Why I Gave a 3-Star Review: A Balanced Look at My Resort Stay
When it comes to reviewing a place, it's important to be honest and fair. I recently stayed at a resort, and while there were many things I enjoyed, there were also areas that need improvement. Here's why I gave it a 3-star rating.
The Positives:
1. The Place Was Good
Upon arriving, the resort's overall atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. The environment was peaceful, with beautiful surroundings that made it a relaxing getaway. I could really feel the effort put into creating a pleasant vibe for guests.
2. Delicious Food
The food was a highlight of my stay. From breakfast to dinner, the meals were flavorful and well-prepared. It’s always a plus when a place can offer a satisfying culinary experience.
3. Pleasant Environment
The resort itself was quite serene, offering a great escape from daily life. Whether by the pool or walking through the grounds, I felt a sense of calm that made my time there enjoyable.
Room for Improvement:
While I had an overall good experience, there were a few drawbacks that I felt needed attention. One area that stood out was the condition of the toilet in the room. It was evident that the resort needs to invest more in maintaining the facilities to ensure they meet guest expectations.
Customer Feedback and the Importance of Humility:
One of the main reasons I couldn't rate this place higher was because of how the management responded—or rather, didn’t respond—to feedback. I noticed that in some guest reviews, issues were mentioned (like the ones I faced with the bathroom), but the admin or staff never replied. This lack of engagement felt dismissive and left a negative impression.
As a business, it's vital to remember that every customer is paying for an experience, and it’s important to be humble, open, and appreciative of their feedback. Constructive criticism, when handled well, can actually serve as free marketing by showing potential customers that you care about improving and are attentive to their needs. A simple reply acknowledging their concerns can go a long way.
Conclusion:
All in all, my stay was enjoyable, but the lack of response to customer feedback made me reconsider giving a perfect score. If the resort can work on improving its facilities and approach to guest communication, I could see it becoming an even better place to visit.
I hope this review helps others make an informed decision, and I encourage the management to embrace feedback with grace and humility. After all, that's the key to growth!

Check in Lalang Resort & Spa 14 Feb dan checkout 15 Feb.. book Arabic tent dan kami dapat arabic tent 2.. Unfortunately, kami dapat tent yg ad bintik2 hitam seperti moles (kulat).. At first masuk tent ad bau hapak dan kami husnuzon igtkan semua arabic tent ad bintik2 hitam begitu.. rupanya tent kami saja yg kotor penuh dgn moles.. Harga yg kami bayar utk 1 malam sama dengan arabic tent lain tapi kami dapat tent yg kotor.. Masa checkout ada inform receptionist tapi time tu pekerja d receptionist hanya cover kwn dia sekejap di kaunter.. But overall, makanan bbq and breakfast sedap, customer service pun tip top.. cuma slack yg tent tu saja dapat tent yg kotor dan berbau sedikit (mungkin disebabkan kulat2 di tent)
Pemandangannya memang indah, sangat memuaskan. Namun, sayang sekali jika hanya pemandangan yang A+, tetapi makanannya agak mengecewakan. Saya menginap dari 31/01/2025 hingga 01/02/2025, dan ketika sarapan pada 01/02, saya hanya sedar selepas habis makan. Boleh tengok gambar yang saya lampirkan. Rasa agak kurang selesa, perut mula rasa mual. abg ipar saya cuba makan telur separuh masak, tapi rasanya bukan seperti telur, lebih kepada mangkuk yang lama dibiarkan dalam almari dan mungkin sudah ada lipas. Staf memang sangat mesra, tetapi saya perasan, hanya seorang staf yang bertugas dari saya check-in, melayan waktu makan tengah hari, menyediakan shabu-shabu untuk makan malam, dan juga sarapan keesokan harinya. Memandangkan cuti dan hujung minggu, rasanya lebih baik jika ada lebih banyak staf untuk memberi perhatian kepada tetamu.
Tambahan, saya cadangkan agar lebih banyak staf disediakan pada hari-hari tertentu, terutamanya semasa cuti sekolah dan hujung minggu. Kualiti juga perlu dijaga, terutama sekali dalam hal makanan. Selain itu, mungkin lebih baik jika ada pelan sandaran, seperti yang saya alami—saya telah membuat tempahan untuk BBQ, tetapi ketika saya membuat permintaan pada malam tersebut, restoran tidak dapat menyediakannya kerana dewan telah ditempah untuk majlis perkahwinan. Mungkin boleh dipertimbangkan agar ada alternatif atau pelan lain yang lebih fleksibel untuk situasi seperti ini.

내 가족은 자연을 사랑하고, 캠핑을 좋아합니다. 이곳에서는 캠핑을 하지 않고 리조트에 머물렀지만 우리는 여전히 자연 가까이에 있고 편안함을 느낄 수 있습니다. 특히 우리는 이곳에서 직원들의 배려와 친절에 행복한 시간을 보냈습니다. 두리안 시즌에 방문한다면 리조트내에 두리안 나무가 아주 많습니다. 당신이 두리안을 줍는다면 무료로 먹을 수 있습니다.
내 아이는 리셉션옆에 있는 앵무새를 좋아했고, 숲속 수영장 뷰는 너무 멋집니다. 레스토랑도 분위기가 아주 좋습니다. 리조트에서는 우리를 최초의 한국인 방문객으로 환영해주셨습니다. 우리는 재방문하고 싶습니다.

Tempat yang teramat tenang bagi saya . Saya datang sebelum cuti sekolah , siapa pencinta nature this is for you all . Anak anak pon suka . Air sedap , makanan dia sedap sangat sangat! Saya makan nasi goreng cina , tomyam #chefkiss 🤌🏻 . kolam renang dewasa kena betul aware sebab ada kawasan tu dalam tapi dah ada mention kat signboard. Overall pengalaman ni sangat menarik and will repeat again In Shaa Allah.🤍🌱
We were surprised to find such an unexpected beautiful resort in a natural, untouched setting. The creek is crystal clear and a lovely place to relax or swim. The resort offers a variety of accommodation options which are terraced into the hillside and blend perfectly with the natural surrounds.The swimming pool is a beautiful infinity pool set amongst the surrounding forest. The restaurant offers a wide range of delicious meals
and is in a beautiful open air setting beside the running creek and overlooks a peaceful fish pond. The staff speak some English and are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. A great place to relax and unwind surrounded by nature. Highly recommend staying here.
