Mahindra East rand including Mahindra South Africa, one of the worst brands of vehicle I ever wasted money on. 1year in and the vehicle has been so many time for repairs. On the last time March to April 2026 the vehicle went for repairs, was in for +/- 20 days. Alot of parts were replaced and repaired. Vehicle back brake need to be replaced on 45000km, front still in good condition, when asked how is this possible that the front is still good and the rear is gone, I received an answer that is how the vehicle is and I will have to pay. When speaking to the East rand dealer on selling the vehicle and other Mahindra dealer the offer is about R60 000 lower than the trade book value. Speaking to them about the low price, I was offered a comment to go to We Buy Cars to see if they will offer more. With all the problems and the brand that does not even stand by their own product, please really consider before proceeding to buy.

When dealing with Mahindra Eastrand, it is advisable to get everything said or discussed in writing. I had to pay for license and registration from my own picket after being invoiced for it.
MFC and Mahindra South Africa were informed but as per true South African standards, nothing was done.
My advice is to stay away from Mahindra and MFC, period.

I went there to purchase parts for my Mahindra. I was assisted by Nisha over the phone and in store. She made sure I received all the correct parts for my car and was extremely helpful and friendly in store āŗļø very knowledgeable on parts, impressive for a female in this industry šš¼

Avoid THIS dealership and think twice about Mahindra AS A BRAND in general! If you are thinking of choosing between a Mahindra and another brand, choose the other brand⦠even if the other brand is a pre-owned (from the more reputable brands)
We bought a "brand new" 2025 S6 Pikup in August, but it has been a nightmare. We believe we were sold a refurbished vehicle disguised as brand new.
Major Red Flags: (Which according to their customer service, are very normal and expected for their brand new vehicles).
- Ownership Issues: During service, we discovered the vehicle was registered to a different owner in Mahindraās internal system.
- Mechanical & Electrical: Faulty fuel sensors (inconsistent readings), aircon blowing hot air, a popping fuel cap, and a broken door sensor/modulator.
- Poor Condition: The engine was rusty upon delivery, door rubbers were worn out, and the key looked heavily used.
Customer Service:
The East Rand sales team was dismissive, making us feel "silly" for expecting a functional new car. Despite multiple "repairs," issues persist, and we are still waiting on parts from the Heidelberg branch weeks later.
This is a very summarised review because of maximum word count. But yea, I have way more to say about this dealership and brand as a whole. The entire experience has been completely trash. Trust me, they make trash vehicles there at Mahindra. Donāt be like me. Choose better. Choose anything but Mahindra.
Whether it's poor manufacturing or dishonest sales tactics, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

What a horrible experience we have had. We bought a brand new bakkie with them and we have had to fix it ever since we received it, IMAGINE!! When you complain they will dismiss you and tell you that āthese things happenā. Spare yourself the disappointment.
I wouldnāt recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from Mahindra Eastrand, you will cry!!

I took my Mahindra pickup in for a service today. Firstly I would like to start from the call to book the vehicle in. The phone was answered promptly with a service booked the next day. On arrival to the service centre I was met with a smiling and friendly lady, cannot remember her name sadly. I was directed to go upstairs and sort out the booking. I was then further greeted with what I presume was the HOD, the gentleman offered me(please note machine coffee) and introduced me to my service provider. All was done so quickly and professionally. I was dropped off back at work with a lovely driver. Collecting my vehicle was even better. It was washed. The lady that signed off my book was just to darn sweet and can truely say the work environment is excellent. I am in sales myself and believe we lack quality service in South Africa, but today has shown me that there are still places that strive on delivering only the best. Thank you Mahindra Easyrand for making my day.

Worst service ever in this place. You buy a new Mahindra somewhere else and bring it to your closest dealer and then you end up with pure frustration at this dealership. Noone knows how to help, everyone just passes you on to someone else and even when you go in person, they just sit and look at you as if you are not there. Asked about the app. Was told to sort out the app at the local licence department. If i could give zero stars i would.
