This is usually a fairly pleasant location, but tonight several sections of lights were off inside and it appeared as if they were closed when we arrived at 7:30pm. When we asked about the lights, they said they were slow today (no wonder ha!) and they never turned those lights on while we were there. There was no ice available at the beverage station, the tea was low, and the lids were not stocked. The workers were kind and offered additional desserts when one of our meals was wrong. That was nice and we appreciated it. As we left the lights on the exterior were completely dark. It was an unusual McAlisters Saturday night experience. 🤷🏻♀️

It’s not necessarily this location alone, but the app they use for ordering has a tip line. I thought this company boasted that they never ask for tips… I’m really sick of this tipping culture and especially when it’s asked for up front, as well as the percentages for “suggested” tips they expect someone to pay even when they’re not getting any dine in service.
