We’ve had our Labradoodle Muer for eight years now, and he just celebrated his 8th birthday a few days ago. It feels like the right time to finally write this review. I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful he is. He is beautiful, handsome, incredibly sweet, gentle, and well-mannered. He has the kindest temperament — friendly with everyone, calm, intuitive, and deeply loving. Everywhere we go, friends and strangers alike stop to tell us “He’s the best-behaved dog we’ve ever met.” And they truly mean it. Muer has been a constant source of joy in our family for the past eight years. He has grown with us, supported us through different seasons of life, and brought warmth and comfort into our home every single day. Thank you, English Manor Labradoodle, for giving us such an extraordinary gift. Bringing Mu’er into our lives was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made, and we are endlessly grateful.

UPDATE: Of course Joanne responded. Of course she has a lot to say, she is defending her business. This is my experience only, just go in with your eyes open. Gus has been an amazing dog, but an expensive dog. I believe Joanne is not the best breeder, I believe she is just in it for the money. Gus will be 9 in November. When I picked him up 8 years ago he was 10 weeks old and a leftover because he was black and curly not cream with straight hair. Joanne I was not exactly sure of his birthday or who his parents were ( red flag). She didn’t have any food to send home with him (red flag). I was given paperwork that he was micro chipped, however when scanned vet could not find one (red flag). I was just so happy to have him I overlooked. Gus showed and trained in obedience. He is super smart and even received his Utility title. Unfortunately I have to retire him at age six because he tore his CCL at age 3 (which we had TPLO surgery) he tore the second one at age 6 so I retired him. These surgeries are about $8000 each. Now at age 8 he has been diagnosed with Cushings disease. This is partly a genetic disease (torn CCL is also partly genetic) which requires daily medication and continuous bloodwork to watch the levels. Also not to mention the cost of monthly grooming. In conclusion I love Gus dearly, he is super smart, and the best buddy ever. As a breeder I would never buy a dog from Joanne again. When you buy from a breeder especially the price she is charging I would expect more genetic testing and someone more interested in how her dogs are doing. My other dog is a pure bred dog. His breeder is very involved in his life. We have a fb group and she is always available for questions. Not to mention if I can no longer care for my dog she wants him back. This is the sign of a good breeder. Only have a litter once every 5 years and only if she has people ready to take them before they are born. Also working to improve the breed with each litter.

