Don't ask them for a trouble shooting. Even though they know they cannot fix the problem, they will still send an electrician and charge $250. An electrician they sent to me didn't take 10 seconds to diagnose that my issue was a fixture problem. The electrician asked why I didn't send photos to the Leader Electric and explain the issue. Actually I DID. The management knew and still sent him to charge.
I was in need of a low voltage electrician to run CAT6 in my apartment and Leader Electric was my first and only call. I spoke with Travis over the phone and he immediately understood what my needs were.
The electrician, Jonathan, did a great job of running the cables in my apartment. They even offer a warranty on parts they provide. The project overall was a bit pricey, but it’s worth spending the extra money for that peace of mind, knowing it’ll get done right.
As a general contractor, I've had the pleasure of working with numerous electricians over the years, but Leader Electric truly stands out. Their professionalism is unparalleled, and their expertise in the electrical field is commendable. Every member of their team showcases a well-rounded skill set, making every project seamless from start to finish. They've consistently gone above and beyond in all aspects, ensuring top-notch quality and customer satisfaction. Their dedication and commitment to excellence set them apart in the industry.
Overall my experience was not good. Patrick came by to check out a defective ceiling light and replace the wiring on a couple of other lights. He also replaced an outlet near the stove. All of the work took about half an hour. Patrick said he needed to order a part for the defective ceiling light and would return once that part arrived. I never heard back from him or the office so I emailed (a week later) and was told the part had shipped but there was no ETA. Another week went by with no update so I contacted the office again and was told they had to check on an ETA. I never heard back so I canceled the job. How hard is it to order and receive a part? How hard is it to keep me in the loop? I ended up paying $250 for half an hour's work and an incomplete job.
Had a really bad experience with Leader. They came to install ceiling fixtures, spent three hours, one of which was on a fruitless hunt for parts at a far-away hardware store, and ultimately failed to install any lights but charged $600. When I asked them to reduce the charge they only would do so on the condition that we use them to finish the job, for which they provided a very high quote. We found someone else who did the work for 1/3 of the quote and in half the time.
Leader was terrific in every way. Reasonably priced, worked efficiently, dedicated to resolving all our problems, and the staff was great to work with. Gurbir at the office and Johnathan the tech couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Highly recommend them and glad we found them for future electrician needs.
