I’d 100% recommend them! I compared 5+ car rental companies nearby and chose them. Their price is good, and most importantly there is no huge deposit nor hidden charge. Pick up and returning process were great, the have a counter in the rental center of the airport, the car works just as it should.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the best car rental companies we’ve ever used across all the countries we’ve traveled to! Before arriving in Malta, we were honestly a bit worried because we had heard that many rental companies there can be unreliable or even scammy. However, our experience with this company completely exceeded our expectations. The whole process was extremely smooth — both pick-up and drop-off took less than 15 minutes. The car was ready on time, clean, and in perfect condition. What really stood out is the value for money. The price we paid was excellent for the car we booked, and we were even upgraded to a better car than the one we originally reserved, which was a very nice surprise. We were also concerned about the deposit, as many companies require €1000 or more and make it difficult to get it back. But here, the deposit was only €450, which felt much more reasonable and fair. Another big plus: booking directly with them (no third-party needed), and the insurance is fully comprehensive and included in the price — no hidden fees or unexpected charges. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Malta. We will definitely use them again!

Its always great to rent a car with peace of mind and no hassle.. To start with, its great to have an affordable rental price + affordable deposit.. this is appreciated!!! 🤍 I would say this is the first thing I considered before renting.. Because this means you can always rely on them for your rental.. you know you can afford it.. The second great thing, is the service!! They are professional.. You don't want to rent a car and be on your toes knowing they will find a way to charge you extra!! Professionalism is something that gives you a peace of mind, and they are professional.. Cars are great!! New, clean, no funny stickers around the car with company name (like other providers).. I left happy.. Knowing they exist here made me happy.. Its like having your own car.. Easy rental, easy paperwork stuff, easy to find, collect and drop off very smooth.. Honestly, nothing to complain about.. Finally I would like to thank Sabri for his great hospitality and service.. Altamente Consigliato: Esperienza di Noleggio Auto Senza Problemi a Malta Ho recentemente noleggiato un'auto tramite MaltaCarHire.mt e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto del servizio dall'inizio alla fine. Se state cercando un'azienda locale affidabile per i vostri viaggi a Malta, sono la scelta giusta. L'intero processo, dalla prenotazione online al ritiro del veicolo in aeroporto, è stato incredibilmente fluido ed efficiente. La differenza fondamentale che ho riscontrato qui rispetto ad altre aziende è stata la completa trasparenza dei prezzi. Non c'erano assolutamente costi nascosti o tattiche aggressive per vendere extra non necessari all'arrivo, il che è un enorme sollievo quando si viaggia. L'auto che ho ricevuto era esattamente come promesso (nel mio caso, una nuova Kia Picanto) e in ottime condizioni, rendendola perfetta per percorrere le strade belle, ma a volte strette, di Malta. Il personale è stato professionale, cordiale e molto disponibile. Hanno sbrigato rapidamente le pratiche burocratiche e hanno spiegato chiaramente i termini del noleggio. Anche la riconsegna è stata altrettanto facile e veloce: un'esperienza davvero priva di problemi. Per chiunque stia pianificando un viaggio a Malta e abbia bisogno di mobilità per esplorare oltre le città principali, consiglio vivamente MaltaCarHire.mt per il loro eccellente servizio clienti, i prezzi equi e l'impegno per la trasparenza. evitare come la peste Pessimi in tutto Mentre ero in vacanza a Malta, ahimè ho graffiato una macchina posteggoata Dopo il rapporto LESA (la macchina noleggiata non ha avuto danni) ho dovuto sborsare altri 425€ non ho più rivisto questi soldi perchè la compagnia non da la possibilità di comprare un assicurazione per eventuali danni...da evitare!!

Hello,

As we have explained to you via email on several occasions you were involved in a traffic accident were you have called Lesa the local traffic officer and you have accepted liability that you caused the accident and damaged a third party vehicle.

We had no other option as you have signed the Police report on the spot and accepted liability therefore we had to charge you the excess fee to open the insurance claim so third party can have his car repaired.

I make a reservation online in advance, lots of availability in the website. Well... they do not have cars available, and they don't even bother letting you know by cancelling the reservation (they had 24 hours, a full business day to inform me). Fortunately I called them before going to pick up the car, otherwise I would have wasted the trip to the Airport. What a joke. I think their inventory is simply not alligned with the website information. Their argument was that I needed to book further in advance, but what is the point on having an online booking system if it doesn't reflect your availablility?

Excellent car hire company; highly recommend. My husband & I hire cars on most of our vacations, and as always, it’s imperative that you undertake thorough research before selecting a car hire company. Many of the other car hire companies based at this airport appear to be running common scams on unsuspecting tourists (and are also charging excessively steep deposits). This hire company is legitimate, fair, and reliable. We hired a small Kia Picanto for 9 days, which we used to travel extensively across both Gozo and mainland Malta. The car was clean and in very good order. In fact, I liked it so much, I’m thinking about buying one in the UK! The car hire company was closed on our return to the airport at 4am but they gave us prior instructions about where to park, and there is a drop box for the car keys by the lifts! Very smooth and straightforward process. Support smaller companies, folks!
