Good day.
* I have 2 girl yorkies, had them since they where puppies. As part of me being a parent of my dogs I get them vaccinated and groom when they’re supposed to be. I specially have to get them vaccinated because I own a daycare and is part of my license . So doing my daycare inspections they have to see my dogs shot records. My dogs are never in or near the children during daycare hours. You never hear, see or smell my dogs. My dogs are on a different floor inside of their cage. They also have their own gated cage area outside. I also have a five-year-old daughter who plays with the dogs and she lives here, I never seen anything on her or myself.

* Part of being a daycare provider we do full body scans looking for any marks on children. When your son got dropped off that morning he didn’t have any marks on his body. That evening when your daughter came in from school I noticed that she had mosquito bites on her legs.

* My daycare is in my basement. Being a daycare provider I created a safe, healthy, clean and fun environment for the children.

* I’m on Prince George’s County food program and is not required that we give them bottled water. If a parent wants their child to drink bottled water that is the responsibility of the parent not provider.

* When a parent has Maryland vouchers the parent signs and the provider signs. The provider fax off the copy to the Maryland voucher program. It takes up to a month and a half for the provider to get process into the system. When you came to my door you asked me to fill out a form, I was not sure what the form was. You told me it was a form to release the vouchers out of my name. I informed you I could not do that because I have not got paid yet. If you have Maryland vouchers or paying out-of-pocket the parent is responsible to make sure they have no delinquent payments that is owed to the daycare . So if I signed that form it will release me from getting my payment for watching the children. When I explain that to you you begin to get out of character. You ask for their belongings and you walked away mad.

* I’m sorry that my daycare was not a good fit you. But in the end I would have like to get to know your children and seen them grow as I have with many other children who came in my daycare for years.
