Kayla is an incredible hairstylist- colorist. When I first came to see Kayla my hair was literally orange due to a bad dye job, and bad cut. We consulted and devised a plan. I knew that I was in.good hands. She is intelligent and honest not to mention an extreme perfectionist. I would without a doubt reccommend Kayla Kelsay you will not be disappointed.
Made an appointment for simple conditioning mask and shampoo with blow dry to treat myself. Englewood location Carla was my stylist, she didn't give any scalp massage whatsoever and just used a brand i actually have at home Dream Wow. Really? A salon should have more substantial of treatment mask than customers can buy themselves at the store. She also had very unkept frizzy hair and she made a huge deal about my hair being blonde, they literally have no blondes working there and are clueless how to lift blondes. She brought a guy over to" Consult" in case I wanted to do my roots there in the future, the guy recommended an ash blonde color to lift my dark brown root lol, really? My hair is a nice gold blonde. The guy had gray hair and the lady at the front had brown hair with a blob of orange on top, so looking at their hair as examples was enough for me to pass on getting my hair colored in the future. One more very odd thing, I had a shoulder surgery so I wear a fanny pack instead of carrying a purse on my shoulder, the stylist Carla actually commented " Did you walk here ?" What?? She pointed to my fanny pack and said she thought that was just for walkers....🙄just very weird. I still was polite and gave too generous a tip really considering the rude commentary... unprofessional and definitely do NOT recommend
This is the 2nd time my hair got ruined at your salon. Listen to the client! I'm pissed! And I will share my awful experiences with others. Get more experienced help! I will not go back to have them "fix" it. That would be stupid! Need new owners. And fyi...you're not a high end salon, not even close!
My husband and I have been going to the salon for over a year since we moved to North Port. We have received several different services and we thought we found the perfect place for all our needs! I received a text message asking me to confirm my husband‘s appointment and I responded with cancel. I was unaware the text message does not understand the term “cancel “. My husband’s appointment was scheduled for the last appointment of the day. I called first thing that morning to cancel and I was told I would be charged $25. I was highly disappointed because I did attempt to cancel my appointment, and my husband and I have been going to the salon for a year quite often. I expressed my disappointment and asked to talk to a manager, which I was denied. My husband and I will no longer be receiving services at the salon.
I've been a loyal customer of Kyle Kurtis Salon and Spa for over five years, and I can confidently say that it's the best salon in town! Every visit is consistently exceptional, and I'm always impressed by the level of service and attention to detail.

Jackie and Brandie are highly skilled and take the time to understand exactly what I want, ensuring that I leave feeling confident and satisfied every time.

My stylist Erin always takes great care of me. She can make one feel like they are royalty with her attention to detail and absolute care for your comfort. Not to mention the best shampoo head massage ever.

Staff has never once been rude, either. Always friendly and hospitable in the few years I've been coming here.