Gus's Birthday and Parents is on the first page of your contract. You called me 2 years ago and asked who your dog was by, I would not be able to recall because we are Not Hobby breeders having a litter once ever 5 years. We do not allow our puppies to leave until they are 9 weeks or older , we honor our depositors color and gender preferences Black is least wanted that is why he was available, Why are you referring to your dog as a Leftover? Why are you complaining about cost of grooming? And why are you claiming we do not do health testing? Both of your dogs Parents were fully Health tested, we have health tested 4 generations of our Breeding Program cost $35,000 our dogs have fantastic scores. Breeders cannot test for CCL nor Cushing's because Genetic markers have not been found, CCL is a sports injury, Cushing's is linked to Obesity in dogs. You won Championships with him, these sports increase risk of CCL and 50% of dogs that tear the CCL tear the other one , In your text " Gus is a hard working Obedience dog" possible correlation . We require our buyers to "Prep for puppy" it is on my website to ensure a safe and smooth transition, in the event a buyer has not gotten the food we have always sent them home with food. Page 4 section 6 of our contract Clearly states our NO DOGS IN SHELTERS POLICY and that you are not allowed to rehome the dog without our Consent. We take back the dog if ever there were an issue you could not keep the dog. Our price point for our dogs reflects our investment into our Breeding program as well as current Vet care and Premium dog Food prices. We have purchased some of the BEST ALD's in the World. Our Very first Breeding female the foundation to our program came to us from Australia with a purchase price just shy of $20,000 Bradley the Sire of Gus was a $25,000 purchase. He is Currently 15 years old Perfectly Healthy and still jumping 6 ft fences at a stand still. We have spent $35,000 in health testing 4 generation of our breeding program. In the ALD world we are considered to be one of the strictest and best breeding programs in America today. We were against some of the Decisions certain breed Associations made regarding the ALD's and stood firmly against infusions. We are dedicated to the preservation of the Authentic Australian Labradoodles and highly concerned for it's future. This is why the Former (now retired) President of the ALCA our Parent Association held back advertising one of her Last breeding studs from her program and graciously gave us Terms so that he can be utilized in our breeding program because she knows the value of my lines and our understanding of the Authentic Australian Labradoodle and that he is the PERFECT complement to our program in keeping with the TRUE Authentic lines. We will be making monthly payments on him for the next year.
Contributions to the Breed that English Manor has made:
We helped with the creation of the Black color within the breed.
We helped with the development of Wavy fleece coats as all the original Dogs sent to America were of the wool coated variety, and the breed was to have a lower maintenance coat.
We helped with the development of a stockier build as we were still working on getting out the slender Poodle body
We helped Continue and preserve the Phenomenal Therapy temperaments by NOT infusing other breeds into our line when this was taking place in the Breed. Breeders then had to purchase OUR dogs to then correct there Lines.
WE also offer lifetime support for anyone that purchases a dog from us always have. We also have social media were Many of our clients keep in touch with us.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with English Manor Labradoodles! Last year, I brought home not one, but two sibling puppies from them — and it has truly been the best decision I’ve ever made. While I know it’s generally discouraged to take littermates, the quality of this bloodline speaks for itself. These puppies have been nothing short of a dream, and I have not experienced any of the typical challenges you often hear about. From the very beginning, Corinne and Joann made the process completely seamless. They are extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly care deeply about their dogs and the families they go home with. You can tell every step of the way that they are passionate about raising healthy, well-adjusted puppies. As for the dogs themselves, I am absolutely blown away. The temperament is everything you could hope for: gentle, loving, playful, and incredibly intuitive. They are unbelievably smart; training has been a breeze, and they pick up new commands in record time. In addition, their health has been perfect, and their coats are gorgeous, soft, and easy to maintain. Everywhere we go, people comment on how beautiful and well-behaved they are. Every time I leave the house with them, I am recommending English Manor Labradoodles left and right. I feel so grateful to have found English Manor Labradoodles and I definitely will only be coming back to them for future dogs. These dogs have brought so much joy, love, and laughter into our lives. If you are looking for an exceptional breeder and truly outstanding Australian Labradoodles, look no further. You most definitely will not be disappointed!

I recently purchased my puppy from English Manor. I received a healthy, playful, and mild mannered dog. Prior to bringing him home, my inquiries were always answered and everything went well with the business transaction. As questions come up, Corrine has been responsive in giving me insight towards my pup and its breed. Looking forward to our journey with our new dog.

We got our Australian Labradoodle puppy from the English Manor 2 months ago. Corrine answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about the breed. Our beautiful girl has a silky black coat that never sheds. She is a typical excited puppy, but otherwise has a kind, calming, and loving personality. She also loves playing with other dogs of all breeds and sizes (some don’t love playing with her). Haha. She loves to please and is very intelligent! We love going on daily walks and she is friend to all in the neighborhood. I don’t think I take a walk without someone wanting to pet her. She sleeps well in her crate and enjoys squeak toys! We also use a pen that helps her relax. Thank you English Manor Labradoodles!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get a AL pup!

