Verified Company
The name Loyalty promises integrity and commitment. My experience suggested neither.
My mother was approached by the company's owner, who offered to install temporary patches over hail-damaged sections of her roof at no cost while she considered her options. The offer appeared generous, and she accepted in good faith.
After obtaining estimates from multiple contractors, she ultimately elected to hire a different roofing company with a stronger reputation. It was only then that Loyalty demanded payment for the temporary work they had previously represented as complimentary.
The situation became more concerning after the temporary repairs were inspected. By my observations (I am Osha 30 certified, with 10+ construction experience if that means anything,) the patches had been installed carelessly and failed to provide adequate protection from the elements. Instead of tucking the patch under the shingle obove it, they simply nailed the tarp over the top layer. Rather than preventing further deterioration, they allowed additional water intrusion, contributing to damage inside the attic that was not present before the work was performed.
Perhaps the most unusual observation was the condition of the shingles themselves. Extending from the gutter toward the ridge was an oddly consistent, nearly linear series of indentations. Each mark appeared remarkably uniform in size, depth, and spacing. The pattern bore a striking resemblance to repeated hammer impacts rather than the irregular damage one would ordinarily associate with a hailstorm. While I cannot state with certainty what produced these marks, their consistency was difficult to ignore and raised questions that, in my view, warranted independent inspection by a qualified roofing professional.
Professionalism is measured not only by workmanship but by honesty, transparency, and respect for the customer. Based on this experience, I found those qualities to be lacking. I would encourage any homeowner facing a similar situation to obtain multiple opinions, thoroughly document the condition of their roof before and after any work is performed, and carefully review all representations made regarding pricing and repairs before authorizing work.
