The cleaning teams have been punctual and thorough. Incredibly efficient (for 2 hours) clean our town house spotless. I have been amazed at the speed and the quality of the cleaning. Fresh One started out so strong, and I was the first to review with a 5-star glowing endorsement of Erika and her new business back in 2017. However, the last few months have not been great. Their cleaners are hard working, yes; I would never fault the staff who try their best under less than ideal circumstances. However, the turnover at Fresh One is unreal now, and their longest-lasting employees only stay a year. That tells you something about how valued those employees feel!
Furthermore, without any continuity in monthly deep cleans, I'm finding that I have to retrain a new team every month to get to know my place, and efficiency is compromised. After my last clean (with yet another brand new team), I was told they would need 4 hours to deep clean my townhouse moving forward, even though previous teams (from this company and others) all did it in 3 -3.5 hours max, in almost 4 years since I've lived here. This insistence on 4 hours was after all the teams who knew our home had quit.
So now they were telling me I had to pay up more, so that their less-efficient newbie teams could learn how to clean my place. I would have even sucked it up, honestly, but with less than 24 hours before my scheduled clean tomorrow, I got a call today telling me (not asking me, TELLING ME) that they were coming at a different time and would be sending a different team than the one that we had agreed upon when I called. This was the last straw.
I'd sooner pay more, elsewhere, and have a team that doesn't turn over every month or two. I'm completely disappointed and regret every single time that I recommended this company to anyone. Absolutely not. Find a place where the employees love their job enough to stick around.
ETA: The owner saw this review and asked me to take it down. He tried to explain that it was a "miscommunication" even though the team swaps and last-minute changes have happened on more than one occasion, as phone logs with his scheduling person Emily (and before that, Rosa) would prove. He tried to entice me back with incentives and hollow promises that they would "do better," although I have also heard this before.
Nothing in what I have said is false. Defensive statements from an owner hoping to protect his business reputation is hardly a surprise. I have given many chances over the years, because I really don't believe that any company should necessarily be defined by one bad day, but in this case, it hasn't been just one isolated incident. Erica, Anna, Carla, Arianna, Carmen, Roxanne .... cleaners who are all gone, who knew my home. Not sure if Toche is still there (maybe he is, he was last month). I cannot leave a 5-star review or gaslight my own experience with Fresh One, which has deteriorated over the years and is no longer anywhere near 5 stars.

This is the first time I've seen a company go above and beyond what the customer has requested. Normally, when we call for any kind of help, they act in accordance with company policies. They have excellent time management skills and genuinely care about their clients. First impressions are excellent; they essentially took care of all the extra cleaning for me in my flat, from taking out the trash to thoroughly cleaning everything.
Sometimes I feel disgusted, I live in a small, crowded apartment and when I cook, my room gets hot and sticky, and the floor, kitchen cabinets, and windows all get sticky.