We just got our puppy almost 4 weeks ago from English Manor Labradoodles. The puppy is super cute and very smart; typical puppy energy - but mellows out when she goes into her pen. We started housebreaking and basic training and she catches on very quickly and - amazingly - almost from the beginning - has slept through the night without needing to relieve herself. The communication with Corinne was good and Corinne has good advice that she shares when you pick up the puppy. Update: our pup is almost a year old and she’s awesome! Small-medium (35lbs); Healthy (couple of ear infections - but that’s just those floppy ears!); smart (catches on to training quickly); sweet demeanor; even good with our cat. If we get a second dog, I’d definitely go back to English Manor

Awesome breeder and the absolute BEST dogs. My mom got her dog from English Manor Labradoodles 4 years ago and her dog is just amazing. She’s so calm and loving. My two young daughters fell in love with dogs because of her. So fast forward 4 years, I had to go with the same breeder. We have our puppy only a week now, but we can already tell that she is the perfect addition to our family. She’s so calm and affectionate. Corrine and her mom really have so much knowledge about Australian labradoodles. If you are looking for an Australian labradoodle to add to your family, I would 100% recommend English Manor Labradoodles.

Corrine and co were wonderful and allowed us to secure our most precious love Oakley. Corrine got on the phone with me to discuss my husband’s allergies and took the time to share images of Oakley as a puppy and what she most likely would look like (which was so helpful)! I relied on Corrine’s advice for a few things when we just brought Oakley home and she was reassuring and responsive. I would buy one million more Oakley’s and my husband who didn’t want a dog is completely smitten. Our three kids couldn’t be happier either. We’ve taken Oakley on vacation and she is adaptive, intelligent, and snuggly.

My family could not be more happy with our dog from Corinne. At the time of writing this review our dog is 2 and a half years old. At her recent vet check up we were assured that she had a perfect coat, great teeth, great eyes, and her temperament is outstanding. She is really amazing. We put a lot of time into training her and in return she is very well behaved but still has a ton of personality. She plays well with my young kids and is patient with their friends. I don’t have one negative comment about her.

I would like to start off by saying that we are customers of English Manor Labradoodles since 2010 and all of our experiences with Joann and the pups have been wonderful. She is very knowledgeable, caring, and loves her dogs. Her dogs are healthy, have great temperaments, are easy to train, have beautiful coats and are great family dogs. We trust her opinion and often turn to her for advice on the breed. In the past we have recommended her to our friends, who also purchased puppies from her and they are very happy. She truly cares about her dogs and her reputation as a breeder that is why she matches the puppy's temperament to the family's dynamic. She would never allow for any of her puppies to end up in an unsafe environment which to me, is a great quality of a dog breeder. We would definitely get another puppy from Joann in the future!

We just adopted our second dog from English Manor. Our first Dog Faye was from one of Desiree Diva’s first litters and was an excellent smart dog with a sweet temperament. After a long life Faye passed to rainbow bridge a couple of years ago. When we decided it was time for a new puppy we immediately went to JoAnne and Corinne hoping that we would get a dog equal to our Faye. We brought Molly home as an 8 week old puppy about a week ago and she has been an absolute delight! She has a lovely calm temperament and gets into just enough puppy trouble to let us know she is a bright and inquisitive girl. She has a healthy appetite and is taking well to house and crate training. I am confident that Molly will be as much of a love as Faye was. As knowledgeable and experienced breeders JoAnne and Corinne want their dogs to go to kind and nurturing homes with family’s that are truly engaged in the dog’s well being. I am very happy to be part of the English Manor family and to have the privilege of raising another of these very special canines!

