was a mini fridge, and it was stocked, but we still had some room for our few items. We did have to work during the mornings and did not have our room serviced and they followed up with a text each day to let us know that they were unable to service the room and let us know as well as let us know if we needed anything to please let them know. I worked in the library off the lounge, while my wife worked in the room. We had very good connectivity during our stay. I also needed some copies made, and they gratiously helped me with that. We made dinner plans elsewhere, but next time, we will take advantage of the options they offer, and they look like good options. The Monon trail runs directly next to the hotel and through town. We walked on that to Mid Town and Old Town and was a beautiful walk. We always felt very safe. It is also a very well maintained trail, great for running, biking, or walking with shopping and di Ning options directly next to the trail. (In Carmel) There are also several great places to eat directly around the hotel as well as shopping and entertainment. The hotel offers valet parking and also there is free parking options. We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back and plan in time to catch a show at the hotel and possibly at the Carmel Performing Arts Center next to the hotel.

This is the best the hotel. Absolutely wonderful town. The staff was amazing, the nicest people. The girl who checked us in was wonderful and the server at breakfast was the best. Such nice people, we will be back. It is a unique experience. One of the best Marriott's we have ever stayed at. GO THERE!!

This property hits all the marks as a top-notch luxury hotel in the heart of Carmel, IN. Staff was fantastic, especially Cindy Schassberger for helping make a special night even more special! Room was clean, comfortable and our stay was fantastic. The only thing I can be critical of was that their TV service was down on the evening of our stay, but I can't really place the blame on the hotel... These things happen! Thanks to the entire staff for making this a wonderful stay! FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!
