Stone & surface sent 2 folks out to my home to deep clean, apply penetrating sealer & repair chips on my granite kitchen countertops. removing the calcification from my travertine shower floor. Marie in the office was very responsive and Oscar and his helper did an excellent job of making my shower floor look like new! After completing the job they left my house as clean as it was before they came. I'm very happy with job they did for me and would highly recommend them.

After spending a lot of money to have them do the epoxy for our garage, they have completely dropped the ball on service. They have cancelled on me twice in a row, with extremely short notice. Then they tried to act like the time I scheduled the service for, which they agreed to and put me on the schedule for, was the problem. They seemed very unprofessional, unapologetic, and actually blamed the customer for why they cancelled twice in a row with very short notice.

We had worked on your garage several years ago and it seems you were happy with our service because you had called us to make a small repair in the garage where the concrete in the garage was damaged.
We scheduled the repair with your husband weeks ago, On the way to your scheduled appointment our service van had a blown a turbo in the engine and needed to be towed to get repaired.
We called you right away and let you know, however you did not remember we were coming on that day (you had told our office Staff you had nothing scheduled with us). We rescheduled the appointment. It took several days to get the part in for our van and once it was installed they found a second issue that delayed us from coming the second time and We let you know as soon as we knew we would not be able to come. We rescheduled Again for tomorrow to come and Make this Repair to your garage.
We are a small company and do not have a big fleet of vehicles or employees.
We are sorry for not being able to come to your scheduled appointments, We pride ourselves on not being a company that does show up when promised and we try to communicate as best as possible with our customers.
This situation was a unique situation that effected many other appointments as well. (all of our other appointments have been very understanding of the delay). This situation was beyond our control to provide you with the type of service you would have liked and the type of service i want to provide as an owner.
I Wanted to come and do the repair myself to make sure it was completed this time, so i had our office schedule me to come to do the repair as soon as it fit with your schedule and mine because i knew there was a time you wanted specifically for us to do the repair.
Because you were patient with us having to reschedule and because you were a returning customer i was going to do the repair free of charge which was a $350.00 repair. (you did not know this because i was going to tell you this when i arrived tomorrow).
Thank you for letting us know how you feel. We are scheduled to do the repair tomorrow, But Based on this Pre-Review and similar text messages sent to our office staff I will Cancel Your appointment from our schedule. I assume you feel as i do that I would never trust a 1 star google reviewed company to come to work at my home.
Again This was an unusual circumstance that had effected many of our Appointments, We appreciate you are frustrated as we are also, It was a situation beyond our control.

out travertine floors and buff scratches out of our granite island. The crew was very pleasant and professional. The results were amazing! Our travertine, grout, and granite look like the day we installed them 19 years ago.
Stone Surface Specialists exceeded all my expectations! Not only did they do a phenomenal job polishing my original concrete slab (from 1954), but they also arrived earlier than scheduled and completed the project in half the anticipated time. The team was professional, efficient, and the communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Floor looks amazing!! I highly recommend!!