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ!!!!!! THEY ARE NOT MEMBERS OF ALAA THEY LIED !!!!!! I CHECKED THE WEBSITE !!!! So let me start off by saying, my dog is amazing. I got him at about 15 weeks old. My problem here is the breeder herself. I drove about 3 hours to get him and prior I asked her if he would be groomed to which she answered yes and that she would bathe him. When I got him he smelled SO bad. Not to mention he was wet and shivering for his life. There is no doubt in my mind that all she did was hose him down and leave him in a crate to “dry off”. Not only that but he had FLEAS all over him. I called her and she gave me a run around saying she has other animals and it had been raining and blah blah blah. Not only that but when I came home to give him a bath his coat was matted and it was extremely dirty. The water when I rinsed was coming out brown. $4000 to get him smelly, coat matted, and with fleas???? Are you kidding me? That’s the high quality care and “TLC” you give these dogs Joann? Not even done here but I apparently paid more because he was trained specifically for therapy and he had been trained and socialized but when I brought him home he was extremely afraid of everything as if he had been abused, skiddish and squirming. I have no doubt in my mind that Joann does N O T take proper care of these dogs. I am extremely disappointed to realize this because on the phone she made it sound like sunshine and rainbows. I trusted her. Do better Joann. These are innocent souls.. and they deserve to be treated as such. A $4000 puppy should not be sent home smelly, wet, with fleas, and with a matted coat. You should be extremely ashamed of yourself. Please look into a different breeder. I love my baby and Im proud to say I rescued him because I will absolutely ensure I give him the best life he would’ve never had with them.

Jeryleen,
Im Sorry you have such a Horrendous impression of us but it's your impression and far from the truth. We have been breeders of Authentic Australian Labradoodles from the very beginning of this breeds importation into USA at which time there was NO organizations for the breed. We studied diligently about the current trend in Labradoodle breeding and instead of going out and buying a lab and breeding it to a poodle a possible $2500 investment we went with the investment of the $15,000 -$25,000 Australian labradoodle being imported into the US from Rutland Manner. We are now considered one of the founding breeders here in the US with some of the most coveted bloodlines within the breed. There is semen frozen in vaults that most breeders will not sell to other breeders and my Breeding females because of there lineage are approved for breeding rights. One of these breeding's is about to happen and likely all the resulting pups will only be sold to other breeders and not offered to the public to preserve these incredible lines and there wonderful temperaments. I never stated to you on the phone we were members of the ALAA. We were members in the beginning (18 years ago) but many fights, battles and votes about breeding strategies for the ALAA were being hashed out. Standards for the ALAA were being voted upon. We believed in not diverting in anyway from Rutland Manners Bloodlines and we were Against the introduction of any American labradoodle influences into the lines. Certain things were voted on and adopted that we disagreed with so we gracefully faded away from the ALAA. I explain this to anyone that's asks I would never lie about that. The specific older puppy you purchased was not sold to you as " Trained for Therapy" IN which case he would of been a $20,000 dog, We offer crate training, Potty training, and house training. We were selling him as " Potty trained" Yes all our dogs are suitable for Therapy work and are affectionate they are bred to have very submissive personalities and approach new scary things in there environment gently and submissively. Other breeds when scared of a new environment might lash out and bite. This breed will retreat. They are bred to tolerate and not lash out say if a child with down syndrome was to bite the dog the dog is not to defend itself. Not only was your dog groomed he had been groomed and bathed multiple times that week and bathed in a tub with warm water in our home with flea and tick shampoo's because we had other people come and view him that week. He was also bathed the day you picked him up. We get $5500 for our Potty trained dogs but this was during Covid and we were prioritizing people that were suffering with mental distress and so we talked the other parties willing to give us $5500 into waiting so we could get this dog into your hands. Shivering is a stress response to being bathed and blown dry washing dogs does stress them out. He was still only a puppy. He would not of been covered with fleas simply because he had been bathed multiple times, soap kills fleas. However sometimes our dogs do have fleas we make sure our dogs go outside multiple times per day and they pick up fleas in the yard. We fight fleas with all natural products and manage fleas the best we can we avoid the chemicals that annihilate fleas because they seem to be annihilating dogs as well ,Cancers and seizures mainly are caused by these products. After 18 years of breeding if you question my care of our puppies your can call Cornell University and ask them to tell you about the story of Buddy and what lengths and money as breeders we went to safe the life of that Puppy. BUDDY is a resident at Cornell University because one of the Nurses fell in love him and we could not separate the two. Your Puppies original fearful reaction to going home is a typical response for a breed that's been bred to be SUPER Submissive lowkey and Gentle. You can doubt everything you said here, that's the truth.
